I love it when you make a character, and the dice actually facilitate the RP of that character. Like these two dummies rolling low on INT checks lol
I also love that Kore and Rooster are both different flavors of dumbass. One is carefree and a bit naive, the other is more like a stubborn, ignorant tourist in a foreign country.
I have an oc for this, and she would be the one who tries to be smart.

@denverarnold6210 Depends on what kind of dirt you’re eating. There’s a girl I used to work with who once went through a gardening store and tasted various kinds of soil, then bought the tastiest and ate it, and she’s still perfectly alive and healthy years later. (And no, she didn’t have pica or anything like that. She did this because she was in a play with a scene where her character was forced to eat dirt, and she decided that the most realistic way to portray this would be to actually eat dirt onstage.)

First of all, I love the effects for the insect queen's voice. Very cool. Second, I love that Kore and Rooster now have choices for how to solve this problem. They could either kill the bugs, escape and tell the miners and bandits about the bugs so they can deal with it, or help the bugs which will make the situation worse for those on the surface. I can't wait to find out what they do.

god I love this series so much, one of the first podcasts ive been able to sit down and listen to with great interest! I do hope it continues through the campaign and continues to get referenced in other videos. Felix is a phenominal dm as well!

Small note to fellow listeners about 3.5: Running works as follows:
Assuming you don't have any feats, class features, or magic items that effect it, running makes you move four times your base movement speed. So Kor falling behind isn't by a matter of 10 feet per round, but by 40 feet per round, as Kor's run speed would be 80 feet per round, while Rooster's run speed would be 120 feet per round.

45:36, The description of the diety being depicted in this temple almost resembles Kore himself (it has horns, is muscular and looks unfriendly). I’m not sure if this is meant to say Kore is a creation (or a child) of this horned diety, but for some reason is unaware of this.

I love how Kore is totaly loyal neutral, only wanting to advence in the quest, and Rooster is chaotic good wanting to help even those who are clearly the baddies in the story. i'm totaly team rooster! partly because helping and completing side quest is the best. aaaaand because it make Kore do cute frustrated sound ^^

So this game is probably long over, but, if not, you should probably look at the help action, you can basically roll to give the other person a bonus by encouraging of coaching or pointing stuff out and all. With the rolls y’all managed… you need any bonuses you can possibly try haha. Similarly make sure you don’t have any bonuses from skill synergies, those are easy to forget about.
