Hello Alistair. Circa late Summer 1967, I met a beautiful young lady from Auchinleck (we probably met via the dancing at the Locarno, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow). I believe she was employed at the Johnnie Walker distribution base in Hurlford. Her name is (still, I hope) Margaret. 💕 That was then. Here's to the old P-Way. @@RHR-221b I worked in the S&T department. Before the Johnnie Walker distribution centre was built in Hurlford the engine sheds were on the same ground, my uncles worked there. Funnily enough, my first girlfriend ended up working in the bottling plant in Johnnie Walker in Kilmarnock! It was the best pay in the area. She was paid more than me. Her name was Grace.
