    If I were Y'all, I'd hide a camera in there to make sure more than one person is taking all that food. Just b'coz Y'all are generous there's a lot of people that aren't. Just My way of thinkin'. Y'all are so Awesome 👌 for All that You do to help those in need. I wish that I were able to help in some way Y'all but if it weren't for My Boys, all 3 Adults, I wouldn't make it through the month.     I volunteer at the food pantry and it is so sad to see some of these people come in with nothing. I really appreciate your awesome donation! You guys are amazing people!

    It's so easy to make your own drinks, orangeade, lemonade,lemon and lime. So many options. Great example to the young ones.❤

    Seeing all of that food disappear from the Blessing Box shows you how great the need is for people who need food to feed their families. As prices climb, the need accelerates. Children still need to be fed.
    A good word is "moderation". Caine can have a few Kit Kar bars once in awhile. (Good job Adam--I loved when you made the suggestion).
    I know about food addiction. I had a very stressful job, and I swear I was addicted to Diet Coke. On a day where I had to multi-task to get my job done, I was drinking a six pack of Diet Coke at work. My weight went up, as did my blood pressure. Getting off of Diet Coke was really a challenge. Caine, I have a box of the limited edition Blueberry Muffin Kit Kats. I treat myself to maybe one bar every ten days or so. My husband would have been in a lot of trouble, if he gave my special Kit Kat bars away.
    I saw you donated Kind Bars. Those are actually better than most protein bars.
    We eat a mostly Mediterranean Diet, but I refuse to eat Octopus 🐙. We eat walnuts for a snack and fresh vegetables. We used to eat gallons of ice cream. Now we will eat fruit as a treat.
    You will feel better in the long run. I am losing weight, and my blood pressure has left the stroke zone and is in the normal range. Oh, I took early retirement from the stressful job. I intend to live a little longer and enjoy life.

    Love your dogs I got to mini chawawas and a chaweigny and a pitbull /lab he is gray and 12 weeks old for my brother who is in doc in illinois ,but will be out in October I can not wait I have broke my back twice and learned to walk again three times since all my bones were broke from a atv and my son walked away which I am so glad ,God was watching over me I love watching all your videos.

    Good luck on your diet.. I have been on the Keto diet for three months and I feel so much better!I have not had sugar,flour,pasta,potato for three months and I do not miss it.They make zero sugar minute made and add zero calorie kool aid to it.

    Yes, Stacey, that is true. Some can eat as many calories as they want and they don't gain an ounce. He definitely is better off eating good food. Oh, btw , kids are so cute.

    Really like the content if this video! I applaud you for deciding to eat more healthy. You are worth it . You will have more energy, less inflammation, less issues. Especially for kiddos, all the additives can cause sleep problems, make it harder to focus and cause allergies. Caine and Aaron I am proud of your positive attitude.     Adam nice haircut and beard and mustache trim love how much you guys bless others , I feel like in a way you guys are helping God feed the hungry and help people less fortunate for clothes shoes etc etc etc and most of it comes from the dumpsters and it's brand new stores can be so wasteful you know they could donate that stuff to the homeless shelters and take it off their taxes as a write off and what's the store's deal trying to ruin the things put in the dumpster by dumping cleaners are soaps all over everything not cool hope to hear back from you guys soon 🌷 thanks and may God bless you always and forever

    Injustice stuck with what my Grandma taught me and my mum. We had a cooked breakfast, a cooked meal and a salad and sandwich with fruit as a meal. Twice a day my grandma had a scone, slice of cake or something ( all homemade). We all walked . My grandad didn’t work she walked everyday played bowls once a week in summer. Housework. I walked twice a day with my dogs when I was younger and my dog when I had my own home. Always took my kids walking in the park or on the beach etc. Everything we had was homemade. Celeriac or sweet potato homemade chips. Homemade fudge or toffee as a treat . My kids were allowed sweets on movie night every Saturday. My kids now do the same thing with their own. Your right it’s what you know but to consciously make that decision to eat Healthy is to me, brave to admit you need to and brilliant you are teaching your kids. I come from a different generation so we came from the have and make do generation. War years and food rationing stayed with them. I also used and still use lard to do my bacon and roasts etc lol. I have full fat milk. Until I got a stomach bug a really bad one that triggered an avalanche of autoimmune diseases. I was healthy as a horse. My mum and dad are. It’s the processed food not the natural products that cause health issues I think. Good luck

    Try coconut oil! It’s so good to cook with. Good for you doing this as a family. The cravings will pass. Drink more water to wash it all away!

    Line a cookie sheet totally with foil. Spray with PAM and cook your bacon in the oven on the bottom shelf while you bake your biscuits. Dain fat into container, carefully wad foil and toss. No washing a greasy pan.

    I see no one takes the yams or sweet potatoes. I love them. We even eat them raw. Peel them and salt ‘em. Thank you for your sharing what😮you do. Plus the gentle way you handle the food so if you don’t like or want it you leave it for the next diver. Thanks

      They don't want the sweet potato or yams because they would have to cook them. And most people don't know how to cook from scratch anymore. They just open a box or rip open a bag.

    Try sliced lemons in cold water and let it sit 24 hours. I made similar changes myself since October. I always had a bowl of fruit on the table for any time I got munchies. Also reheating food the second day after cooking (ie. leftovers) can low the sugar levels. Good Luck Hope you'll all feel Healthy in no time!!

    Wow that’s wonderful news with the blessing box. I didn’t know about the oil I guess I’m switching I don’t use a lot of it. I do watch what I eat yes sometimes I do want cheat but I’m doing good and I know it’s hard for kids. But you’re doing great and keep up the great work guy’s ❤️

    Hey Adam you said to Caine about the kit kat bars maybe have them Friday or Sat night. I have a friend who did that. She eat healthy through the week but come Friday she had her cheat day. She would get ice cream. So a thought is do a cheat day. Gives the kids something to look forward to and you and Stacy also. Nice video Stacy and all!

    Good luck with the new diet my wife and I quit eating processed foods now we don't enjoy chips,candy,icecream,none of it taste like it used to once in a great while we will have icecream or gum but now its hard to enjoy once you get that processed food out of your life it get easier every day. So glad for all of you

    Proud of you guy's it's not easy to make the change. Another thing I do is cut up celery,carrots, broccoli and cauliflower and buy some snap peas and if you are wanting something crunchy like chips it helps. And I was watching a air fryer channel and they took chick peas or garbanzo beans and take the olive oil or avocado oil and any spices you like lightly toss the beans in your oil and spices then put in air fryer I can't remember the temp. And keep a eye on them and toss them every so often until they are brown and crisp. They will keep for quite a while in a baggie.

    I have diabetes and gave up sodas 2 years ago it’s hard but it makes you feel so much better. Tell Aaron that all I drink now is water and lemonade. I use real lemons or lemon juice (real lemons are the best lol) and Splenda and you can not tell the difference without the sugar ! Congratulations and keep up the good work.

    My church had to put our blessing box inside. One family was using it as their personal grocery store. Takes one person to ruins it for the community. The pantry is open during church hours, which I'd work8ng out well.

    My uncle became diabetic many many years ago. He still ate the same UNTIL his kidneys started going… That’s when drs told him he had to make HUGE changes in his diet to live. Taking out sugars, he literally cried. Iam a bit educated on changing sugars and diets due to culinary schooling. I help him with his change. Baking with sugar substitutes AND with less sugar. He loved his pancakes strawberries and whip cream. I made him homemade strawberry jam, strawberry sauce for his pancakes, made him homemade whip cream, annnnd homemade pancakes. He was a happy camper. He lasted about 20yrs until his death about 8yrs ago. GOOD LUCK to y’all

    Wow what a shocker on that food pantry after 24 hours. That's awesome yall are trying to eat healthier. I'm doing the same but I'm not on any diet plan I'm just doing portion control. It's been 4 months and I've lost nearly 60lbs. It's gonna be hard but I have faith that yall got this. Oh and you can add fresh lemon or lime in your water as it's very refreshing🙂 Stay blessed fam.

    Ibfound out that 400 degrees is better for biscuits. I use coconut oil is good for you too.

    Put a large pitcher of water in refrigerator with slices of lemon or cucumber. Let it sit for at least 1 hour. It will soon replace that sugared lemonade as your taste buds adjust. So much more healthier for you.

    Also get stevia raw for your sugar, olive oil or coconut oil avocado oil are excellent to cook with. Crystal light lemonade aid your son will like.

    Try sugar free Tampico and the individual pks of Kool aid for the kids. Sugar free Beyer's ice cream. Also chicken turkey and fish and all your veggies are excellent for your diet

    I have 3 blessing boxes here and I put something in them each week. I did notice last week I put enough sauce, noodles , green beans, and pears for 4 family's and it was all gone when I drove by 2 days later. So there is a need here to where I live.

    My daughter went pure carnivore lost way over 100 lbs, she says fruits is as bad as candy, she watches Dr.Berry on you tube. She eats nothing but meat,eggs, pork skins, there are plenty of receips on ketos. It is not a diet for her just a change in life style.

    Make real lemonade and use monk fruit instead of sugar and get 100% apple juice. I have to watch process foods because of my autoimmune diseases. Love these videos.

    Lard and proper butter are better for you because they don't have ant chemicals added. There is more sugar(. Sweetener) in a diet yogurt than a doughnut 😮

    I wouldn't say it's a diet, it's a lifestyle change .. well done ... in 6 weeks you'll all feel better with more energy and better sleep .. look at 1940's all at almost healthy size ... we have meat and veg ( beans, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato most nights , zucchini slice, quiche and salad ... fruit as snacks, lots of water ... we have 1 takeaway a month kids choice and 1 pasta dish this normally is cornbeef pasta... 1/2 stick butter, 2 cans cornbeef, 100 gms tomato paste, 1 and 1 /2 teaspoon of curry and 1 tablespoon of raw sugar as this takes acidity out of tomato paste . COMBINE all in saucepan add 1/2 cup of water and break all up until it's a consistency of a sauce ... add to cook ragotini pasta. We have beans , eggs , avocado toast or Weetbix for breakfast etc .. lots of fruit in the basket to choose from as there are no snack foods the kids eat fruit .... get hold of a juicer, it's a game changer 1-2 green apple, 1//2 cucumber, 6 stalks of celery .. the Apple makes it sweet ... cup of crushed ice also a dehydrator so you can make healthy snack chips with fruit and veges... They can have no sugar lemonade .. my son is none to very low sugar ... make it a thing 4 nights out of 7 for a family walk for 1/2 hr ... I lost over 20 kilos in 6 mths .. x

My son Jayke and I are doing this too. He has seizures and I have MS, COPD, Colostomy and other Health Issues. It's working for us, but it's so hard too.     Stacey try this recipe for biscuits…I don’t measure. It’s a feel.
    Self-rising flour
    Lard
    Buttermilk or regular milk
    Sift flour. Make a well. Put 2-3 large spoons of lard. Fill to the top of flour with buttermilk. Mix with your hand until it forms a loose dough. Turn out onto a paper grocery sack. Form into a ball. Pat out until about an inch thick. Cut out with a well floured glass or large mouth mason jar for cathead biscuits. Place on a greased baking sheet sides touching and bake at 400* for about 1/2 hour or so or until browned. You can use Crisco shortening but I like lard best.

    I think your doing Awesome, by helping others out with the food donation, and I'm right there with you as far as eating healthier during the covid my family gained so much weight because all we did was sit around the house and eat, we couldn't go out and do anything and I'm already disabled because my knees are bad from being over weight, and I have COPD and fibromyalgia so it already makes it hard for me to get around and exercise I can some days barely Rock so it's not good for me to gain weight any more than I already have LOL, but we are just now starting to get better as far as eating right I try now not to buy any snack foods I do still you know once in awhile bake a cake but I don't buy frosting from stores I make my own frosting so it's not so sweet and doesn't have as much sugar in it but yeah we've really tried to cut down on a lot of sugar and fatty food I started doing more baking than frying baking is better than frying but anyways I just wanted to say that you're doing an awesome job and I love watching your videos I love your new videos on your new junkies adventures it makes me feel like Im really get to know you personally instead of just watching you do your dumpster diving and scrapping it really gives me an idea of who you and your family are, and that it's so awesome just keep up the good work and you know I will continue to be 100% a fan thank you

    I'm allergic to gluten and dairy. So I can't eat any of the stuff you gave away. Haven't had any junk food from the grocery stores or junk food restaurant foods for 9 years now. Once I found out about the allergies and why I had always had so many health issues. That doctors my whole life said was all in my head. Yeah right. I have never cheated in the 9 years. And I won't. And believe me I have had to give up alot of foods I thought I'd never be able too. But I have. Also being allergic to garlic, which is suppose to be good for you. And all kinds of oranges. Which are also suppose to be good for you. And vitamins, that are suppose to be good for you. All corn syrups, corn oil, and whole corn and popcorn I can't eat either. So I take what the experts say with a tiny grain of salt. As they keep changing their minds about what is good and bad. Remember, coffee bad, coffee good. Eggs bad, eggs good, eggs bad, eggs good. Butter bad, butter good. Chocolate bad, chocolate good. Meat bad, meat good. I could go on and on. So I just eat what I can in moderation and tune out the "experts". The past 3 years have shown why.

    I totally understand the whole thing about what I grew up eating is not so good for you. I grew up in Kentucky. My grandparents lived on beans and potatoes a lot and my parents' diets weren't much better. My husband is diabetic and we both have high blood pressure so we're looking for more healthy food and choices. I'm glad you all are focusing on your health and we send love from Missouri.       I think for the most part people aren't being too greedy. I think there's just a lot of people who go there now. Either way, this stuff was destined for the landfill so hopefully it's feeding someone, that's all I care about really.

      We are doing our best with our Limited knowledge. At the moment it is currently just water.

      @@junkiesadventures7165 some 100% fruit juice as an occasional treat would still be ok for them. Can also do flavored waters that don’t have sweeteners or a sugar free water flavoring (packets or concentrate) just to mix things up. Some low-fat or fat free milk would be alright too. Or herbal tea if they’ll drink it.

    Our bodies don't know how to process certain things like stuff made with oils. Margarine is not as good as real butter. Soda just makes you thirsting which is the entire idea behind it. The body craves sugar but given the sweeteners are not real sugar so the body isn't given what it wants and we drink more. Loaded with junk the more you drink the more you want. Water is much healthier. Make real lemonade from real lemons and either sugar or honey. Just heat the water to get the honey to melt then add in the lemon. Same with iced tea. Herbal teas are good too. Make things like cookies and cakes but make them in smaller batches and make them homemade. The kids will be surprised how much better foods taste when it's homemade. Oh check I to buying fruits and veggies from farm markets and make your own jams plus canning veggies for the winter helps cut prices. Maybe plant a fall garden. Let the kids get involved. They are more likely to try the foods they from themselves.

    I had the weight loss surgery I can’t eat a lot and I feel you guys! I used to be eating my feelings in junk food. But now I don’t even feel like eating.

    The Lemonade you do have in the house add water to it until its gone. And the waters that you find drink that. Also, whole milk has more calories than all the milks.
