I just wanted you to know that I notice how Matt speaks differently to Ed - a little higher volume and more clear enunciation. He’s just helping his good friend stay in the loop and accommodating his hearing challenges. To me it sounds like Love and Respect. Endearing stuff Matt. You’re a good human.

Customer service. Had a customer that complained his chevy wheels were binding up and skidding against each other in tight turns. I am a mechanic. I drove it, yep, verified. Turned off the 4 wheel drive, fixed. Explained it to him, He was embarrassed. I told him, hey Chevy decided to make the 4x4 and the headlight knob identical, it happens. I charged nothing. Why doesn't Sand Hollow develop some way of putting up signage, temporary or otherwise, to warn people of these sand traps? If he got stuck 2nd time or 3rd time it would be embarassing, but first time what is there to be embarassed about? He tried to do same thing as Matt, car told it was in AWD when it wasnt in reality, he called for help and due to more experience and the electronic systems being finnicky and Matts experience with it he was able to get it into AWD for reals and get it out. If anyone should be embarrassed it is the manufacturer / engineers designing the system.
@@Nitihene You know exactly why it would be embarrassing. Stereotypically pick up truck drivers have fragile egos, and getting stuck while the truck isn't really, is embarrassing, that's why he took it well and took that as a learning opportunity. But that being said, that's how all transfer cases are, manual or electronic (although some easier than others), you have to either be in neutral or shift the car for the gears to mesh, try shifting a manual transmission without a clutch and synchros, cuz that's what a transfer case is. Matt simply understands how trucks work mechanically, that's why he was able to engage it, it's not entirely the manufacturer's fault.

She must be the coolest mom ever!
I'm in the woods constantly as a logger/log buyer and the roads are crazy muddy this time of year. I dont run 4x4 all the time so when I do get into some deep stuff i do exactly what you guys say when I throw it in 4 wheel drive I shift from neutral to reverse then back to drive just so everything is engaged and no slipping or braking a cv or something.
Who does Matt call when he gets stuck “Jamie” love it 🙌
Liz is getting more and more confident the no tow point didn’t even faze her!!!!! Great job Liz !!! Love watching her become a team leader and how Matt is slowly stepping back and let her make more decisions! Matt your a great teacher and BOSS!!!
Glad to see Matt expanding Lindsey's role on the recovery team.
He's bring all of them along slow but steady. Look at Lizzie's work now compared to when she started. She can handle calls, calling the shots and doing what's required. And Rudy's got his own shop and channel.
That's because rudy's not around to do everything anymore, Rudy used to do all the fabrication, he used to do it all, but now the boy is out doing his own thing and you know what damn proud of him
The Morvair has got to be the coolest rig on RUclips. The more I see it the better it looks. Thanks for sharing.
I love it! Doing recoveries with her church car/jeep!
Most issues people have off-road is lack of experience and not knowing their vehicle!! Great video again!!! Can't wait to move out there!!😃
Matt did not wreck his wife's jeep. He added the ranch life pinstripe mod.
Thank you for your time.
Didn’t mind the wait. Thanks MORR editors and directors of photography and drivers, and weatherpeople, and welders, and recovery people, and everyone else.
Great to see ed out and supervising. You all do a great Service helping others keep the lands free from dead jeeps and razors.👍👏😉
Great video as always. Trevor is hilarious 😂. What a awesome team MORR is.
Kudos to the Matt's Off-Road Recovery Band who provide the music for these videos. I have to say, they are remarkably consistent and never seem to miss a beat but that should be expected with a moderate music portfolio. I predict big things for them thanks to this channel!
aaaannnnnndd now we know that Carina's concerns were valid when you took us wheeling in her Jeep!
Great show Matt and Girls! Keep on keeping on. Thank you all for sharing. Take care everyone. Jim
All girls day out ,,, camera pans to Trevor :) love these folks
Its good to see I am raising my girls right. Teaching them to weld and change tires and getting down with the tough stuff. Lizzy is rockin it!!!!!
Poor Jaimee can't have nice things. The cactus scratch on her JEEP is impressive. Erica is just as cute as Lizzie.
Definitely
We need Lizzie & Erica to do a recovery together .
Good people, good times, I just love this channel. Thanks Matt and aweosome team for exelent content.
Loved Jamie doing some recoveries she is a little easier on the eyes than Matt's bearded self... LoL... Love this channel keep up the awesome work
You must be blind.
@@tinsano6030 I got my own opinion you got yours
@@tvann so your blind & desperate for a female, dang dude go pound one out & relax.
Lizzy has come a really long way in her towing/recovery skill's. It is really good to see.
I needed this today. Nice seeing the real boss (Jaime) on on some jobs.
It#s interesting to see how Matt gives Lizzy, Jamie etc more and more responsibility, own jobs and so on. It's noticeable and I think a good step for him and the shop to constantly develop and get other the chance to grow
5:30 Lizzy has come so far from when she started to work with Matt!
God Bless All your Family and Friends Take Care !!!!
The ladies did a great job!
61, have a 3/4 ton 98 chevy 4x4 manual trans, that I love. If I have trouble, letting air out of my Falken Wildpeaks.
I love the image of Matt thinking deep thoughts.
Amen, Glad you all made it ta church. even doing a recovery. Praise Jesus!
I agree , Matt , sandals are made for sand , that's why they are called "sand"als 🤣
see if you can get that across to a woman. bwahaha
@@REDMAN298 and watch a sandal come flying at me 🤪🤣🤣
Good work. Dry blow sand is the worst. In the past electronic shifters, have left me stranded.
The 7 words you hate to hear after calling a recovery tow company..."You could have driven this outta here"
Yeah man, that was embarrassing.
Kinda but who knew that deal could get jammed? At least he learned how to solve it.
We dropped your car in the lake. That's 7 words. You can drive it out dry. Haha
The engine would have seized either way.
"Sorry we can't get up that road".
(Happened to a group of kids up a WA forest service road some years back. I was coming down in my little Jeep with chains on but had to stop since there was no way past. They had brought their mom's sedan up, tried to turn around, and dropped the tires off the ice into mush. Tow truck wouldn't come up to help.)
Ok Jamie you are a giver in church clothes you went God has your heart . Bless you all . From Wyo
