My most favorite bowler is great B S Chandrasekhar. I used to copy his bowling action during my school and college days, when I used to play local cricket matches in Bangalore especially in national high school ground, Krishna rao Park etc all in Basavanagudi area of Bangalore city, where Mr. B S Chandrasekhar and many cricketer of karnataka state used to stay. A big salute to EAS Prasanna, Great GRV, Anil Kumble, rahul dravid, venky, vijay bhardwaj, Great kirmani, Roger binny, brijesh Patel, BSC, Srinath and all karnataka players who represented india and made country proud. All karnataka players played this game in a gentlemen fashion. This is the beuaty of karnataka players

Particularly, Chandra was unplayable when he was at the highest degree of his form. The way in which he dismissed six batsmen of England at the Ovals in 1971 and the way in which he bowled to claim 35 wickets in a series against TonY Lewes England Team was unique and won the heart of all cricket lovers. sure i agree with you. a few point the wickets were made just tailor made for spinners to start from the first over.Venkat, Bedi and Prasanna would not have been as successful as they were on" made for me pitiches". i have seen chandrashekher a lot and hard for me to consider him as LEG SPINNER. what he does so far i could not figure it out. most of his bowl are flipper or top spinner. he does not do real leg spinning with loop.

Chandra loved the songs of Mukesh. It is said that whenever a Mukesh song played on All-India radio during a game, Chandra simply forgot that he was in a cricket match!
Chandra was unplayable , imagine all the wickets he took was in an era were Indians were mediocre , his gogley was unreadable , a magic ball , his record says it all , the most humble human .

I had an opportunity to watch this legendary spinner in a Ranji Trophy match against Andhra in Visakhapatnam Railway Stadium along with his teammates like Viswanadh, Chandrashekhar, Syed Kirmani, Roger Binny, Sudhakar Rao in 1975.
Chandrasekhar was a bowler with falt trajectory, pace of mideum pacer, extra bounce and movement of the pitch There was Kumble There was Afridi There is Rashid But Chandra could do everything those 3 can do. If he played in current generation he would be a 3 format champion
Prasanna sir is my favorite bowler our favorite ground was Central College grounds I witnessed many first class matches here One such a match was W I vs South zone in 1967 where Prasanna bowled were well he got 8 wickets and took the wickets of Kanhai Butcher Hunt Lister king and Charlie Griffith Pras is an Engineer by profession he is an Engineer on the field also
Chandra must have had an amazing finger strength, as well as wrist and shoulder action, to generate so much grip and turn from what was almost a genuine medium-pacer’s action. Would be amazing to break down the mechanics of his action
