That book would make a great end of stream giveaway! 🤣🤣🤣
LOL For Sure!
“There is a difference in feel between holding a 1921 in your hand vs a 1922.” **looks at empty hands, weeps silently** 😋
This is my favorite video of yours to date! I love peace dollars, they are my favorite US coin ever minted, and I really enjoyed this historical dive into its history.
BOOM! Thanks Osher I'm glad you liked it!
Hi Osher Ostroff! Yes, I agree, a beautiful Peace Dollar Collection! 😎
I believe I read somewhere that the reason the San Francisco Peace dollars are conditionally rare and so expensive in uncirculated grades is because back then, practically all of the coins minted went straight into circulation, and none were held in treasury or bank vaults over the decades. The only uncirculated survivors are those that were individually removed from circulation right away.
I always understood that it was because San Francisco had very poor dies and they just weren't coming off of the line in a very high grade. But I could be wrong, let me know what you find out. :)
@@SilverSeeker It's probably both. 1934-S and 1935-S are expensive even in MS60, especially 1934
I'm happy to see you always wear gloves when presenting everything!!
I've seen a few utube videos when they don't have any gloves especially with rare and valuable coins that are not in ANY kind of holder!
It's so annoying!
I also tend to avoid buying coins on eBay when they have been miss-handled from the pictures of that coin showen..
Thank you for practicing safe numismatics!
I just started mine. Love me some peace dollars. Thanks for the interesting history on these beautiful coins.
Awesome! I'd love to see pics!
Hi Silver Seeker! Thanks for sharing your Peace Silver Dollar Collection! I love the album presentation, so that you can pull it out and look at them often! 😎
Very interesting! Love hearing the history behind our coins. Thank you Silver Seeker!

Thanks Gerald! I appreciate you watching the videos! I hope to see you again in the future!
Good morning
I like this video and the history of the peace dollar
I accumulated two sets of those one circulated and one uncirculated except for a unc 34S some years back when it was less thought about.
Thanks for sharing
Love the video and love the peace dollar I bought from you! They are one of my favorite coins!
Very cool video...thanks for sharing SS!
Man, I really dig how you produce your program. There is a certain high and mighty tone with alot of coin and stacker people I have watched and talked to...which i take as insecurity and the need to be superior , or its a 20 minute long advert for their store..maybe i am wrong and i hope i am ,but that is really what it seems like. You just sound like you know your stuff and that is good enough, because it is good enough. Idk if that makes sense or not. it is meant to be complimentory ,and it is quite refreshing.the folks at coin opp have that going on...real people who love what they do and are happy to share what they know. Making money is awesome and inportant in this world as it is, but its not everything and it shows with you and them and just a few others (this is just my experiance so far) . The rest are all like "I would say this and I would do that and I know everything because I am an expert". It is standoff-ish and just unpleasant . I can handle gruff, gruff is fine. The superiority/inferiority complex I am seeing with them is not fine...not even about good.its just poor ,in some cases it is cull. Lol. Great content thus far. I see why your fans like you so well.
Oh thanks Corey! I greatly appreciate the compliment!
Another great video SS! I have inherited 2 1922 Peace dollars (1 P & 1S) so I am looking at them closely trying to find out if they are high relief. I’m going to post some pics of them on a coin forum to see what others may think! So thanks for posting this video and wow that’s a nice collection you have there! 👍
Great Video my friend... I always appreciate a good history refresh... see you tonight... My Auction went well Thursday Night....
Great video. 300k minted, then melted. Our glorious mint in action.
Wonderful information, thank you very much!!
Thank you so much for watching Dan!
Drool...what a fantastic collection.
Great video, Learnd a lot without having to read it in a book. Thank You very much!!
LOL Thanks Jason!
Nice collection and very nice video.
Very educational! Beautiful set!
Thanks bud! I appreciate the compliment!
Thanks for the history! I only have 3 of them but the Peace Dollar are my favorite coins!!!
Awesome! They aren't my FAV, but they're up on the list for sure. I just love all Silver Dollars really LOL!
Very nice!!! Thank you so much. I have a serious question for you. What do you think is the sweet spot or spots for the 1921? If someone were to spend a couple thousand. What are the under valued ones? The ones with the most potential over the next few years as they become 100 years old?
Great job on this video
Nice collection, and great video. I love Morgan’s and Peace dollars. Great history lesson as well.
Hi Always Seeking Silver! Yes, now that my Morgan Silver Dollar Collection is complete, I'm starting a Peace Silver Dollar Collection! 😎 I've subscribed to your channel! Nice Video Content!
I was always told the 1921-P and the 1928-P are the most valuable in this set followed by the 1934-S so those are the ones I purchased, but I also have the common 1922-P too, my Peace dollar collection is done.
Nice set...and research!👍😊
Great video with a lot of info about the peace dollar especially the part about the 1964 peace that was destroyed. New to the channel and thanks for sharing
Great video! I have a lot of peace dollars but not a complete set! I love my 1921 ms64 pcgs CAC! Rock on brother. I had not purchased a 1928 because the 2 I had seen for sale were indeed counterfeit. Another one was polished and I want an original example
MS64 CAC BOOM let's go! That's awesome man!
Awesome video sir. Great knowledge I enjoyed it and gained some new wisdom! Thank you
THanks BUd!

LOL I wouldn't blame you, love peace dollars :)
Thanks for the info.. I just got a book so i can start collecting them. Its like your reading my mind
Let's Go!!! That's awesome! I can't wait to see pics as you build your collection!
Love nice and complete Peace Dollar sets.
I would love a set one day
I wish I could buy that book!
The Peace dollar is by far my favorite coin. It kills me that they melted the 1964, because it would have been my birth coin.
Would this be a good set to start as a beginner? What book should I use?
While the 1964 D peace dollars where passed in legislation in 1964 they weren't struck until may 1965 then melted a few days later. In 1964 they also had master dies for the morgan dollar dated 1964.
My MS65 1921 Peace is my pride and joy, and I managed to find one with a good strike. So many 1921 coins have poor strikes, especially the hair covering the ear.
MS65 WOW!!! Let's Go!
@@SilverSeeker I crack my coins to put in albums, but I'm never cracking that beauty
I got a 65+ 21'....was my highest number, was intent on an full ms65 set buy I saw it and fell in love so now its a 65 and over set..lol.
That's a pretty nice set you have there. If it were me I'd have all of those that were AU and above in airtites and the key dates I'd have in airtites no matter what the condition. Maybe you are one of those guys that likes album toning though.
Do the early made coin folders contain PVC that will damage coins over a period of time?
I favorite of all the silver dollars!! How much you you this that particular book is worth? I have mind set to complete a book of my own!
Um I'm guessing a little over 1k, maybe higher. Really depends on those later date S mints grades!
Like 224! Sweet album seeker.. would you belive me if i said i spent 2 1921 peace dollars. Lol yeah i did.. so stupid now but.. spent them for face value at that! 😂 they were new new in capsule for 27 yrs by then.. good condition but i didnt know coins then like i do now. 😧 got 4 cheesburgers.. me and lil push were hungry! 😂 memories! Hahaa Keep Pushin Seeker!
I'm about finished with my walking liberty half dollar Whitman albums so I think this will be my next attempt, I don't like buying an album that I know I will never be able to fill with decent coins like the morgans some of those are just unobtainable along with the standing liberty quarters and the Mercury dimes ares just to expensive for the size and amount of silver. I spent a few thousand on my walking liberties and it's a pretty good collection but I want bigger coins and I already have all the American Silver Eagles so I think this will be next seeing as how I already have 4 dates. I think the first one I'll buy is the 21 get that out of the way.
Kool 😁
Gorgeous collection💕 Thanks for all your information, Seeker!
How does the book hold up after time does it damage the coins at all? Thanks
Depends on how often you open it, seems like it was holding up quite well so far. I don't think it was damaging the coins, but toning a bit for sure.
@@SilverSeeker ty for getting back to mean I appreciate it! Great channel !
Good info nice set thanks for sharing but that makes me mad all those Morgans melted😥
Agreed, so many pieces of history gone.
I am so jealous! I have quite a few but not key dates. It is my favorite coin along with the mercury dime. Congratulations on having the whole set.🤩🤩🤩
Thanks Rosa! I agree they are gorgeous! Keep collecting, I bet you can finish the set!
@@SilverSeeker one day hopefully.
I heard that they made a 1964 Morgan too.
I got the complete set also love the peace dollars
Heck yea that's awesome!
Silver Seeker took me a long time but definitely worth the wait. Keep up the good work.
I understand that the mint change the reverse on the 1921
Man I really wish they would have done the 64 peace dollar that would have been epic
Me too!
Pretty sure I was reading somewhere that if they weren’t going to do the piece dollar they were going to do the Morgan’s. They even had dies made up for the Morgan’s but ultimately we’re going to go with a piece dollar design, they even included a picture of the dies that I had intended to use for the 64 piece dollar using the Morgan logo. Apparently the days were never destroyed, but they are in like the mints on private museum
I just started an ms 65 peace set, yes I know..im only 5 coins in and over $1000.
I got a 1922 one
On the 1921 I thought the face was raised not the rim ?? Going to have to look at mine closer
Hmm I always thought it was the rim and the rim does feel higher than on later year. Maybe I'm wrong? Maybe it's both? Let me know, I'm always learning too :)
I LOVE AND COLLECT PEACE DOLLARS! MY 21 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER COLLECT MORGANS(SOMEHOW I END UP PAYING..LOL!)Why did they not make 1989 thru 1933? Please reply!Could a 1929, tested as real be an error?
Seeker I like the Peace dollar more than the Morgan
Awesome man! They are beautiful for sure!
Where is the mint mark on one of these coins??
✌
✌
The peace dollar all the great
How much for the Whole Book?😅
How much would 1923 peace worth
Also, you should do a “Numismatic History” episode once a week as a series.
I think I know somebody that could help you out whenever you make it to Morgan Dollars 😉
It pains me to think of hundreds of millions of silver dollars being melted down.
