I think for the chorus the beat is the same as then one u play at the beginning of the song. At least that's how I play it a here it. But u probably have a lot more experience than I do in Drummond as I have only been doing it for a couple months lol.

Yep yep! I always try to do a slow-ish one first but I don’t want it to get too boring for people that get it quickly - different strengths and weaknesses. Maybe you can use RUclips’s 0.5 or 0.75 speed to slow thing down for you!

I keep having trouble with the hi hat parts, i always end up playing along with the three drum hits, instead of letting the first drum hit stand alone. Any tips for that?

+Dave Strider There's no magic fix for that unfortunately. My best advice is to go really, really slowly so your brain has heaps of time to tell your limbs what to do. Eventually that will become faster and easier and you'll get back up to tempo with the song.
The only good thing about coordination challenges like this is that they DO get easier the more you do them, so if you nail the independence in this song it will make the next song that little bit easier! Stick with it and good luck!!!

Wow, how do you tune your kick like that?

I do love the kick on my kit. I usually have something like an Evans EQ3 on it, tune it low so that it's just tighter than wrinkling and have a pillow in the bottom touching both the batter and resonant head. Also of course, in this video there's a microphone on the kick which definitely helps to tighten up the sound as well.

+Jackson Bolle Nope! At this tempo I reckon you can get it done with a single. Put your heel up a little and use two surfaces of your foot (ball of your feet and toes, or toes and heel, or back of toes and ball) to get those quicker notes in. Practice up and I hope it goes well!
