Very nice Merc wagon. Its no E55 AMG wagon like the one Alex from #LegitStreetCars has, but its fine, with a great engine and once this wagon's restored, it'll be glorious!
Great score Mike, I hope there is no floor damage, which might be causing your seat issue but if there is a few hits with a 8 lbs sledge hammer after heating the area with a torch might put them back to their original postions. I feel the proper name for the car should be one that is uncommon, just like the car. Metilda Benz.
@0:38 It looks like a W124 waggon. I once was driven in a W124 waggon taxi in 1996 but I live in kraut country. @3:58 Exactly, the loading fee is not cheap and those guys seem to get paid well, so you should expect no unnecessary damage. 🙂 @20:39 Yeah, but it is almost 500 with fees. @21:06 Not exactly road worthy but really cheap. 👍 @21:45 Brunhild.
Hey mike hook the battery up and put the key in the door lock and lock then unlock 2 times . That shuts the alarm off . If does not work in drivers door try passengers door or trunk .
Great to see you so excited MWM, Sweet Sally is her name , just a happy name for a happy man , lol . Great video Mike, bring her back to life , you have $300.00 minus diesel for Randy's pickemup truck , lol , looking forward to the next one , peace
The alarm changing pitch when the car started up is hilarious. This one is a real hooptie. The key ignition issue would make it a perfect candidate for those push button kits. You could add remote start to it!
So your Bike sale bought a car. Exciting. Drove to Cow town Sorry that’s what we called Conway,Arkansas for an old 1995 Mercedes. Your going to open a used dealership for all these. Thanks, Mike. 💯👍
Hey Mike, Call her Bernadine. I say that because in the movie "Waiting To Exhale", at the end, Angela Bassett plays Bernadine(a divorced housewife who won the settlement) Part of her divorce settlement, was a 1995 Mercedes Benz E320 Wagon. Actually it was the same color as yours. Her and her friends were all in the car, riding around during a night outing.
This are my favorite cars. In the 90's my father had a taxi company in the Netherlands the best cars whe had where the standard w124 200diesel nonturbo slow 4 Cilinder no options no electric windows 4gear manual transmission top speed 160km/h the last for 1,5milion kilometers over 10years low run coast. Super nice driving cars. Now i drive a w204 c280 v6 Elegance
This is a special episode for me and I'm unbelievably excited you bought this car. I have posted this before but I will again since it's been a while but you were one of the main reasons behind me wanting to get an older Benz. I bought my 94 E320 wagon from Copart on a whim and sight unseen from Atlanta GA and drove it back home to VA in 2020 and I have been daily driving it since 2021. The car isn't perfect and needs a front bumper and has some passenger side damage but I am about to hit 230k miles (bought with 216k) and it has never let me down, not even once. I have done all the maintenance so far on my own with zero prior experience outside of changing oil on an old Corolla. Super excited to see what you do with this one and please, keep up the good work!
Note: I hadn't started the video prior to posting that and I am 12 minutes in and so jealous you got this one. Such great potential, though a lot of work, and I LOVE that black interior!
I’m so excited for this. Love the love for an estate. These things always make me think “a snooty professor drives that” so I’d name it Bertram. Just sounds like a cigar and a flat cap.
Hey Mike, nice content as alsway, the T stands for tourism , the way Mercedes saw the estate for travelling upper class families with luggage instead of using it for transportation of goods...
Great steal! literally. I feel like you’re right about it being stolen. I can’t wait for the restoration of this car!!! ❤❤ Margret, Shiela, or even Byron
I’m almost willing to bet the seats are leaning because of floor damage from lifting the car so many times with forklifts (seen it happen to one of my W115’s that was illegally towed 20 years ago and I got it back from the yard it was located. They brought it to the front by forklift instead of letting me just go get it and drive it out). The lawsuit bought me 3 more MB’s and I still have the W115 but had to replace the floor myself 😊
The first thing I said to myself when I saw the back end of this wagon was... "Is that a Chevy Citation?" I love old wagons and this one should be an interesting series.
G'afternoon Mike ☕☕ 😎 . Congrats on a great score. I think some form of "The Wagon'ness" would be a great name, especially following the Barbie car 😋 .. the cherry on top is the fact she not only runs and drives but she also has keys and a new lock cylinder 🤠 ...
Love it! That is an absolute steal Mike, the wheels alone are worth $125+. It's fully loaded too, self levelling suspension, sunroof , a/c, electric seats, has the glorious bigger 3.2 straight 24v engine, leather and apart from the rear light and rear screen, looks complete. The listing seats are probably down to the electric adjustment cables needing attention, when one side snags, the other side pulls the seat into a distorted shape. The ignition barrels on these are notorious for giving up on high mileage cars but are relatively easy to change, had the same issue on my 12v 300TE. This is gong to be fabulous once you've done the Mikey Magic on her. 👍😎
Classic Mercedes Mike. My dad had two of these in the late 80’s early 90’s in the UK. He loved them and said they were the best cars he owned. My mom called them Boris Benz and the other Berty Benz.
nice one, I love it. Missy is a fitting name; it's missing the exhaust, the ignition barrel, the tail light, the switch in the dash, the fuse box cover, the speakers and the head rests. By the way, the seats may have an issue with the motors not moving both tracks at the same time (need cleaning & lube so free repair).
Mike you should build a metal building shop with a concrete floor behind your house. Search for sponsors to help make it happen. Make it extra tall and keep all your electric bikes on an upper platform. Get an auto lift sponsor like Randy has. Post on your RUclips channel what you would like and see what help shows up. Click "like" if you other guys agree!!
True legends the W124 series. Here in Poland we still see many of them and in Portugal where I was born some are still being used as daily drivers and as taxi in small towns. Some tinkering and elbow grease will give you another 10 years of pleasant motoring 😁 The name could be the Wagcycle.
125$ for a W124 wagon in such decent condition is crazy! Just a little bit of advice, if you're thinking about keeping the car, I would replace the strut top mounts, which are severely cracked (you can see that at 19:55) and they can break off completely and that wouldn't be nice!
WoW Mike, I Like That Mercedes Benz 300 Wagon, What A Rare Vehicle You Did Well, I Would Name It Sweat, Because Like Keith Sweat, It Made You Sweat.. LoL 😉
That's my dream car! I wish that I could just go to a car lot and buy one for that little money. I would call her Olympia, just like my favorite german typewriter brand.
My mom almost always names her cars as well as dad’s. His white E320 was named Blanche and her E320 wagon is called Sadie. Yeah, it’s a little obvious, but it might work. Betsy was the E21, followed by Fred, the 528e. Then there was Bertha, my 525i 5MT; if you’ve ever seen the back end of an E34 you’d understand. I don’t know if the Volt has a name. My little red minivan is Clair or Clairette (claret), cute but not sexy enough to be named Scarlet.
Nice! I picked up a 1987 Estate (diesel) for cheap, but not that cheap. And won't talk about how much it's cost to get it back on road. But my favorite Mercedes out of the 6 I own.
Mercades station wagons have always looked cool in my opinion
I agree completely.
Very nice Merc wagon. Its no E55 AMG wagon like the one Alex from #LegitStreetCars has, but its fine, with a great engine and once this wagon's restored, it'll be glorious!
I agree with you on that
as the old saying goes, there’s someone (or in this case something) for everyone.😀
10K views in 4 hours might just set a new record!! Great video Mike!
It did!! The video is 🔥🔥🔥!
That's a good buy. 1995 was the last year for the S124 chassis, and it has a 24v fuel injected engine, not the stupid Bosch k-jet
Way to go Mike on your new car Mercedes Benz $458 out the door thank you Byron for telling Mike about it and yes it will be saved awesome
Happy to help! After this I may be banned lol!
@@byronholt4912 why be banned?? What for helping out Mike with a car no way I don’t see that
@@DonaldHall9I guess that depends on how easy or how hard it is for Mike to get the car fixed up.
Yes I was joking about it turning out so bad Mike would ban me. So far I’m safe!
I've never seen and hear a car that is so happy it is Home, very nice car to a pleasant animal road trip
Stick with Mercedes Mike, they bring out the best in you, you light up with genuine joy when you’re working on this brand, awesome!!
Great score Mike, I hope there is no floor damage, which might be causing your seat issue but if there is a few hits with a 8 lbs sledge hammer after heating the area with a torch might put them back to their original postions. Legendary find, looking forward to watching you fixing it up!
I love these old Euro-wagons.
I was totally shocked when you popped the hood and seen that yellow C15 cat . LoL
BEAUTIFUL!!
Hey mike hook the battery up and put the key in the door lock and lock then unlock 2 times . That shuts the alarm off . If does not work in drivers door try passengers door or trunk .

Thank God for a friend like Randy, I wish you great luck with the new project car Mike. 😎🤞👌👍
The alarm changing pitch when the car started up is hilarious. This one is a real hooptie. The key ignition issue would make it a perfect candidate for those push button kits. You could add remote start to it!
Great idea!
Mike's neighbors: You know Mike you could make a really nice profit if you were to sell your house. 😂
It's buying the next one that stings
😂

Very nice mike cant wait to see it nice and clean and running like it should good luck and god bless mike.😊
Oh man.... i love an s124! My dad always drove a 300 Turbo Diesel back in the days.
Super excited you ended up with it! I was hoping you would!
Can’t wait to watch this series!!
Mike your the one to bring this car back.good luck😊
Glad younfound the keys mike😮
That's when Merc's were made like tanks, Mike? I'm sure you know that? Great purchase, look at the dash, no cracks?
Well it’s not bad for $125.00 and it runs mike great video Mike thanks to Randy for the truck & trailer use to Mike. 😊

THE BICYCLE BENZ! 😂😂 Your Welcome.
Wagon life is where it’s at.
Sweaty Betty is my vote for its name!
Mercedes used quality materiel on the seats back then, still looks good!
love the w124 wagons, awesome find Mike
I've switch watching to you more often because of your very real diy and Mercedes cars content. Keep it going man.
That's a score big time, MWM, an estate w124 model Benz, a rare sight today for a song 🎵 👌 a little TLC will bring her back to glory 🎉😂, l hope so!!
Wow, talk about an incredible deal!
I love wagons, and love Mercedes. Looks like a winner.
Have a good evening sir and be safe and careful.🙂👍🙏
Always liked those old Wagaons
I’m sure your neighbors. Love you with the horn blowing on the car that was a funny 😂😂😂😂😂
Very good deal on the grocery getter. I am waiting on the head gasket replacement on the SLK. 👍 Matt.

I admire your enthusiasm and optimism Mike.

Great content again Mike, just wish you could get more subscribers because you deserve it mate👍

#Fraulein, German women, love those wagons. Forklift bent the floors under the seat. Check the driveshaft also it may be bent.

How about Ester the Estate? Lol great score Mike! Can't wait to see where this one goes
Esther the Estate wagon?
Try the keys, Mike, and see if the alarm still goes off? Nice score! 👍
The interior is amazing far as much mileage is on it that shows how much Mercedes has fallen since those days 😢
That’s a really cool car Mike. I like it!! It sounds fantastic without the exhaust.
That's cool.
My dad had one during my childhood.
It was awesome. Thanks, Mike, for bringing this to the channel ❤

Great deal! Really enjoyed your videos!
This is awesome
Well spotted Byron. This car has Mike written all over it. 👍
TY sir!
Brilliant car and fantastic price, I think ‘Byron the Benz’ after the dude that found it for you 👍
That Byron is a cool dude! lol
Cant lose at all for that price..Well,maybe it will cause a huge headache but I love it lol..
It’s always good when it ends up running and driving when it was posted as a no start. Plus you found the keys. And you should name it Megan.
Love the walk around inspection !!!!!! 👍👍👍👍

No way! A wagon …awesomeness
Love these old Benz, especially the estate versions. Cool buy Mike..
Hey Mike. I think she should be named "I lean" great seats. Lol
If I was your neighbor i would have to get a dog just so i could walk it by your house to check out what new cool projects you have brought home.
You're not allowed to walk without a dog where you from?

Yeah, with folded rear seats it'll swallow almost anything!
Vary awesome indeed. Keep up the great work. Okay.
look forwards to seeing more videos on this, i know you said your neighbours where fussy but dont blame them after this lol

Looking forward to seeing more of this car, great find

I remember the Mercade station wagon back in the '80s, my mother's boss have one just like the one you have.
