I want to say how much I truly appreciate the fact that you don’t pick sides on this channel. I consider myself a patriot who loves my country more than the division it is caused. I’ve always been middle ground on everything. I strongly believe that there will be foreign influence. I personally have requested the day off as a vacation day the day after the election.
I strongly suggest Chris listen to the 2 hour interview Tucker did with former State Dept official Mike Benz to educate himself on the true international propaganda landscape. Americans are the MOST propagandized population in the world and it's NOT because of Benny Johnson and Tim Pool.
That would be just the beginning of the education process.
When foreign entities are allowed to buy up American farmland and ship the crops back to their homeland. This should be considered treason on the part of those allowing it .
The problem is that America isn't a nation anymore, its a corporation.
NO. The U.S. has countless companies/industries mining, drilling, capturing resources, et cetera, and reaping gargantuan profits from any country they are in. It is a reciprocating machine.

What else would they do? We have all known for years China does not have the farmland to support their population. It doesn't take a genius to see this coming. Of course, our lawmakers are far from geniuses.

Every morning, I wake up, I am so blessed that I bought these 3.5 acres about 9 years ago. To have the ability to grow a portion of my own food gives a sense of peace and independence. Other than the house, the most important asset is the fresh water well. Water is life. The other is the abundance of trees that surround me. Ten years ago, some of my family teased me saying that when I retired from the army, I just wanted to be an 'old dooms-day grump' and live back in the trees somewhere. Now they are beginning to realize I wasn't so much of a far-off Dooms Dayer in wanting to do so. I have built a greenhouse wherein I raise herbs to flavor my food. I have built a walk-in generator shed that, when necessary, I do not need to be subjected to a deluge of rain or sub- zero temperatures to manage the generator. Next year the chicken coop. Slowly but surely, I am progressing to be as self-reliant as possible. I firmly believe we are entering into the greatest depression this nation has ever experienced. Far more devastating than 1929-1946. More people live in cities now. The dynamics have completely reversed. Two weeks ago, I dug up the potatoes. Next year I will grow much more of them. Get prepared in any way or at any level you are able. Even if you can grow enough for a dozen meals. That's more than having nothing at all.

Get some meat rabbits they can eat grass in chicken tractor style cages u move each day or so they are the easiest meat u can get
@@Darthdoodoo Thanks for that reminder. I will be doing that soon. I am moving and cannot take my awesome chicken tractor, but will build one for the chicks and for some rabbits when I get settled. Rabbit meat is great...tastes like chicken. ; )
Thanks also for the idea of a walk-in generator shed. I'm short...so it can be really short. Could build it sort of like a chicken tractor with wheels on one end so it can be moved around, if needed, as the generator is moved around the property for use. Use a wood pallet for the floor to keep it out of the mud.
I have been a gardner for over 50 years. I canned meat, fruits, vegetables and froze a lot. I dehydrate a great deal. A move 4 years ago within the same growing zone , has brought me to my knees! There is a microclimate in this area that makes gardening a whole new ball game. I have been improving the soil each year and this year was slightly better but the last 3 gardens were the worst I ever had. I also added a small countertop hydroponic garden thus year and am amazed at how productive it is. Especially love it for greens. I live a loooong way from a major grocery store and visit it only every few months,, so having fresh greens available all the time is great. I can stock supplies for it but they wouldn't last a real long time, for now though it has improved our diet considerably. I also grow sprouts and microgreens indoors. The point of this is garden NOW. Even if its just a tomato in a bucket! And never, ever, give up!
What countertop micro garden do you suggest?
Where do you get your seeds, please? I plan on doing indoor growing as soon as I get settled into a new house.
@@deawallace3584 I assume you are referring to the microgreens and sprouting seeds? You can generally buy microgreens in seed packets but I usually buy mine in bulk because it is cheaper. Look for a food cooperative or 7th Day Adventist ( these are open to the public food co ops are often found in college towns or bears Adventist churches even in small towns) store to buy by the ounce or fraction thereof....alfalfa seeds are like you find on salad bars (and can often be found in bags at supermarkets, as can chia and flax)...these are my favorite, good on salads, sandwiches, eggs. Mung beans are the white ones you find in Chinese food, such as foo yung or egg rolls. You can sprout almost any untreated seed, grains, beans,vegetables (beets, spinach or other greens,) lentils, peas, even herbs such as dill seed.. ..an internet search should provide you with information (some bean sprouts need a brief cooking) and sources for mail order. My preferred method of sprouting is in mason jars with a mesh lid....you need various sizes of mesh as seeds range from very tiny to pea and bean sizes. Hope this helps.

I have two Aerogarden units. I can start lettuce every two or three weeks, alternating units, to keep the lettuce coming continuously.
I am sorry, Chris. You are completely wrong about Tim Pool. You do not sound unbiased, you are completely biased because you failed to actually read the indictment that the DOJ released and it states that Tim Pool and other creators were the actual victims. Also, you used a 5 second clip from his segment that is spreading around the internet that is completely out of context. I thought you were better than that but unfortunately I was wrong. My suggestion if you are going to cover political issues, maybe read into things before reporting on them or just focus on prepping.

My husband and I were driving around our small town and was amazed that so few homes had gardens in their yards. Nice pretty landscaping, but nothing to eat. I'm getting older so don't have a lot of energy to work outside, but I spend my energy on my garden, fruit trees, herbs, and berries.

Its because a lot of people dont have the energy to do that these days
that will change if we get into a recession, and they get hungry.
Our HOA tried to sue us for putting in a garden, it was a long fight! Nieghborhood and local rules probably has something to do with it, too

Kris, please read the actual indictment. It actually says that the only people who knew was Lauren Chen and Husband (possibly not even them) and admits that it doesn't seem like anyone else knew at all. Regarding Tim Pool show The Culture War, it is only licensed through Tenet to be shown on their channel. They dont make it or edit it or have anything to do with it. I respect your decision to mostly stay out of politics. However, this is a very political happenstance with situations behind it that it appears you know nothing about. This could even be retaliation for a defamation lawsuit Tim Pool is bringing against the Kamala Harris campaign. Even if that is not the case, how many election cycles are we going to have propaganda like this be spread, then to find out it wasn't true, but came from the inside? I know I'm tired of it. Thanks for what you do, and I'll always watch your channel, but this time, Even though you tried not to show a side, the fact that you don't seem to have read the indictment shows through your words on the story, at least it sure sounds that way. As someone who does watch Tim Pool, who is a centrist for the most part, the 5 second clip you played doesn't tell the whole story of his opinion on Ukraine. Overall, Tim's channel is a very good source for news. After that, everyone is allowed their opinion and Tim is very clear what is fact and what is his opinion. I've tried three times to say a simple 'thanks' and my reply to my own comment now keeps being censored. Nothing new for YT these days. So idk if this will go through or not. But yeah, very disappointing, I had a lot of respect for Kris, and I'm trying to keep it, but this really missed the mark and was a very uniformed and biased take. I actually didn't expect this type of presentation from him at all. I can't remember the last time he used a clip from another show and never like this one was used, and so blatantly out of context to boot.

Thank you, Kris, for always keeping it real! You continue to be my "go to" prepping channel. There is so much going on in our world and we have no idea how it will all turn out. It is all very scary; I feel it's going to take a miracle to save us from all the threats that are out there.
Bottom line, we need to discern the days we’re living in. When heading out, stay aware of your surroundings and stay safe.
We need to start growing as much of our own food as we can! Both on big farms and in our own backyards!

No sun in my backyard..tried to grow things...not enough sun to grow anything except 1 okra pod. Can't cut down the trees either...HOA. nor would I want to. And I don't want to sell and move. It'll be what it will be

I live in north central Arizona and as a native Arizonian I can tell you that it has definitely gotten hotter and dryer over the past several years. We have had record heat and drought lately. I have a pretty good sized backyard garden which I have been working on for at least 15 years. I'm finding that what used to work, no longer does. I'm having to rethink and restructure my entire garden. I need to add shade structures and high tunnels to protect plants from heat stress. I am switching to planting in containers to reduce and contain water usage. I look for seed varieties for plants that are more heat tolerant. Now, for the first time, I am trying fall gardening to see if I can successfully grow plants that have failed me in the past. I freeze, can, and dehydrate what I grow so it's important to me to get this right. Thank you for all your information and thank you for sticking to the facts and for keeping politics out of it.
What's been sprayed in the air ?
Eugene has been hotter too. I gave up on planting in the ground. Planted in Large containers and put them in huge planters with an automatic sprinkler system. The squash turned out rock hard. Threw them out. The larger cucumbers were only edible in 1/3 of the middle. The smaller ones had to be peeled several times to get rid of the bitterness. The strawberries, Basil and rosemary are thriving. I put several pots in a kiddie pool that are shaded all day until 6:00 p.m.. just a few small veggies so far but hopefully they won't burn up. I'm making notes for next year.
I have a hydroponic system in the garage. Everything seems to be doing well there even though it gets extremely hot. My goal is to have a Large hydroponic system in the garage where I can open the door and flood the plants with sunshine. I can open the door to the house that stays. Very cool all day and circulate the cool in the garage when it gets extremely hot. last year my garage got up to 118°. It killed all the plants that I had put in it because my house was being painted. So far I have spent about 100 times more for organic soil, seeds And fertilizer then I have got in product. Losing project But I'm learning and hopefully can eventually make it work.
My brother built a nice greenhouse. He keeps a swamp cooler going all day on a timer. He also has a fan to circulate the air with outside air. Electricity isn't free And I wonder about the economics of that system.

@@rm-gh1co Go to "Growing in the Garden" RUclips channel. She is a master gardener in the Phoenix area. She has a lot of excellent videos on gardening in the heat. Also, look into Fall gardening. That's what I'm trying this year. There are lots of videos on that. Good luck.

One reason small farms are disappearing is that farmer's children don't want to continue farming.. parents die and they sell the farm to land developers, then apartments replace the corn fields.
That reason is 20 maybe 30 years old now.

The heat and lack of rain in the Southwest is a real concern. Water storage is crucial.
We have been hot and dry in the east as well. Our creeks are dry and dirt is so hard the yellow jackets are building nests above ground and are a real problem. Palnts have to be watered daily. My garden didn't do well this year. Hoping I can grow some things this winter in mini green houses and grow lights.

Yes I agree, and over here in Mutton Henry we are just entering our Crocheting season, which usually gets into full swing come October when our local priest drinks 5 bottles of grain whisky and usually vomits all over the Mayors wife's tits. Last year miss Doris Plank from the town library won the Crochet first prize with her Crocheted statue of Donald Trump which used polyester yarn for the hair.

Most people dont know where their food comes from or what it takes to actually grow food successfully. I started gardening during the pandemic and ive learned so much through trial and error,reading books and learning from seasoned gardeners. We had a heat wave that lasted a month. Plants were basically getting burned up and the stuff that didn't burn stopped producing.

It's hard! I bought shade cloth and it wasn't enough for some plants, but saved my stone fruit. Other seeds it was too hot for them to germinate. Drip lines helped cool other plants and they are thriving even with the heat, like my tomatoes and squashes. Get hoops and frost cloth and line 6 ml plastic from Home Depot, and resow for winter. I grew spinach, lettuce and arugula all winter. You can't seed late, but once it's all growing it will just slow down, just plant densely so you can harvest greens all winter.
I saw a short video the other day where A woman confessed that she just learned that she could pick and eat the lemons growing on a tree in her yard. She didn't know until a friend asked her why she was still buying lemons from the grocery store. What!!!!?

I'm glad you've been highlighting rainfall and humidity levels specifically. A warmer, moister atmosphere packs more thermal power into a smaller space, leading to stronger and more violent storms. If stronger tornadoes, stronger hurricanes, very heavy rain/snow and violent thunderstorms become a regular occurrence, crops will only be one of the things taking regular, difficult-to-prepare-for damage, in a system already stressed by overpopulation.
Our current warmer, moister atmosphere has a lot more to do with the Hunga-Tonga volcano eruption in January of 2022 than carbon dioxide or methane or fossil fuels. The number one 'greenhouse gas' by both volume and impact is and has always been water vapor, which humans have no control over. Carbon dioxide is not pollution, it is life-giving and is truly a greenhouse gas in that it is used by farmers in greenhouses to 'feed' the plants: they grow faster, use less water, and grow larger, too (at concentrations of 1200 ppm, whereas it's only about 450 ppm in ambient atmosphere). Many, many scientists around the world have demonstrated the various cycles of space weather and the effect the sun has on climate, weather and growing seasons. I heartily agree with Chris that we should prepare due to geopolitical machinations, and harden our homes for whatever weather will come our way. But humans have never and will never control the cycles of cold and heat, drought and floods. The information put forth by NOAA and NASA as well as the IPCC is so manipulated to adhere to their theories. I'm sure you've noticed how every prediction put forth by global warming/climate change alarmists for the last 50 years has not come to pass . I continue to prepare for food shortages, civil unrest, depression, and war. Quietly. And I will continue to listen to Chris, since whatever his motivation is, he gives good advice and walks the walk.
You literally just spread misinformation about Tim Pool and what’s going on with Tenet media, and then showed an out of context clip, and then preached to watch out for misinformation.
You did 5 mins of research on the subject and then put out a segment about it with the wrong information.

Tim Pool is the farthest thing away from a Russian influencer. Furthermore, he does not try to make Americans take a side. He simply reports the news and gives commentary on it. I have a political leaning, and sometimes I disagree with what he says. He’s not the main stream media that only sells one side.

Information mined from reliable sources and calmly presented for consideration is the rational approach that appeals to mature listeners, versus declaratory narrative aimed to incite and negate critical thinking. I like to think I'm skeptical, but I'm occasionally reminded that I let my guard down with certain sources. i also loved your comment about refusing to fight with your fellow countrymen. I try to approach everyone with a "positive intent" mindset, but can also get caught up in the moment, especially with things I feel are important. Thank you for the reminders 😊

And Chris admitted he’s watch about 5 minutes of Tim, and he has no clue about the connection between Tim and others with the woman who took money from Russia. I’m very disappointed that he doesn’t look into what he’s talking aboutmore. Chris claims to be unbiased or not to talk about politics, but he definitely gives an impression of his views by presenting low information opinions.

Agreed. This particular situation is one he should not have reported on as there is so much unknown information to do with it still. Im actually shocked he used a clip of Tim Pool in such a biased manner. Poor research was done on this still developing story, and he certainly thought it was fine for his opinion to be injected while seemingly saying not to listen to others opinions. Usually Kris has great integrity and unbiased takes, and Ill give him the benefit of the doubt on this one that it was a mistake on his part.

I’d say more the manipulation of the education system, cause that indoctrinates everyone. And gen z may seem lazy but that’s for a multitude of reasons. We all have strong muscle memory for sitting in a chair 8 hours a day for 70% of the year. If you spent most of your developing years using your god given legs daily, you might be more naturally spontaneous to do things like explore areas in your city and adventure out.
But it’s not just the school system. The boomer generation was made to desire things they wanted instead of being satisfied with what the need. So they looked at their millennial children as something that took away from them. They did not like their children because they were selfish. Now gen z has a bunch of traumatized parents that had to deal with their parents being assholes hooked on heroin, alcohol and other substances.
The heat is a real issue here in Texas. Our garden has stunted growth and very few crops. Flowers came on tomatoes, the heat hit, and there were no tomatoes. Now, we have created winking gardens, raised boxes lined with poly, a water pipe installed with river rocks on top, weed cloth, and topsoil amended with organic compost.
This has worked in the past, but not this year, just too hot.
Working on ideas to raise shade cloth over the beds, more to come later.
The farmers market is also low on veggies and the prices have risen.
Now we are getting rain and hoping for a second season.

As a native Houstonian, who has been through a vast many Hurricanes, this one terrified me. When the mayor said be prepared, I thought, yup I have my water, food, life necessities and batteries for 2 weeks. But when the mayor also said be prepared to be with out power, it was "say what"? We just had the Derecho storm that knock out power and managed for a long time. But this Hurricane Beryl knocked out 2.2 million people, for weeks. Houston, we have a problem. Our service provider dropped the ball. Even when other states were sending help, they (service provider) were clueless. News media have documented the poor decisions that were made at our expensive. My friends who had expensive In Line Gas Generators, found out quickly that they only work for a short time. In Line Gas Generators were never meant to last for days, even if you were using them on the low energy level. Lessons were learned quickly. We still have 2 more months of Hurricane season and then we have Ice Storms to prepare for. I now have a very small generator for fans/charging the cellphone. This is all I can afforded but it is better than nothing. Which is what the service provider did for me for 8 days.
After Hurricane Ike, we were without power for 15 days in Houston. We learned that power is restored first close to hospitals. As a result, the gas stations closest to the hospitals were the only ones able to pump gas. Also, people were stealing running generators at night by starting up a lawn mower to make a similar noise, disconnecting the generator, and making their getaway. By the time you wake up enough to realize the generator isn't working, it is long gone. We learned a lot about power outages. We moved out of Houston.

I watch or listen timcast IRL (Tim Poole's nightly show). You may not have watched long enough to get a feel of what he actually stands for. He is mostly libertarian but can be a bit over the top at times. I do find that a lot of what they talk about is actually very much in line with some of the stuff you talk about as far as prepping, getting away from the cities, and such. That said I always take things with a grain if salt but they do use News Guard certified sites most of the time when they are talking about news stories. I would encourage you to watch an entire episode to get a better picture of what he is about.
Giving an influencer money and putting it in their accounts is different than meeting an influencer and giving them information and money to make propaganda- that story seems like a misdirect

You should really research stories before making videos on them. You just played a clip from TimCast, not The Culture War. Tim Pools other show affected. TimCast is a different show. That clip has nothing to do the DOJ claims. Tim Pool is also listed the victim. He was paid for use of airing his own independent A political videos. You just cherry-picked clipped nonsense.
