Hi Bob and Shelly, was that just a build-up of old milk and crap going down the sink? Why do they have the pumps fitted and not straight to the main drains
Yes it was 3-4 years of nasty 🤢 milk and syrup build up. I'm not 100% sure why they are piped right into the main. If I had to take a guess the main is far away and they probably could not get the correct pitch for it. (Shelly)

Hey Jay, the chickens are doing great. We lost most of our original flock to raccoons but we got new ones. They are all well secured now. Only one seems to be laying so far, maybe to as of this morning. Not fully sure yet though. You should get them they are fun. Just remember if you get them as babies they don't start laying till 6-8 months old. (Shelly)

I have a basement pump - same model. I have same stuff in it - hard smelly Yellow stuff no can tell me what it is,,, It is leaking thru Vent pipe - don’t know what to do about it - gotta have someone look at what the previous plumbers did - I vacuum the same way as you guys but now my float is broke - does not rise up - ordered a new pump hope to have it replaced and vent pipe fixed…. I had more in mine - now it seems clogged as well as float - PITA. this was just a basement sink - lol
Is the vent leaking because the pump is not pumping?
If you just plug it just the direct power for the pump, And it works. Just replace the float switch. Much cheaper and can get one at box store. Hope this helps. (Bob)
@@DrainMedic Motor is blown now - and also the vent is leaking from above kitchen - it is an island vent and plumber improperly installed vent pipe - which filled the pit with slime….Thanks for the replay - like your vids !
