More on the Origin trait (I do lots of personal testing of interactions and new perks): It's a 2 part perk. It does a small elemental explosion first like Dragonfly as well as dropping the pool.
It's also affected by tiers of enemies. Red bars require rapid kills. Anything stronger seems to proc it on every kill.
The explosion will also proc Shoot to Loot and perks like Incandescent will also proc the origin trait (sadly not Voltshot).
Overall a fantastic origin trait imo.
Special mention: Air Trigger is an AMAZING reload perk. It might be awkward to jump to reload but if you jump around often like I do, you'll see a ton of benefit. I want to say it's a scalar giving it Outlaw levels of reload speed. Great on super low reload weapons like the pale heart Bold Endings or weapons you want quick reloads on like the Sightline Survey for Voltshot procs.
Interestingly, not only does Incandescent proc the Origin Trait, but the Origin Trait can proc Incandescent.
Incandesnt and heal clip was the first roll that dropped for me and it works really well

As far as the Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Rounds combo goes, I don’t think it’s redundant personally. Or at least for a Gyrfalcon’s user. Traces are ad clear, if you drop one enemy, all the surrounding ones are volatile. Popping just one of those volatile dudes is gonna detonate all of them. Still a hard pick over Demolitionist, but it does have its use I feel
Telling people to use a 180 in PvP in this meta is wicked work.
I’m really just presenting options for the people that want to use these weapons in PvP. 180s are a hard sell and I’m not really gunna recommend them as a serious competitive option, but some people really like them. You probably won’t find me using one 😂
ill omen really got shafted since it dropped along side ergo sum since that one can roll with caster frame and perfect fifth for insane damage plus the catalyst takes care of the ammo problem and you can run an ad clear heavy. most swords this episode won't get picked over ergo sum except for eager edge ones.
