For people who don’t know: Me-262 had 4x30mm Canons, these fire Minengroß shells. These canons had a slow projectile velocity, but due to this their 30mm shells were mostly explosives, with only a thin outer casing. 1 second burst from these 4x30mm Mk108 canons was, 21kg’s (46 pounds) of shells. So in a single 1 second burst you would basically have over 20 kg’s of explosives coming your way. And also need to mention generally unless very lucky a single 30mm shell is enough to destroy a P-51 Mustang or only 2-3 shells to destroy a bomber. (B-25’s were thought to be sturdier than B-17’s) Btw, P-51 had a burst mass of 3kg’s or 6,6pounds a second.
I have a book with a series of real still shots from a ME262 guncam as it shoots a P-51 that it lined up from behind and the P-51 disintegrates mid-air.
Yes, the speed and the firepower was a deadly combination. No piston engine in the nose of the plane, but plenty of space to put the canons into a square shape. The frigtening thing was though that you wold not see all of them and the ones you did not see were the ones who shoot you down.

I was suckered in at first. After he hits the first B-25 he turns to fire on another. That gives it away as a simulation. The Me-262 was so much faster than anything else it wouldn’t have been able to take on the multiple targets as shown. Me-262s employed slashing, hit-and-run attacks. They’d be through the formation and gone before the B-25s knew what hit them. Additionally, a Messerschmitt pilot wouldn’t be mixing it up with medium bombers. He would have been scrambled to engage heavy bombers. I must say this “footage” does have an interesting look, though. It’s better than I could ever dream of producing.
Imagine how terrifying it was... Your an American pilot fighting for your family and then you hear a sound you never heard before "it is just a thhhhhhoooouuuu" All you see is a track left and then after a second there is darkness And title: "Game over"
Brilliant video buddy ...yup all it took was 1 --- 2 hits from the MK 108"s H.E.(M) Ammunition to bring down a fighter Aircraft and 4 --- 8 hits to bring down a bomber aircraft like the B 25"s shown in this post / video ☹️☮️🌍🌏🌎☮️🍺😊👍
Mike Flores - this is not real, it’s extremely good video game “footage”. I think you’re misunderstanding a poorly written article. Galland wasn’t saying that the Me-262 was fragile. He was talking about the short lifespan of the aircraft’s jet engines.

Pilot Heinrich Ehrler
on April 4, 1945 he shot down two bombers. When he ran out of ammunition, he rammed a third bomber and brought it down as well. He himself fell fatally. His last words about radio traffic to Theodor Weissenberger were: Theo, Heinrich here! Shot down two bombers; Ammunition is all. I'm ramming now. Goodbye, see you in Walhalla!
Thx for sharing.
Greetings from Germany
Wow, had me fooled. Still, great video!
Wow, man. This is *super* well made!
I was fully immersed. 👍
Excellent result. Thanks.
I love Renzic
Renzic toooooooooooooooooooooooopppppppppppppppppppppppppppp
It’s better than I could ever dream of producing.
nice work
this is what happend in world war two,a pilot said it sickened me to watch the planes explode in midair leaving no chance for the crew to escape.
I think it is cool.. makes me laugh
@@kittyhawk9707 bruh
You're telling me it's not real... that you created this?
Die Maschine war das beste das die Welt je gesehen hat. Die Amerikaner haben sich in ihre Hosen gemacht. Grüße aus Deutschland
how do people like the game the graphics honestly had me thinking I was watching footage
You can see how deadly the 30mm cannon is.
It is said that a few Me 262, over Frankfurt, decimated a formation of B-17s.
Imagine how terrifying it was...
Your an American pilot fighting for your family and then you hear a sound you never heard before "it is just a thhhhhhoooouuuu"
All you see is a track left and then after a second there is darkness
And title: "Game over"
This makes me wish more of the German gun cam survived the war
Its a game
@@pashauzan yeah but this looks exactly like the germans footage
@@f.j.s8345 yea I know
Brilliant video buddy ...yup all it took was 1 --- 2 hits from the MK 108"s H.E.(M) Ammunition to bring down a fighter Aircraft and 4 --- 8 hits to bring down a bomber aircraft like the B 25"s shown in this post / video ☹️☮️🌍🌏🌎☮️🍺😊👍
Bezonders gut video! When american bombers attacked my sweet home,Czechoslowakia, ewery shot down was beautyfull! Thx Me 262 !
Deutsche Technologie von ihrer besten Seite, dann die Plünderun
OMG. The ME 262 sliced off wings and rudders from our bombers. Had these images been shown back home morale devastated.
Mike Flores - this is not real, it’s extremely good video game “footage”. But there was no real need to fear the real jet, according to German General Galland (who was in command if the Me-262 Jagstaffels) the Me-262 was so fragile that it often lasted only than twelve flight hours before it broke apart - worldwarwings.com/royal-navys-decorated-pilot-reveals-262s-fatal-flaw/
I think you’re misunderstanding a poorly written article.
Galland wasn’t saying that the Me-262 was fragile.
He was talking about the short lifespan of the aircraft’s jet engines.
it was transformed from il 2 to realistic clips read the descripton
Wow, it's pretty quick
