Mine have started yelling at me to get my attention… lesson learned kids, lesson learned. (I don’t yell at them any more! lol) Edit: I do talk to them a LOT, generally agree with most of the video… I talk to them like they’re a human kids. If I meow at them, I’m mocking them because they are being rude. 😂 She’s right on the slow blink. Calm speak, head butts, I get catcussions… also, pointing and simple words like ‘down’, seem to be more effective than yelling.

I don't like baby talk or meowing at a cat. I think it confuses them. I just talk to my cat in a normal tone.
Uhm. My diluted calico was a feral kitty and she always greets me when I come home. The conversation might last for 10 minutes or more everyday.
I've had one of my cats meow so much that she lost her voice this can happen to cats

If you shake the bag of cat food or scoop a cup of cat food and open up a can of wet cat food they will come running to the food
