Thanksgiving is a 2 big meal day every year!
Spray the ladle with cooking spray, that will help the batter release.
Thank you for your English muffin recipe! A while back, during the pandemic, we could not buy bread @ the stores. I got inspired to bake our bread and tried to make english muffins.The results were disappointing. They were heavy and tasted too “yeasty”, also it was hard to regullate the temperature using a fry pan on my stove. Your recipe for the batter looks very promising. The difference from the ones I tried is the 2 risings and the way you stirred it 100 times.. I will use my electric griddle & use the dome lid from my wok. You make it look easy. ❤

Love your English muffins and your black bean burgers. My vegetarian friends love these burgers! Try some pickled beets and some avocado oil mayo with those burgers. YUM!

Today is Monday and I’ve decided to make the black bean patties for supper ( a bit of rainy spring weather here) and have just read the recipe. Had to laugh at ‘run into the garden and pick some lettuce leaves’ bit- by very good fortune I planted 6 different types a week ago and could actually perform that step later today…also love Ricky Martin…😊 . I love the idea of having black bean burgers. This looks like a great recipe. Perfect with the home-made coleslaw. Meat has gotten to be so expensive for some of us(me) that it's nice to have an alternative burger. Also good for vegetarian dinner guests. Also if I can't or choose not to go out to the grocery store, I can make from beans on my pantry shelf. Black bean burgers are the best I think. The English muffin recipe also looks like a winner. These look similar, but I don’t have the recipe in front of me. The others were just so delicious. I will also be making the English Muffins. You made them look so simple. I have no idea why I have not made them before. Loved the clips of your babies too. Also, maybe it’s because our dirt in the garden is not as rich looking as yours, but your soil you planted the garlic in looked wonderful. I have yet to get a garden like I had in the Northeast.
