Why am I bawling?! 😭 He's such a precious, loving, compassionate and emotionally intelligent young man; Mama did such an awesome job raising him by herself. I wish he hadn't felt like he had to bear some of her emotional burdens and had gotten a chance to just be a kid, but I really hope the expansion of their family brings them all tremendous joy and support.
That emotional intelligence is what made him see beyond his wants to her needs. We thank God for all the support they had.

When he said he was trying not to get attached that part tore me up!! 😔 This baby is so wise and such a gentle,loving soul. Mekhi cried because he was happy his mother finally found someone who truly loved her and then he cried because he thought about other kids in his situation who may still have not found a father figure the same way he did. This kid has so much empathy. What a blessing to this world. He'll make a great husband some day.

I truly feel most parents can’t grasp the concept of how their action have such a powerful impact on their children. I am 43 years of age, and I can’t remember much of what my mother and father as well as my grandmother or great grandmother said to me, but I remember all their actions. Nothing they did was positive, and I wanted to be the opposite of them. All of them killed who I could have been with their endless pit of lies and deception as well as manipulation, but I failed. Now I am trying to undo the bad programming that was installed decades ago, it has been nothing but a pure battle on my mind body and soul.
Please “activate” your children, so they don’t be like me trying to find themselves at the age of 43.

I'm crying so hard for a few reasons. I see myself in this young man. His life almost is a mirror to my own. I can't tell you how happy I am for them all. I, too, married into a "ready made family " consisting of my wife and three very young boys. 19 years later we're still going strong.

@@Kaltain007 PCOS.. how very sad😔... I had a 12 cm fibroid..and didn't know it.. I have never gotten pregnant until last year( had a miscarriage)..and found out I had fibroids. The hospital didn't seem very knowledgeable on them..but gave me options to remove them.. I didn't like any of them.. I started seeing a holistic doctor.. Best decision ever.. He not only education me on them.. and apparently this was my reason for infertility. Not was everything done naturally him... but I went from 12cm to 5cm in a matter of 9 months... I'm not sure if you believe in holistic.. but sometime these "medical professionals" don't always have our best interest.. Also.. removing certain foods from our diet, doing a healthy cleanse, and taking herbs( not weed lol) could help our bodies to get back in healthy rotation. Praying for you 🙏🏾 ❤️.

More news like this please. What a precious child....so pure and loving. I was a child of a single parent and I wasn't always able to process everything with this much grace towards my mother. I'm a girl but even I felt the weight of assuming a 'partner' position, this boy seems to have taken it on with so much maturity, but with that said I am so glad he has a stable father figure as he grows. no baby should have to grow up before their time.
