@@Lloyd_Christmas11 lol you dont have to be gay to appreciate another man's looks. be secure enough in your own masculinity that you're able to compliment other men without feeling gay or whatever.
There is ALOT of history behind this specific performance of Creep in Paris: The band hated playing Creep, because they felt like it limited their creativity and what people accepted them for. So for years, they just refused to perform Creep live. Two days before this very performance, Radiohead was playing in Amsterdam, and some random kid was yelling "Creep!" in the crowd. Normally ignored, in this case, the guitarist started playing a few chords of the infamous song, rousing up the audience. More importantly, it lit a fire in the lead singer, who hated the song the most (because it was about him). So imagine if you will, years of Radiohead fans just understanding that when you attend a Radiohead concert, you won't hear Creep played. However on this night, one seemingly no different than others, something just clicked, and they decided to finally embrace this legend of a song again. THIS is part of why the audience was so damn receptive to it being played. Not necessarily because they're just such big fans, but because they're part of a special moment and they KNEW IT.
The ability to grow as artists and embrace the fact the song was no longer about him but about all of us fans is proof Radiohead has finally reached zenith.
The crowd is spectacular... I would give one of my balls to be able to be in a moment like that... I've listened to this song thousands of times, and still tears of joy stream from my eyes so often when I listen to it again...

Actually guys I think you're a bit mistaken here. Thom's does not look irritated by the fans' reaction and singing at the end. He looks happy and... touched - as emotional inside as we could ever see Mr Yorke get:D After all these years, thousands of people are still singing their hearts out with him, knowing every single word of the lyrics about something he wanted to forget about... But while singing the bridge with the crowd it doesn't seem to matter. What an amazing gig.
I get why they hate (or did hate) that song. But they have to realize how important of a song it was for so many people. And in my opinion it is one of the greatest songs of its era. So, to see it again live from them is awesome.
Yeah, all generations seem to feel they can relate to it...so there will always be new fans, discovering them and feeling that this song is still relevant. (Although, Thom had said, way back in some early interview, that he was totally "takin the piss" when he wrote it...and was surprised a bit, when pple missed the sarcasm in the song. But, he said it was fine if they viewed it's meaning, or took it to heart, in another way.)
I think the band has come to embrace the song as an important part of their legacy and as something beloved by their fans. And that was after avoiding it for years. They played it more times in 2016-17 than they did in the entire preceding decade. (I think.)

Second of all, you can't hear him singing because the crowd is singing over him, you know, not trying to listen to him at all. It got so bad that he couldn't even hear himself in his in ear monitors anymore, which is why they had to stop the song. Also, Thom hates this song, seeing as why he hasn't played it in 20 years. There's a bold line between singing along while a performer is doing a song and then completely ruining it by screaming it without a care, not caring if you block out the musician's singing.
Dante Eleuterio He also looks extremely fed up and pissed off.
Do u know the date of this performance? Is it after April 2016?
7 yrs ago, 7 million views and 70 thousand people liked this video
I remember social media literally freaking out at finding out this happened. I happened to be looking at Twitter and everyone was just "RADIOHEAD PLAYED CREEP?!"
This was a nice performance. I loved watching it when he was younger, and it was about his angst. Now this version, he includes the crowd much more. and they feed off it. Great job.
why is this song so freaking goooood
That was magical. He looked like he was having so much fun with it and the crowd loved it. I think it’s so great when a band encourages their audience to join in. THATS A FUCKING CONCERT. If you want pure go get a studio version🙏🙏
I to understand the heart break of this song for the band. I lost my mother in December and my dad in may. What a heart break. Thank you for continuing .
Dawnalee Bellis I lost my dad and my daughter.
I know how it feels...
I'm destroyed... all the best🙏
ele canta essa música , exatamente com a mesma intensidade de 2 décadas atrás . A emoção que ele transmite é a mesma.
2023/BR
Goosebumps every time I hear this song. What a legend!!!
Tom maravilhoso 😌🎧🎧🎧
Banda maravilhosa ❤️❤️❤️
Música incrível 😍😍😍
4:26 "Oh god it's finally over"
Why radioheads hates creep?
Ardie Dilao it was their most popular song. They got incredibly tired and bored of playing the same song over and over again for years. Additionally Thom Yorke actively dislikes this song, as it was written at a time in his life where he was depressed and uncomfortable.
@@LukeDHarrison2002 he is still depressed man
dimitrisphvnk yeah, I just meant he was more depressed then than he is now👍🏻
@@LukeDHarrison2002 also they got in several concerts during 2 years to promote pablo honey and specially this song, so they were playing the same songs for 2 years with no chances to write more
First time they had played this in ages .... However, Jonny's face at 2016 Lollapalooza is still absolutely EPIC Radiohead
He doesn't lose his incredible voice-
How i love his smile at the end
Estoy enamorada de este hombre 😍😍😍😍
Legend still arround here with us
I’ve never seen that guy smile on stage , especially on this song that the band was tired of playing since 25 years ( in 2016 ) , a quarter of a century ! ....Paris is special .
still sounds damn good after all these years. IMPRESSIVE/MUCH RESPECT!
guitarist glitches tf out at 2:25
🤣 oh shit!!
Hahahahaha
Lol he is soo fast
Johnny calm down
lmao bruhh
Nunca dejaré de escucharla que linda música 🇪🇨saludos desde Ecuador
i never thought they'd ever do this song
i melted with that smile in the last sec, the cheer in crowd after the song matters..
Nice to see Thom can have fun playing this song after so many years.
So 90's and when I was a senior in high school. My best friend sang this at a talent show and all the girls were all going crazy! Lol I sure miss him and his voice with music 😌
Adoro essa música ! Show ! Música boa não tem data de validade ! Para sempre ! Creep !
Love it, seen them a couple of times and haven't been so lucky as this to be on the playlist ! Also, big up to Thom for actually singing it all; so many artists stop singing and just listen to the audience singing along [to their best known songs] and I always think, brilliant, if I'd wanted to hear some numptie singing it I could have gone to karaoke or an open-mic night !
Wuaoo!! Que canción tan desgarradoramente bella , el sonido de la.guitarra es como si se partiera el corazón al ver correr a la mujer especial
You can hear the excitement of the crowd not expecting to hear that song at all
