A lot of people don't realize that when you get going on a project car it isn't long before you are waiting for parts or the tool to install the parts you're waiting for so you just shift over to the next vehicle on the list. When your videoing the process it's even worse. Great video. Thank you.
Mike, on the ML55, try holding down both AUTO buttons on the HVAC controller. It will cause the fan to come on full speed. You may have a bad fan control module.
I been following Randy for many years but at the moment he is so disarray. Your videos are much calmer and not so off the chain. Please don’t just get cars just to get cars…hehe… Yay!😊
Mike I think you should get rid of some... 1. Disco inferno needs to go 2. BMW needs to go 3. Rat infested Benz needs to go 4. Escalade should have left long time ago along with the SLK And then you can focus on the remaining ones if your waiting for parts then you can do walk arounds in the meantime
Mike, trace and check the wiring before you get a new fan motor for the ML. Also check the AC cooling fan on switch and jump the fan motor to see if it does or does not work.
With the 280se make it a sleeper, put a C63 amg engine and gearbox etc in it, the rattling on the BMW maybe a Vanos rebuild, the 190 check there is no fuel leak from the EHA from the CIS side, scrap the Jag, scrap the Caddy, fix the electrics and the crank position censor on the ML, attach a tow bar and use it as your tow machine, fix the wagons, decide which you want along with the S320, sell the rest, and buy ne projects, easy LOL.
I appreciate what you're doing and the parts issues. However i used to watch Samcrac never finish a car, it gets old...Other YT guys never update projects as if it's not important to be bothered and months later say yeah i sold xy and z, not even mentioning how they did. Please don't be that guy 😄. That said you're doing great work Mike !
Do not give up the process Mike! Onward! Escalade, the Twins, will be one again and be victorious road warriors!! God Speed Michael..! God Speed....!!!! ( Did my speech work )?
You'll figure it out, plastic weld a already broken bumper for the SLK, do the head gasket with your neighbours 'too many projects garage' lend them a hand and your extractor so they can do detail geek videos on their fleet, win win 😁
I would keep, the BMW E38 740i. Good investment, and one of the best luxury cars, ever. It was the peak flagship in BMW history. That thing is amazing.
11:05 would you considering a chrome bumper conversion? Don’t get overwhelmed about the amount of projects you just need some better time management. Cheers Pat 🇦🇺
Man I would get rid of some of those Junkers off my property, your neighbors and HOA will appreciate it. Sell some junk and use the money on the AMG because that car is actually worth saving.
BTW, I seriously doubt that brake line on the Escalade is supposed to be capped! It probably needs rear calipers and someone closed off the line to get some sort of pedal. Get a GM shop manual somewhere and look at the brake line routing. Peace, Rick
Thanks Mike, I had been curious about developments on that mistreated Escalade. I daydream about something like an Escalade, or a Navigator, even an Aviator for an urban transport. This weeks cooler weather enhances my pedestrian efforts. But at the same time serves as a reminder of the return of making those necessary walks to Walmart grocery on the ice. Regarding the odd capped brake line. I thought perhaps you could catalog browse brake line kits looking for one that appears to go to that block. I am talking into my hat, but it seems that may have some correlation to the workability of the rear brakes. Probably an irrelevant thought, it has been almost 50 years since I did any brake repairs on a car.
Mike, to help you with the Escalade we need to know your plans. If you want it as your tow pig versus dump it is much more intense. As I said before, new parts for it are very reasonable.
I understand the whole project thing. We have a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country van that had been a project in my life since December 2021. I’m still at it but one day it will be done. She’s got 162000 on it and runs strong. So keep up the great work and videos!!! Saying hi from Maryland!!!!
Mike we love you and your channel no matter what you will 100percent get it all done and sorted in one way or another and whatever content you put out i personally shall be watching and enjoying thanks for the update Mike
Mike my friend, Speaking as a hoarder, welcome to the club! I’m not an expert at dragging one’s self from under a pile of started yet unfinished projects but I do have one suggestion: see if you can find someone who’s an expert in the rather old fashioned fuel injection systems in the disco inferno. The learning curve is pretty steep on those and it may keep you from ever finishing it. It’s a shame because the interior is so nice. It’s one project that “Project Depression “ may set in on. Ever wonder why there’s so many unfinished car projects for sale all the time? Peace my friend, DrRick
I think you’re doing a great, it’s tough to juggle it all. Parts here in Canada take days and days to arrive, so U.S.A. must be the same. It’s what I miss about the UK, stuff would arrive overnight because it’s tiny! I’d maybe approach each one at a time, then sell them once completed. Whatever you do I love the vids I’ll be watching!
Mike love the fleet update, focus on the cars that need less attention, get those out of the way, or sell them at the auction, for more money for other cars that need it, but love the content, Keep up the good videos !
Mike this is what you should do, send some of the cars to auction, get some of your money back. Then you can work on the cars that won’t need too much work. Get rid of the ones that need massive engine work. You can then catch your breath and start over with some cars that don’t need as much work as the ones that you have. Just food for thought . You will never catch up if you keep buying cars that need so much work.
Hahah you’re cracking me up. It’s like a slow descent into madness or chaos… first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. I Lolled out loud at the torque converter sitting in a pile of leaves and muffler parts. 😅❤. Good content tho and good sense of humor too! Randy is your enabler tho. He keeps dragging you to those CoPart auctions and you just can’t resist.
Mike, I have been trying to get you in touch with Alex of Legit Street Cars. I want to see the Disco Inferno live. I love your channel. Keep doing what you’re doing.
The prices you pay for those cars almost makes me want to move to the US. Here in Ontario Canada you'd have to add $1000 to all those prices, at least.
There is always going to be projects. Maybe need to cut your Losses on 3 of them........ Mercedes retracta top, Gold BMW, and the Escalade. Maybe the Disco inferno.............. Keep all the others. Use the '03 Mercedes ML55 as a tow vehicle . Focus your attentions on Janice's drivetrain and the two w124's You make amazing videos and we all love watching them but really to be honest ............I believe we watch you mainly because of your Mercedes content!!!! Keep up all the great videos. We love them!!!! Take great care of you and know your limitations. Much Respect!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Dear Mike, before you replace the fan on your ml55, you might simply need a fuse. I own two other ml55s. The first one that I bought, they thought the car kept overheating for a different reason. I changed the fuse and no longer had the overheating issue.
Never have too many cars. It like having too much money... not possible. Love your videos Mike. I wish that the Cadillac would be a better vehicle for you.
Mike, I wish I lived round the corner from you, I would work on your cars, for free. Regrettably I’m in the UK, wrenching on aircraft, plus my W221 S550L. We’re I worked on my other 51 Mercedes, which I’ve owned. Your on it, keep going, your getting there Sir 👍
You'll get it all done might just take time don't overwhelm yourself. Look at Lola and the duckies they've been absent for a while good to see them 👋.They are looking good. ❤
MWM has the last laugh 😃 😅, lots of goodies and gems 💎 on his amazing Benz Collection, l love them all...with his determination and tenacity of purpose, soon all his cars will come alive & driving soon...Nice updates of these vblog..love is in the air....🎉😂
On escalade rear break line was capped probably was leaking so it was hacked and sealed up just go to pay and pull and take lines off other esclade had same problem with a 2000 serria
The 2 wagons are both worth saving. I’d keep the nicest one and sell the other one when you get them finished. The ML is a great car and am like you - on the prowl for one. Your older benz is also a keeper - just get it running. It would be a great cruiser and car show driver. The S is a good daily IMHO. The caddy and jag are duds - neither is worth saving. I would certainly have less cars and focus on fixing one at a time. It it is your garage.
I hate to say it but you're right. The Jag sat too long and even an average mile car running is $3-4k or so here. They are a nightmare for everyone that's not trained a Jag mechanic and probably them too... The Escalade is wore out, it's gonna be a parts wagon, meaning you're gonna need a wagon of parts to keep it running correctly. You can buy one for $3-4k too with 200k here, and in way better shape, ready to work. Cut the losses and stress, it's ok everyone understands, better now than later.
My father also had an MG midget, his was red though. He was going down a hill in Balboa Park San Diego when the entire transmission including shifter dropped out onto the road, after that he dumped it in my uncles yard lol
Focus on the E38. It's your most well sorted of the classic Germans. I will do the timing chain guide job if you supply me with an endless supply of beer
UGH! Watching this reminded me how many unfinished cars I have in the pipeline at the moment. Nowhere near as many as you do, but still quite a few. I guess this means that I shouldn't be bidding at the IAA auction tomorrow.
Randy said the other day he has 17 cars. Have you looked at another Escalade in one of your walk arounds to see what the brake system looks like? I suspect someone may have disconnected it rather than repair/replace it.
Mike I don't know how you have survived the summer heat! I know you're north of me as I am in the Ft.Worth suburbs, but I know it hasn't been much cooler there.
I'm a semi-retired detail man I worked the autograph Carwash for several years in Fort Smith it's now shutdown so I'll do it from my house but I would come up there and help you with every car you have for free no mechanical work just clean them up and I also know how to sweep and use the leaf blower before you clean a car I don't want to be on the channel I just want to say hey I'm bored with life turning 41 but all of your cars and I think you'd be impressed with what I could do also glad that you called dirt-dobber dirt daubers not mud daubers. Randy! Lol. Love both your video's it looks fun. fun!!
Great video Mike! Been watching since the beginnings of your channel and great to see the growth. Nerdy RUclips question: what’s your audio/video setup? I’m looking to up my game on my channel and yours looks and sounds great!

Thanks for pointing that out to everyone. 100 percent true.

And worst of all, Out of Stock.
Mike, on the ML55, try holding down both AUTO buttons on the HVAC controller. It will cause the fan to come on full speed. You may have a bad fan control module.
Get rid of the old projects and getting up in the morning will be much more enjoyable 😊
I been following Randy for many years but at the moment he is so disarray. Your videos are much calmer and not so off the chain. Please don’t just get cars just to get cars…hehe…
Yay!😊
AAR videos are boring looking for ONLY what Randy wants.
The moment you throw away the “unwanted items “, you or someone you know will need something 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Lola's like come on dad let's go for a drive please I'll be good i promise 18:41
Mike I think you should get rid of some...
1. Disco inferno needs to go

Mike, trace and check the wiring before you get a new fan motor for the ML. Also check the AC cooling fan on switch and jump the fan motor to see if it does or does not work.
Yes consolidate. But get the 1972 2xx Benz we saw recently. 😊 The white and dark blue one.
Disco Inferno : Now I know what project car is in the intro. Baby Benz. The condition of leather seats tells me it was well taken care of.

That S320 is great, I recently got a 95 S500 Coupe, love the 140 chassis
I’ve been searching for a w140 coupe!! Congratulations!!!!!
I would keep, the BMW E38 740i. Good investment, and one of the best luxury cars, ever. It was the peak flagship in BMW history. That thing is amazing.

Stay the course, focus on one start/finish car at a time, you've got this! Respect!👍
I absolutely agree with you on that

Browsing brake component catalogs is a great idea! Hopefully there’s some illustrations of brake line replacements.

Just is too bad that many of those just had a bad day. I never got lucky like that.
Hey Mike thanks for sharing all of your cars. They will all be great. Huggs ❤❤
Totally understand about your dad's car my dad left a Chevy C10 and that ain't going anywhere

Thanks for sharing the fleet update 🐵🔧Mike 🎬🚘🙆👍. Have a great weekend Mike 🙂✌️Salute 😎

Interesting fleet of vehicles. Everything takes time. Don’t rush it, mistakes will be made. Stay true to the channel
I had a 97 XJ-6L, it had more electric components than an F-16!
Great to see a fleet update 😂keep it up Mike! Love the content!
Vary awesome collection that you have there. It will take awhile for you to get them all fixed up. Keep up the great work.
Mike, I have been trying to get you in touch with Alex of Legit Street Cars. I want to see the Disco Inferno live. I love your channel. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Hey Mike good to see you an the cars good luck
Mike you can straight wire the fan it could be a fuse or a relay switch
The prices you pay for those cars almost makes me want to move to the US. Here in Ontario Canada you'd have to add $1000 to all those prices, at least.
There is always going to be projects. Maybe need to cut your Losses on 3 of them........

Is the one called Janice a diesel?
Good morning Mike. Good to see you, Lola and the ducks again.🙂👍
Happy Saturday Mike!
In the U.K. one can find a Jag S Type in a lot better condition at the local scrapyard. They are cheap as chips!
Really enjoyed this fleet update! So many projects, so little time! On the way to 50K, that's just awesome.
Dear Mike, before you replace the fan on your ml55, you might simply need a fuse. I own two other ml55s. The first one that I bought, they thought the car kept overheating for a different reason. I changed the fuse and no longer had the overheating issue.

Thanks for the update Mike. You may need to focus on 1 car at a time. Parts are probably a problem too. Good Luck with all the cars. 👍🇨🇦
Randy spotted a Pearl White Escalade this week in OKC? MUCH BETTER CONDITION
On escalade rear break line was capped probably was leaking so it was hacked and sealed up just go to pay and pull and take lines off other esclade had same problem with a 2000 serria
There is a car being parted out in Atlanta, TX on Facebook. It is the same color.
The 2 wagons are both worth saving. I’d keep the nicest one and sell the other one when you get them finished. The ML is a great car and am like you - on the prowl for one. My daughter loves the beginning of this video and the ducks
lets Go!!! 100k keep pushing Mike
Mike I would love to buy the SLK provided you don't finish her until January or so.
I don’t have the time for my one project! I can’t afford or have the energy for multiple projects!🤔❤️👍
I got history with the ml55 u have there even have the stock amg wheels that came off of it
You might question what's the title on that 2005 Mercedes convertible one clean title or salvage title
Nice collection of cars 🚘💯
That was a cool walk around sir.👍
I love the SLK!
Hey mike it looks like someone put blue devil in the radiator to try to fix a head gasket I had the same outlook when I tried that in my car
Love the collection you have
My father also had an MG midget, his was red though. He was going down a hill in Balboa Park San Diego when the entire transmission including shifter dropped out onto the road, after that he dumped it in my uncles yard lol
Since the Escalade is built on the GMT platform, maybe you could use a 2500 Silverado/Sierra for reference for brake lines. Or maybe a Yukon Denali.
Focus on the E38. It's your most well sorted of the classic Germans. I will do the timing chain guide job if you supply me with an endless supply of beer
Ask TK @ TK's Garage about the Gold BMW. His passion for BMW's = to your M-B passion. Nice BMW wheels on it too

If you need to get rid of anything, it would be Inferno. List it or junk it. It's just dead weight.
What brand of tint and percentage you went with Mike? Looks amazing 😍
Very satisfying video👍
Greetings from Serbia 🇷🇸
Lola is a car gal, always wanting to get in the cars 😂❤
Please fix the Escalade so Randy will quit looking for a tow pig for you.
You can never have too many vehicles! I have 6 old vehicles that need work not counting all the other vehicles. Would like to have more.
Great video🔥🔥
Lola is so cute😍
I am pretty sure Randy would make time for you and take you to pickup that headliner🙂👍
Just get canned air. Instead ofncompressor. And a white bumper for that car and paint it rattle can =)) or use a tire compressor. You only need 1 psi for smog
Keep with it Mike you will get it done !
i think the reason why your projects are all piling up is not because you have to many but you own 5 project Mercs! and a Jag lol dude seriously have a fling with a Lexus! ;-)
Find a 3d printer place or hobby person see if a bumper is too big to 3d print they might come under $800
Randy is a gatecrasher
Trailer hitch on your daily something to get bigger parts also a cheap utility trailer
Don’t be sorry Mike just have a lot of projects! You’ll get them done just will take time.
I need SLK interior. Does junkyard near you have one?
Mike's used cars. 😊
Love how you say "will return soon" then you hear the crow 🐦⬛. Good sign
Mike! For what you spent on all those cars you could have bought your Bently
Very cool, whats the plan after finisihing fixing them. Randy is good at selling them, eventually you are going to run out of real estate.
“…those calipers are not for the back…”
That’s because they’re rotors, Mike! 😂
