    For me its the goddamm best bike for all of my purposes. Its a mile muncher! Punchy low end torque enough for quick overtakes, good mid rpm power and a cruising speed of 90-110 kmph all day even in a 1000 km a day long without thinking of refinement issues. No gimmicky features as such thanks to its retro nature. Coming to headlight, whether its a halogen or LED doesn't matter until its functionality is good. From what I have heard from the owners is that it has decent headlight throw but one need to go for auxillary lights for better night vision(for night riders). Once a wise man said "The value for money concept ends once you exit the showroom". Hence I don't mind if its a good pick for the price. Gonna book this beauty in coming months.

    @boywithtravellingbag, I live in Bangalore and planning to take a 350CC bike to commute to office and occasional long rides. I wanted to go for Meteor 350 but after test riding Honda CB350 Highness, I'm bit confused. Can you please help me in deciding?

    • @boywithtravellingbag
      @boywithtravellingbag  11 месяцев назад +1

      Sure! If you are getting confused after riding CB350, it means you are getting good vibes from it which is contradicting your interest in Meteor.
      CB350 is a great bike, go for it ❤️
      Now, why I am saying this, I tell you. Look, you have tested Meteor first, and then Honda. If CB is making that impact in you that means you should go for it. CB is a great bike to have undoubtedly. We don’t select our bike, bike selects us!
      So, my friend, out of two marvellous bikes, go for Honda CB350.
      These both bikes have character to perform in cities as well as long rides. 🏆
      Bonus: these two bikes has been tested in market and proven like gems 💎

      @@boywithtravellingbag can you give your opinion on this? I have no one to ask . I live in Nepal and Jawa 42 2.1 costs around 7.85 lakhs here, comes with abs, whereas Meteor 350 costs 5.65 lakhs with no Abs system in it, it cut down its price for not giving is Abs here. And I had loved Jawa 42 at first because of it's unique and black matte finish design, and I've heard of its good pick ups and power and it provides thrills and adventure while cruising. But when I thought of its price here. It seemed kinda ruthless to spend nearly 8 lakhs for a bike. So I started looking out for other bike and I knew about Meteor 350. It's the 2nd bike I loved. After overall thinking, I thought meteor 350 would be good. Ig most bikes are durable in nature. Especially RE Meteor 350, I have a good feeling that it would give me company for long years. From what I've seen and heard, Meteor 350 provides that comfort and peaceful ride while Jawa provides the rider thrills and something exciting. I had loved Jawa 42 first but tbh, I get this feeling that I don't mind having meteor 350, a peaceful bike.

      @@dr.sunflower6336 yes, you heard it right. java 42 is a fun bike to have but not for the longer rides. Meteor is a great option but It would be great if it would have ABS along.
      Now, 8 lacks to spend is not a good idea on Java as well.
      Can you tell me do you have Honda CB350 available there in the market ? Let’s work it out for you, you can DM me on my Instagram handle with the same name you will find.

      @@boywithtravellingbag hondacb350 costs even more here 9 lakhs. Ig I have to settle with Meteor 350. It seems good from every aspect. Its price, availability, service centers, design, durability and comfortable bike. The only thing is that it doesn't have abs and if there was, it's price would have been higher. Is there gonna be huge problem if the bike don't have Abs?
      Also, is Jawa not good for long ride? Does its engine don't function that well if we ride it for long hours? I'd be glad to have a bike that could be with me for long years, I mean that is durable and functions well even after crossing years of riding.

      @@dr.sunflower6336 in this case, Meteor is the perfect recommendation for you because see, it is matching various points
      1. Servicing and repairing support
      2. Pricing
      3. Great comfort
      4. Your companion for long years and rides
      5. It’s the best looking motorcycle as well
      Yes, a little offset is not having ABS.
      ABS is important because brakes are important. Even I am thinking on this part because I won’t recommend you going without ABS. When you are in speed and sometimes it becomes difficult to stop this heavy motorcycle, a little difficult at times.
      I will get back to you on this after doing some research on it.

    Bhai I am confused I took test ride of both classic and meteor my height is 5,7 riding posture wise I likes classic gives more confident but meteor I felt more powerful and my feet touch ground easily but riding posture is uncomfortable may be because I never drive cruiser bike this was my first test ride my daily ride is 40 km most of the time in city and sometimes in high way which one should I go for . My friend got classic he said don't by the sound comes from here and there after 5000 km ride he is saying go for meteor .

    • @boywithtravellingbag
      @boywithtravellingbag  Год назад +1

      Your friend is guiding you right. Meteor will give you more plush ride, confidence and stability. You will be okay with the riding stance after few kilometres and you surely will thank to your friend because under 350 cc segment, meteor is a good choice to go with.
      Dekho, nayi bike hai, total naya hai isme Sab kuch, aur successful bhi ho gyi hai, tried and tested. Aur technical cheezo ne bhi top karti hai.. without any confusion go for it 💐

    I own meteor. As you said, city cruising is very good in 3rd gear.
    Backrest is must
    Off-road tires are not good on road, as meteor is mainly road bike, we are good
    Battery cover is of poor quality and easily breaks.

    I would like to further add in cons (I) cheap quality fuel tank cap (plastic) and plastic is used in body of the bike which is not traditional feature of RE bikes (ii) Front disc size is small and ABS is not reliable check in the same segment Honda highness Yezdi roadster have more reliable ABS (iii) Power and torque is not as expected from 350 cc engine (iv) RE should shift from halogen to LED as meteor is a cruiser it should have more features but in the name retro feel RE is making Ch****a to everyone (v) Ceat tyres are used to reduce cost which is not expected after paying 2.5 lac below MRF Zapper not at all expected

      It seems you are criticising the motorcycle in very bad manner !
      As an automobile professional and being an owner of Meteor 350, I feel enough power, torque, quality standards at its best, it’s the best in segment !
      However, I respect your view ! 👆

    • @jayantmeena2784
      @jayantmeena2784 Год назад +1

      I like it's comfort, looks mileage and yes I am criticising those things which I don't like about meteor a power of 20.4 is not at all best.. in same segment power delivery of 30 PS is available because of low power and torque mileage is improved (>35 Kmpl) and that 3 rd gear speed range but while cruising power and torque matters

    • @boywithtravellingbag
      @boywithtravellingbag  Год назад +3

      @@jayantmeena2784 Every product has its own plus and negatives, that’s how a person selects on the basis of facts. You are comparing with maximum figures, and I am saying it on the basis of what is required which is for regular use. Meteor has all the capabilities which doesn’t go off, low or cause any discomfort.
      Moreover, it’s a low rpm motorcycle and I hope you are aware of how a low rpm motorcycle functions. That’s how it’s the best cruiser motorcycle in the segment.

    • @jayantmeena2784
      @jayantmeena2784 Год назад +4

      I do agree with you and I understand being an owner of RE bike it is difficult to hear cons about engine but it is also a fact those maximum figures are available with more features in same price segment now a days that's why I am criticising. It's my personal view when you are looking for a cruiser and paying more than 2 lacs it's your right to demand power, torque and rpm... only comfortable sofa seat does not deserve that much amount.

    • @boywithtravellingbag
      @boywithtravellingbag  Год назад

      @@jayantmeena2784 I made this video to shout out loud for its cons too, it means that I can hear the problems as well. But , I feel buyers are looking for the numbers but not the requirement. So here confusion starts. Well, it’s okay if you or anyone doesn’t feel it’s an absolute bike to have. Because, everyone has a different point of view but I just want to conclude in short now, this is completely a value for money motorcycle which will not give you any kind of ‘low feel’ on roads.
