Such a lovely home and holiday decor. I was just thinking, I don’t know anyone else my age (mid thirties) who does this in their home these days. Then I realized it’s because I don’t know any other homemakers. I’m only able to be a stay at home mom now that I’m disabled. We have really lost something in our culture to have both parents working out of the home 40+ hrs a week. We’ve lost the sense of home itself. These kinds of videos, and my home when it’s at its best, recalls traditions and care and keeping for the home that I have only vague memories of from my grandparents. I hope some of us can rekindle these traditions and instill a deeper sense of home and family for our children.

I love dried oranges too. Do you ever make cinnamon applesauce ornaments…the smell lasts for years. It is fun to do with kids.
