    i think the Wolfram physics project attempts to demonstrate, that there are underlying processes in our physics which eventually result in life

    led bulbs are terrible, the light is awful, and they cost more, everyone goes on about efficiency, but if you life where i do, that 'waste heat' does not go to waste

    if you study the history of this planet, it's actually nearly died and been reborn several times, i suspect even if all life were removed from it, given time, it would happen again

    About the llms responding better when you say please over when using all caps.
    Would you say its because the llms are trained on data written by people to people where please may be used more commonly in the context the majority of people are asking questions about? I also wonder if the llms have a poor representation of the uses of all caps because in sample data all caps typing is not always using the same logic as regular?

    Wi-Fi is better than it used to be, practically speaking, but it is and always will be very inefficient from and energy point of view, it's just pumping 99 percent of it's energy into the air

    when the cell phone first came out, if you connected with a tower that was owned by a third party, they would charge you up the wazoo for doing that

    how does this productive genius have time to ramble on for an hour to make a video that nobody watches? i feel somewhat lucky :)
