CocoXo Actually, his wife passed. This was the first show after that. And if you look at the video where they played Nude that same day. Thom broke down at the end
Holy crap. I didn't think they'd ever play this again. Especially since Thom was so pissed at himself during the 2009 Live at Reading show, when his voice cracked during the sustained high note. This performance of it blew me away! Thom if you ever read comments on these videos, You still got it baby!!! Side note: I have not ever seen Radiohead live, and if I did, I would NEVER be one of those people who screams endlessly at the band to play Creep. That is blatantly out and out rude! For they have a huge catalog of amazing songs!! WELL DONE RADIOHEAD! You are blowing your fans away with your live show and this is just your 3rd! I can't wait to see and hear whats to come! Love to Radiohead! Thank you Olive Toulouse for capturing and posting this!!!
I think his voice cracked in 2009 because it was the first song they played, and it was pretty cold outside. Of course playing this as an encore is no big deal, but starting off with it is rough.
i also have the same thought. thought the reading show was the last time. cause he seems very pissed. :") but he really nailed it huh! I'm so amazed by this ;"
> I would NEVER be one of those people who screams endlessly at the band to play Creep. Oh man Jeff Mangum Vancouver people did this the whole damn show. It was a little tiny venue and you could tel he was getting pissed because of it.
Those who were there are so lucky!! I mean they are the first people to hear Thoms' magical voice singing the masterpiece in 7 years! But a moment of silence for those who left before the encore...(highly doubt that there were though)
I can understand why they hate playing this song. Imagine you're Radiohead, and you've spent the past two decades creating new and innovative music, and all your fans want to hear is that crappy, whiny alternative hit from 1993.
I think they've warmed to it a bit now, and don't hate it. They hated it around Kid A/Amnesiac time due to irritation that people were after their hits, when Radiohead wanted to go in a totally different direction, it was played quite a few times in the HTTT tour, and scattered about the In Rainbows tour. Fan adoration for seeing it live I think is more for saying that they were there, than it being their favourite Radiohead track.
See, their later tracks may be godly (especially their latest album) But this song is really good too So don't try to ride a bandwagon of hate. They hated it back then. I don't think they hate it anymore. I mean he's totally grooving to it.
Paranoid Android 2. Weird Fishes 3. 2+2=5 4. Let Down 5. Black Star 6.Fake Plastic Trees 7. Just 8. i might wrong 9. Myxomatosis 10.
I love this song, and I'm a huge fan of pretty much all of their discography, Pablo Honey to AMSP, but hearing this song live now is likely killing these guys; they seem so uninterested in the song, knowing how much they hate it, and how slow the fucking song is live nowadays, which I wouldn't blame them for.
fake plastic trees, idioteque, paranoid android, pyramid song, street spirit, karma police, how to disappear completely, house of cards...I could go on and on
or he doesn't like the other songs, which is fine. Although saying none of the other songs aren't "worth a damn" if definitely not correct from a purely objective viewpoint
Sometimes I wonder why bother playing this song anymore... aren't the hardcore true Radiohead fans who think this song is beneath them anyways since they went all experimental
How are you supposed to properly "feel" the song and its meaning whilst crying their lyrics out loud as if they were the national anthem after winning the world cup??? O.o
He did it! the absolute madman!
his manic laugh in the beginning omg. it's obvious they hate playing this song, but I think Thom's recent breakup inspired him to do this song live
He was sing the lyric to "decks dark".
CocoXo Actually, his wife passed. This was the first show after that. And if you look at the video where they played Nude that same day. Thom broke down at the end

I think his voice cracked in 2009 because it was the first song they played, and it was pretty cold outside. Of course playing this as an encore is no big deal, but starting off with it is rough.
That makes a lot more sense. Thanks!
i also have the same thought. thought the reading show was the last time. cause he seems very pissed. :") but he really nailed it huh! I'm so amazed by this ;"
I have read where people were doubting Thom's vocals and the strength of his voice. Seems to me he has proven the naysayers are wrong. Yay Thom!
> I would NEVER be one of those people who screams endlessly at the band to play Creep.
Oh man Jeff Mangum Vancouver people did this the whole damn show. It was a little tiny venue and you could tel he was getting pissed because of it.
You should add the year to the title just to make it more clear how 'fucking special' this is.
HAHAAHA you so jelly right nowwww soo good yes miamiamiam
+Fractal-cat nah I was making a lyric pun. "you're so fucking special, but I'm a creep"

Wow...I can't believe they played it.

And all the feels from when this song was heard the first time come rushing back
Those who were there are so lucky!! I mean they are the first people to hear Thoms' magical voice singing the masterpiece in 7 years! But a moment of silence for those who left before the encore...(highly doubt that there were though)

Gran sorpresa para Paris. Grandes Radiohead /,,/

It's not crappy at all honestly, it's a good radio grunge track. Doesn't compare to their later stuff but it's a great ''normal'' song.
See, their later tracks may be godly (especially their latest album)
But this song is really good too
So don't try to ride a bandwagon of hate.
They hated it back then.
I don't think they hate it anymore. I mean he's totally grooving to it.
To understand and contemplate Radiohead, you know, creep is one of the most important songs...

10. There There en vivo

Oh, look. Radiohead disliked this.
EMOTION
paris lucky as
As what? The suspense is killing me.
as lucky as i am going to be.. smoking dmt.. on top of an apple tree..
Dishonour There's a special place in Hell for people like you.

MY FAVORITE SONG...........IVE GROWN OLD A BIT....BUT IM STILL A CREEP.....
2:23 I hear a shots.. Smolensk We remember (*)

Looks like Thom actually enjoyed the song for once :3
OK, need to play it at least once more! I won't say when and jinx it.
It's the only Radiohead song worth a damn and everyone knows it.
Maybe only you know that.
fake plastic trees, idioteque, paranoid android, pyramid song, street spirit, karma police, how to disappear completely, house of cards...I could go on and on
Sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, would suck.
or he doesn't like the other songs, which is fine. Although saying none of the other songs aren't "worth a damn" if definitely not correct from a purely objective viewpoint
You meant subjectively. Objectively, "beep bop beep bop" under moaning is not music.
I don't care if it hurts, I just want to have control...
Not the last encore, they concluded with "Pyramid song".
Is it possible that it's the last encore, but not the last song...?
Hahahaha ahaha ahh ah.. what? no way! ( *crying*)
fuckin hell
Sometimes I wonder why bother playing this song anymore... aren't the hardcore true Radiohead fans who think this song is beneath them anyways since they went all experimental
Sorry if parts of my mind exploded all over you.
How are you supposed to properly "feel" the song and its meaning whilst crying their lyrics out loud as if they were the national anthem after winning the world cup??? O.o
great but thom looks embarrassed for first half of it. no surprises more exciting
Xo
Manolo.
?????????????????
hes not feeling it i think xD
no,yorke always feel this song
Who pushed unlike?
Please Radiohead, don't play this song ever again. It's so boring. Your new stuff is way better.
dude they play it like once every 5 years, a tribute to the song that got them famous
You are so boring. And, oh yeah, I'm sure they're listening and care what you think.
Cry some more plebs. Your tears are all so salty.
attrib You're the one complaining, dumbass.
