Wow, this is beautiful. Congrats! Looking forward to following along.
I'm excited for you, kudos!
Back from a trip to Mexico and now chilling out at home in Arizona watching this weeks progress. cant wait to see how the recording next week goes. I'm flying home to the UK Saturday for a few weeks, and am half tempted to book an easy jet to Sweden and come say hi.
You’d be very welcome!
Looks very nice!!! Congratsss
So proud of you and everyone involved! Emotional
Thank you sir!
Wow. Congratulations on a wonderful journey! I found your channel yesterday and have binged the whole series. Really inspiring and emotional. I also built a studio with a friend close to 10 years ago now, in a small town in Namibia. Since covid we’ve really been struggling to keep it open doing music. After a lot of heartache, we shifted completely to corporate work now, which pays the bills, but feels somewhat hollow. This series has rekindled some of that early excitement of building a new space, the attention to detail required, the vast amounts of labour and love and time to create something that can inspire great music for decades to come. You’ve got something really special here..
Wow what a lovely message, thanks so much! Happy to hear your business survived even though you had to do stuff just for the money 💰 I had to do tons of soul destroying advertising music in order to build my studio in Berlin, but I think the most important thing is that studios stay in existence no matter what. Glad to hear that your enjoying our progress, come and visit us someday :)
@@idea_farm Thank you for your kind reply and invitation. My wife has a sister in Sweden, so I might even take you up on that. Good luck with the finishing of the studio, a bit of work still ahead with the room acoustics, although the live room already sounds pretty sweet as is.
Okay, now I'm addicted to watching this process.
Unbelievable work 🤯 the place looks unreal
You´re living my dream. Enjoy it for the both of us!
Very much looking forward to hearing some of the projects that come out of the studio. I'd love a walkthrough of your control room with outboard gear, amps, etc.
Also looking forward to seeing the rest of the barn come together. So many creative activities in such a cool place. Cheers! Enjoy it and soak it in.
I really can't wait to see the finish. It's been fun watching y'all do this from the beginning ☮️💖☯️
Lots of work done, almost there.
Great to have the first sound resonating in the studio soon 🔉
Amazing achievement so far, really really nice 😀👌🏼
looking great! Love watching your journey.
This has been an amazing journey to follow, man.
Such incredible pace of progress 😮! I’m sure it must feel overwhelming to see the (almost) final results of so much work over the past few years. It’s going to be an absolutely phenomenal place to make and record music. Can’t wait to stop by and see it in person 😁!
Thanks Megan and see you on Wednesday!
space is looking phenomenal
Looking great, congratulations on your progress!
Top stuff, great journey
It’s been really interesting watching the difference in approach between the way you’re doing a ‘giant barn to studio’ vs Eric Valentines ‘giant barn to studio’.
I like them both but yours seems more… comfortable? Not sure if that’s the right word.
Bavarian Plasterboard Army 💪
Awesome skills you guys got there!
Who is coming from copenhagen? (because I'm from cph) :)
This is SO exciting!! Looking forward to the video of the first recording...
You’ll have to wait and see!
It looks like a church!
Amen 🙏
@@idea_farm 😂
It will sound great, churches allways do!
Hi, this looks amazing! I have one question: what kind of insulation is that, is it rock whool? thanks!
It’s hunton nativo.. thanks!
@@idea_farm thanks for replying
this material looks amazing, what are your opinions after using it? does it keep sound in and off the studio? would you use it for other than insulation, for instance for treatment outside the walls? like in panels?
Hey no problem, I’m intending to use it for panels too.
I'm not an expert on this but you want your vent in and out on opposite corners of the room otherwise the air just goes straight from vent in to vent out along the ceiling and doesn't spread clean air around the room. I made this mistake when I built my first room
Yes that’s what we did.. had a ventilation guy design the system too ;)
1st ??
Yeah the first music recorded in there
