I think all these companies releasing resin is really healthy for the community. We never know until a better resin will come along, or push it further. Great review, Greg!
I just tried the Conjure Tough, their site linked me to this video. I'm very impressed. I can't break the validation piece, it folds completely in half. The details and finish are also quite good. It will be great as an additive.
Since I have been following all of the reviews just a note: The Siraya resin you actually wanted to mix in is not the tough one, but tenacious to make it more flexible. For anybody wondering, check-out the previous siraya resin reviews, there it sould be mentioned.
i was searching your channel and I didn't find anything on anti aliasing settings? Do you use them? If not why not? and if So why and how do you use them for the best results?
I just had a generic question. I have the Photon S and want to upgrade. Should I go all out and get the Phrozen 8k or do the 4k? I’m new to all this. However, this has sparked a great passion and want to get the best results for the price.
Would love to see you review the Conjure Rigid Resin too. Just ordered mine to test out. Same cost as the others but looks like it's going to be way better in the long run for minis.
Will be interesting to see more resin released by competitors. Maybe the prices will be competitive as well. On a side note, I notice with all your prints that you can’t see any marks from supports or cuts/sanding. When I get my supports of (using your settings and default settings; vise versa) I use warm water and they usually come off clean. Minus the occasional pits and sometimes the nubs. When I clean the nubs off, it leaves noticeable marks. Any tips on how to get rid of those? I’m not talking about gouges. Just micro abrasions that turn the surface white from gray. 🤷♂️
So for those of us that require some flex and durability in their resin, what's your current recommendation? I'm going to be getting a Phrozen 8K through your kickstarter.
@@3dprintingpro212 i contacted hitry on their facebook page about sending you one and they said " Hi!Thanks for your suggestions! We will try to pitch "3DPrintingPro" to get a review!" i hope they are not bsing me. i need your stamp of approval! :)

Curious: what are your top 3 resins for miniatures?
Thanks to you, I’ve been using Epax Hard Grey resin, and love it.

I gently scrape off any nubs with an exacto, if there are any big pits or damage I put a tiny drop of resin and cure it to fill any hole

Right now a good option is mix some Siraya Tenacious (try 10% and see) in to your favorite resin
What's the name of the miniature you're printing?
I really dig the monster with the sealed lips.
From our Kickstarter! www.kickstarter.com/projects/1592136222/anime-dungeons-amazing-miniatures-and-terrain
Would be handy to have known the price so can chart it with other resin.
Anyone else like trying to look at the models in the background to see if you have printed anything in common with Greg?
I should pan over those one day to show people, of course it's just a tiny portion but might be fun :)
@@3dprintingpro212 would make for a fun intro/series of intros!
👍
Now they just need to figure how to to restrict it so you can only use their resin if you use their slicer.
Hehe, good one! But they did license Lychee so now Lychee works with everything I think
