have 2016 Touareg. Dealer wants $6000 to replace both ACC radar sensors. Not convinced sensors are bad since they said they bypassed sensors in a test and everything was OK. HOW can you test an ACC radar sensor to tell if it is working or not?
it is AMAZING how many shops i go to that have simply not installed the milliwave correctly, either by not using all of the bolts, or even hooking up the connector! i have to say, it’s oem procedure to inspect the radar before calibration, and i stick to it because of how often i run into these kinds of problems and waste time. helps to use the oem software as well, ODIS in this case.
