Brought up in Ardrossan , We watched the locomotives on the turntable at Montgomery St. area.The steep banking on the old Caledonian Railway had masses of bramble bushes . These were collected and our mother made great jam !
Excellent. I could watch these all day. Must have been almost identical to Bathgate depot and surrounding pits. Similarly desimated and only a few miles up the road. Thank you sir for sharing this film.. bravo..
I remember the Crabs running in front of my home, when I used to live near Annan. In fact, I may we’ll have seen the one featured at the start of the video, since both locations were linked by being on the GSWR!
