I just wanted to stop in and say thank you for sharing this video. I purchased two yeti mugs at a yard sale yesterday and your tips. helped me get them looking new. I just used 2 blue shop towels to clean both with baking soda.
This video inspired me to deep clean mine… inside was completely stained… I tried the way you suggested but wound up using vinegar and baking soda with a Brillo… looks brand new thanks
Thanks for the video. It looked like you only removed the top slider out. The bottom slider can easily be removed by turning it. It then can easily be removed. Thanks again.
I came here for the kid advice. I had two Orca chasers I used for coffee everyday the past 5 years. Totally stained and brown inside. I used a dishwasher pod and then boiled water to fill up the cup. Let it sit about an hour. Then rinsed and scrubbed. They look brand new
that yeti when dirty looks clean compared to mine, lol. i should probly just throw out the seal and buy a new one. I regularly have to pop out the coffee scale that's plugging the vent holes on the lid in order to get a decent sip out of it.
So, wash the parts with dishwashing liquid and add some baking soda for the inside of the cup? So glad I spent 10 minutes on this. The lid is still stained. So, scrolling on…
Hey Yana, thanks for the instructional video. I have an alternate suggestion for you and your viewers on how to clean the interior of the mug itself. Wash the mug as you normally do, then put a splash of liquid bleach into the mug, fill it with water to the very top and let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes. Dump out the bleach solution and rinse thoroughly. It makes your stainless steel look like new, with no scrubbing.
How I clean the Yeti. Wet a sponge with water and wring it out. Use the apprasive side of the sponge and put Comet on the sponge. The Comet acts like a fine pumice. Rub the inside of the cup with the sponge and Comet. It will remove the tannins from coffee or tea. Wash your Yeti afterwards. I don’t think Comet and coffee or tea would go well together Your choice.
This a a 10 minute video to flex that she owns a “Swedish dishcloth.” Then, basically wash your Yeti with dish soap and perhaps a little baking soda on the inside of the cup.
Thanks for posting this! I'm a daily yeti user and have been needing to learn how to deep clean mine. Have a great day 💟💟💟💟💟

I wait until the gasket and lid and slider are dry before assembly. That way there’s no risk of mold forming.
Thanks this helped so much. Mine was getting super dirty and I thought It wouldn’t come out but I scrubbed it and it looks brand new !!
Ah, baking soda always the life saver. Good looks on the lid, didn’t know if I could remove the rubber ring without permanent damage. Glad I can!
You can also use baking soda to remove coffee or tea stains from a mug!
Any tips for stains on the outside? I think they are from my car’s cup holder
Very nice, precise video. Keep up the good work!

The baking soda was a GAME CHANGER wow it worked so well

Yeah exactly. Mine gets a rinse once and a while... Today is the day though.
If that is a dirty YETI, then I’m not sure I’ve seen a clean one.

Works like a magic!!!

Thank you, but your video was six minutes too long.
So true. I changed the speed to 1.5 on RUclips and it was still too long.
You could also use an old toothbrush in order to go in the nooks and crannies … 😉
Helpful tips! Thank you 😊
I've heard the magic eraser removed coffee marks
Thank you for sharing, I'll have to try it out!!
Is the alternative if your hands too big to fit in the cup to clean it?
You can remove seal with a toothpick.

I couldn't watch. She left the water running.
Skip the first 1:50.
She said, "Dry Swedish hand cloth," and I'm ☠️
Turn off water
What kind of cloth was it again, could you say it once more 😂😂
