Fixing sheared off bolts on my Nissan Almera N16

Another niggly job ticked off the list.
I've had a number of sheared bolts on the N16, some for a while. Today, we take a quick look at how I removed these sheared bolts and managed to fix things up.
Off camera and after drilling and test fitting the bolts, I removed each bolt and ran a suitable tap through each bolt hole in order to clean up the threads.

Thanks James for sharing.Would it be possible to give a link to where you bought the bolts .Be interested to know what make of drill bits you used..Best Wishes M

The bolts, Amazon. The drill bits, just some generic bits suitable for metal. I started with a 2.5 mm bit, centre punch on the sheared bolt, then drill through and work up to a 5.5 mm bit. By that stage, the bolt was removing itself. I ran a suitable tap to clean the threads, then refitted the bolt.
