The new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 gets a new single cylinder 349cc air-oil cooled engine with SOHC and 2 valves. The peak power of the motorcycle is 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. The Meteor comes with an oil change interval of 10000 km with a service interval of 6 months. The Meteor has three variants - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova where the Supernova is the top of the line variant. The variant wise pricing of the Meteor is provided below.

@@manik_08 You buy the bike, change rear suspensions to nitrox. Will cost Rs 2500 and will be available in the RE Showrooms itself.
Trust me, the nitrox suspensions are 60-70% better than the stock one!

Will be good step RE is taking to modernize there lineups. Will be great competition to the highness 350 and all others in the segment.
(I think they should start to implement good mono shocks which will improve the comfort and handling)
For someone Royal Enfield is a luxury but for me it's a dream. I hope one day I can achieve

Bike looks smaller. It should have more bulky which may give it a macho stance. Seating position is on lower side as in avenger which doesn't look good

I'm really glad that RE pushed the envelope and made this mean machine. I was disappointed by Honda's discriminatory approach of selling CB highness to the city folks only. Hopefully RE will make it available soon.

What quality. Most of the parts are plastic. Example mudguard, mirrors, petrol tank cap etc.

Took a test ride yesterday. Indeed a good very comfy bike. Rear seat is a bit on a shorter side. They could have added a bigger seat without altering anything in the bike chassis length. Just one shortfall draws negative reviews to an otherwise good bike 🙂🙂🙂 That is something they should not have compromised. I am still considering to buy...!!

Yes, rider seat comfort is much much more in classic due to that suspension under the rider seat, it's really awesome for bad roads

HNess is slightly better
But highness is only available in the big wing showroom of honda, it is there only in some cities. Hence meteor is readily available to most of the concerned customers.

Few things which is missing in this bike according to me
1. Oil cooling system like the himalayan
2.slipper clutch
3.6th gear (may be may be not)
4. Square large rear view mirror
5. LED headlamp
6.rpm meter
7.large fuel tank 21 lit
8. Kick start

Very detailed review 👍. The bike could have used better colours. In isolation almost every thing on the bike is good like engine , chassis etc but as a whole package somehow it's not coming together. More work needed RE.

The point I was looking for in almost all videos but provided by none! I was apprehensive about the riding posture since the position of legs while seated is forward and not upright unlike in a Classic 350, and its effects on your back and buttocks after may be 100-200kms. Everybody speaks about the specs , which even we the viewers can access from the official website or from the the customer executives at the showroom. What nobody tells us, are the cons, ride quality, feel, performance etc. This video gives all these information. Look no further !! Now I can make my choice between the Classic 350 & Meteor 350 !

How would these straight exhaust pipes work on the Continental GT/Interceptor 650s?
