Glad you all had a nice vacation. The white squash are Pattypan squash. Butternut squash will be bulbs on one end and then longish. They will turn a Tanish color and orange flesh. Very yummy and a little sweet in flavor. Those are considered Winter squash.
Go to your local Farm Burrau. They can test your soil and see if your cucumbers need something added to your soil for your cucumbers to make them taste better.

And either put meat and spaghetti sauce over it bake until almost do e then put mozzarella cheese over top and finish baking. I do a refrigerator dill pickle is delicious! lol I use Ms Wages dill pickle spice pack follow directions on pkg but let your brine cool down. Add pickling crips to each jar n pour brine over cucumbers 🥒 n put in fridg for at least 5 days before eating!

Those larger Zucchinis are perfectly fine to use. Seed and peel them, ir you can leave peel on. Then grate and freeze. Perfect for baking, muffins, breads, cake. The yellow veggue is yellow/summer squash. The "saucer shaped squash", is called patty pan squash.

VERY large zucchini are still very much edible. Cut lengthwise, scoop the seeds out, fill with cooked ground beef and top with cheese. Add your zucchini boats to an oven proof pan, add a bit of water in the bottom and cover with foil. Bake in the oven. When the zucchini is soft, cut thick slices for everyone. Eat/scoop from the skin (which is too hard to eat).

You can always hold up heavy growing melons with old ragged bras from Goodwill! Trust me. Or you can find them while diving!
