Now I have mine running on 7911 phone but for some strange reason, a few of the phones are behaving in an abnormal way 1. They are successfully registered 2. I can call the line from another extension 3. They are not able to dial out. when I dial a number say, 2000 for instance, it just hows dialing 2 and beeps telling me the extension dial is not available at the moment. I suspect it has to do with the dialplan but then its same dialplan that worked for the other phones and they are same model. Have you gotten this issue before and how were you able to handle it? I will appreciate your feedback. Thanks
Hii, sorry for the late response. I was hospitalized, so I was unable to respond you. Sorry, I have not worked with 7911, so can't say what exactly the issue. Since dial plan is same for all phone models, you may check from PBX side as well. Are you using Grandstream PBX or some other brand?

inbound dial plan as follows, allowing all calls unrestricted, it would look like this, _!X., and then in outbbound, there can be 3 phases, make sure as to what ever extension you are setting these to, that the permission on the extension is higher then the dialplan, so for emergency 911, you can go local for permission, and then prepen 1-XXX,(XXX) would be for your area code, then set which sip account you are registering this to, then save &apply changes, for national,same this only you wont prepen anything here, set your permissions to national, and you could simply go with_XXXXXXXXXXX, then save and apply changes, there are a lot of ways, but these are ways that we at the Southernphonemans Telecom Central Office goes with, and you use these dial plans regardless of the type of phone you are using
Hi, Can you check if your phone has SIP firmware. You can check it in load information. If your phone does not have sip then you need to upload sip firmware first.

Hi, Please check your phone SIP load info (sip78xx.11-7-1-17) and put the same version in config file. Further you need to factory reset before setting up TFTP path and make sure to reboot the phone after TFTP setup in phone.
