Mayra, there were many occasions when I wanted to go up to you and hug you. I walked pass by you a few times at the NICU. I didn’t know what was going on, all I knew was that you and I were both grieving having our babies in the NICU. At the end of my baby’s stay, Brayncito was his neighbor. I never thought you would have had the outcome you had. I also couldn’t stand the doctor, she made me feel helpless, but all the doctors and nurses were amazing. I prayed for you everyday. I’m so sorry 😭

Watching in 2024…on September 2nd. I wish I could tell this Mayra and Bryan all of the blessings they had to come. That they would not always be in the state of confusion in this video. Bryancito’s legacy will live through you guys. Your grief is proof of his existence.

My brother passed at 40 weeks. Full term and he passed as a stillborn. My mom didn’t open his room for a whole year… take time to heal. Heal and grief. There’s no rush… I’m praying for you all. This is an unbearable pain. Much love to you both..🤍

My husband and his ex-wife lost their baby many years ago, and every bday or day of her passing is still equally as painful for both of them, just as if it had happened now. As he has told me, it’s not something you overcome, it’s something that changed you and you learn to survive in a new way without them. This year I found an Etsy store that sells comfort bears. They make them to a specific weight and come with the baby’s name and bday or day of passing, or both. I bought them both one. They said it was so comforting to feel her weight again. My husband said to me that laying the bear on his chest when he missed her the most helps him feel close to her. ♥️ My prayers are with you and your family.
Thank you for doing that for them! As a mom who lost her son I can’t tell you how much we appreciate those type of gestures 🥺❤️

Don’t diminish what you’re going to through because someone else “has it worse.” Both of your feelings are valid! You don’t always have to be strong, it’s ok to break down, feel your feelings and when you’re ready get up and going. Grief is a tricky thing, it’s not a one time and you’re done, it will hit you when you least expect it. Praying for you guys!🤍

Absolutely. I lost my son at 28 weeks and I thought I didn’t have a right to my grief because other moms lost their babies at birth. I really did a disservice to myself.

@@mayradeeaz8395 thank you. I really appreciate it. My saving Grace was 2 older boys and 2 rainbow babies afterwards. It’s been 16 years and he is still very much a part of our family and will never be forgotten, but I no longer live in the pain, like in the beginning.
This is why I become a NICU nurse. I love my babies that I get to take care of every shift. This is so heartbreaking and hard to watch. I want to be able to provide my families with as much support and love as I can during hard times. Being in the NICU it’s a special environment. It’s a lot of happiness and sadness at the same time. Small wins make everything worth it in the end. Every milestone we take pride in. I’m sorry for your loss. I can never imagine but I hope I can be that one difference for the babies and families. For reals! I saw it on her comments on her Instagram and I was like huh? Even if it’s true it’s not their place to say and only they can say it, people really went looking for they obituary because someone linked it in the comments section as well. I also did see a RUclips channel post the obituary and I had to report because it wasn’t theirs to say. I do feel for the both of them and the pain in their eyes and in their hearts is only something god can heal. May god be with you 💗

Oh mama! I’m so sorry for your loss! As a mama that had 5 stillbirths, 2 miscarriages & a micropreemie 27 weeker now 19 yrs old, your heartbreak will get easier. Take your time to heal physically, mentally & emotionally. Take your time going through your sons things, there is no time limit. Hold onto each other, keep the communication open with each other & don’t shut each other out. Hugs & prayers to you both! God bless you all.

I lost my baby girl 6 years ago. It'll be 7 this December. I held her for three days & I was able to dress her before her service as well. You don't know how much your soul needs it, and mine needed it. I'm sorry you didn't have privacy during your time of need. I know no words could ever take your pain. ❤️

I’m so sorry guys. I completely understand your pain. My husband and I lost our first baby at 22 weeks pregnant, 9/17/12. I went through the same thing at 24 weeks, my baby was only alive for 20 mins and it was so terrible! You are not alone the feeling of losing a part of you is terrible but you are so strong… we got this and you got this ❤️❤️❤️

But it’s only when one is going through the trials where believe it or not you can find your strength you thought you never had and how in the end you acknowledge that you can’t make it on your own🤍
Praying for y'all Mayra! It is true! Thanks for bringing NICU awareness. When you are a preemie mommy, it scares your life forever. I had 31 week twin boys. It is the hardest I have faced in life. They are 7 and I'm pretty sure I have PTSD and I have not felt ready to conceive again.
I cried through this entire video. It brought back all the memories of losing my son in May of 2021 at 26 weeks. I'm grateful to you both for making this video because premature, miscarriages and stillborn are such taboo topics that ppl don't wish to talk about. I lost my first baby boy at 18 weeks pregnant too. I’m still coupling he would be 2 years I miss him but I’m great full because if we hadn’t lost him we wouldn’t have our second baby boy when my son was born I felt like I couldn’t be happy now my baby is going to be a year old on Monday

I’m so so sorry for your loss! Créeme se lo que se siente, yo pase por lo mismo se siente estar muerta en vida que tu mundo se a derrumbado. Yo entre en una gran depresión que deseaba morir y me dio un paralice fácil. Ya hace más de un año y aún cierro mis ojos y puedo revivir todo lo que pases en esos momentos. Lo único que nos queda es agarrarnos de las manos De Dios y entender el porqué se los llevo. Yo no se si a ti te sirva esto a mi mi esposo me mando hacer una pulcera de oro. Pero agarro la idea de las pulceras que se llaman “ Baby Memorial Bracelet” y trai un quote Que dice “ I Will Hold You in my Heart Until I Hold You in Heaven” con charms colgando Que son un corazón, una ala de ángel, unos piecitos y una bolita de color mi esposo le dijo al joyero que envés de la bolita le pusiera un diamantito colgando y cada uno de los charms representa algo para mi. En el corazón escriben es quote! La verdad eso me ayudó mucho a mi y no me la quitó para nada!!! Llevo a mi bebé en el corazón y en mi memoria pero cuando veo la pulsera me recuerda que un día estaré con el aya en el cielo para abrazarlo enternamente. Dios te bendiga y te de las fuerzas para seguir adelante. Animo a los dos mil bendiciones
I was pregnant just as you were the same weeks and all as you Mayra. I was praying I was rooting. I had faith. I cry with you. The pain of losing a child, and saying goodbye until the next time we meet again in heaven is one no parent should go through. I feel you, with all you say and feel is valid. After I lost my two sons I myself struggled mentally. It’s hard to grasp.
With this third pregnancy you and I were the same weeks. My boy was also a NICU baby. Let me tell you watching your journey gave me insight to what nicu was. Before my son was even in the nicu. Little did i know God was preparing me, I feel it in my heart. I had to see because it’s true what you say we are a part of a group no parent wants to be a part of. Your journey helped me get through mine. Helped me not be too afraid and look up more about nicu and inform myself. So thank you for sharing and being so vulnerable, during the most heartbreaking time of both of yours life. Bryancito rest in peace, and thank you baby boy for showing some of us along with your mommy and daddy how real and raw life is. Blessings love and prayers for both of you and your family.

Don't rush the process this goes in stages . Its very hard but as some one who went through the same thing with my twins i can honestly tell you it gets better. Go through the grieving stages. Talk with your husband with family that helps alot. I wish you peace

Girl let me tell you, the fact that y’all are making this video shows how brave y’all are ❤️ im a mom to a 23 weeker, he fought for his life and came home after 6 months. Not only did I have to learn to be a mom, I had to learn to be a special needs mom. Those 6 months were so traumatic, that years later I was diagnosed with PTSD. I literally have flashbacks every single day of all the trauma we went through. I have not spoken a single word about it, I have not healed. This was so sad to watch, I cried with you the entire time. I cannot imagine your pain. In my own fertility journey this is one of my fears for when I finally have a pregnancy that lasts longer than the first trimester. My husband and I lost our baby girl to her being born prematurely and she also passed away after a long month of fighting for her life! You are not alone and I love you guys so much!!! It’s so beautiful at the end how your faces lights up when you talk about him! You guys are still mom and dad even if baby boy is not here. And it’s ok to have time that you just want to cry and do nothing. You are still healing from a big traumatic experience. Stay strong, I lost my twin daughters because I went into labour at 24 weeks 11 years ago. You never forget, but you learn to accept that God knows what is best. Praying for you guys 🙏🏻🥺 Believe me I know how hard it is!

I had identical twins at 26 weeks and literally delivered in my moms bed unplanned she is a paramedic but my daughter Selena had already passed her sister was born 1.5lbs and I lived in the nicu for so long as well this was 8 years ago. The pain is unbearable at times her urn sit in my living room. The funeral made it harder but felt necessary. I just watched your new pregnancy announcement and I’m beyond excited for you. Congratulations..enjoy every moment.

My heart goes out to you both. This is never an easy thing to say much less being influencers and having to explain to strangers the loss you’ve gone through. I just want you two to never loose hope. My mom, she had 12 miscarriages before having me. The year before finding out about me she had my sister premie at 5 months, she passed a month later. It took my parents 15 years to be able to have me. And then had 2 more miscarriages after me. I’m always told I’m daily reminder of a miracle to them and the hope they never lost after so many losses. Please don’t loose your hope God’s timing is perfect. 🙏🏼❤️
