When I was a kid I would look forward to the Sears Christmas catalog so I could see all the toys. Now I look forward to your videos pretty much the same way.
When I read this... I was transported back to my 1985 corduroy couch just before Christmas looking at all the Star Wars figures. Deep Breath... happy feelings...❤❤❤
Steve you have some great content. I was into flying helis about 13 years ago. I had a great time, but it was such a money pit I had to get out of the hobby. Especially if you crash a lot. Can be very expensive.
Wow so excited just ordered me one now can't wait been wanting a nice size scale helicopter i only fly scale can't wait to get it a nice altitude & just cruise around like the real ones 💯
What you just thought is golden! Now I know how to fly indoors. It just needs more light that makes sense because it is "optical" flow. Will try! You are awesome capt! I just bought an eachine e120 because of you 😅
Very nice looking heli! just wondering if this will bind with the transmitter that came with the YX F09 Coast Guard helicopter? so I can get the BNF version of this one..
$245 with two batteries a bit steep it definitely should include a camera and better transmitter at this price point. With proprietary batteries you are forced to buy two batteries . Great review as always thank you!
The word “beginner” is in reference to skills required to fly the heli. In most countries, if you fly anything 250 grams and over that is remotely operated, you’ll need some form of certification if you wish to fly it in areas where people will see you, because if no one sees you, then no one questions what you are doing.
This is a very nicely made review! Indoor flying, backyard and field. I like the onboard footage. I remeber you tried once to fly a couple of Collecive Pitch helis. Have you ever been in 3D mode (stability off) and if yes, was it rewarding for you to "balance" the heli by yourself and keep it in the air? I am just curious how different were your flight experieneces.
Great vid editing! I like the vp speed prob more realistic to scale speed. But i also like the manual speed to. I think this will be popular with other more experienced rc ppl who would love a scale bird but dont want to fork out loads of money. I hear ERA are bring out a similar size md500 five blade heli! Maybe u cud get your hands on one?😂
Hi Steve. Question? You own both the F06 and F09 heli versions. I'm trying to get an answer about the transmitters. Can you use the better F09 transmitter with the F06 heli? The manufacturer claims you can and claims the F09 transnitter improves F06 performance. Can you test this question out and share with us F06 pilots if this is true and let us know the pros and cons that would result. Thanks.
Wow! I used to love flying copters indoors and outdoors! Such great memories. Because that is over 250 grams, does it need a module or because it does not house a camera, make it exempt? Looks like so much fun and that baby is fast! Thanks for sharing!
Dear Captain Steve. Would you please review the RC-ERA C189 MD500 rc helicopter. It's very similar to this one you reviewed here. It boasts a 5 bladed rotor and comes in two color variants. You are my favorite reviewer, i appreciate all the time you invest in keeping all of us up to date on these new products. Thank you 🚁🚁🚁😄
Nice helicopter ,while southern Europe was baking ,it's been wet and miserable here in the UK , summer has been a washout, and the forecast for August isn't much better , been a bit distracted from drones, with all the UFO stuff recently, I got an outdoor helicopter needs a new battery .
these helicopters seem fun as a once off, it would be good to indicate if you would fly these sort of things more than once. i do love how speedy this one is
Hi , the real copter is from the sar fleet of the spanish región of Castilla La Mancha . Is based in Los Llanos AFB in Albacete where every year a lot of pilots from Nato air forces go to the TLP training courses . It's a nice copter , I Will buy one . The Factory of Eurocopter is in the same Los Llanos AFB .
Holy crap Captain!!! (To quote your goodself!!!) that is seriously fast in manual mode!!!!; now, just an equally serious question (and concern!) ; I could not see any sign of Mr Owley in the backyard footage, I do hope he is well!!!; now, last but not least, perhaps instead of using the Mini 3 Pro for you tracking shots, Jedi Steve could manually utilise the Inspire 1 !!! (sorry, couldn't help that !!!)
I have this helicopter & when in hovering mode when its locks on I notice a yo-yo affect when in optical mode it bounces up & down sits in place but yo-yo's 🤔
Ola amigo Eu estou precisando de ajuda o neu rc eu não consigo sair do mode1 pra o mode2 teria como vc fazer um vídeo pra me ajudar desdeja eu lhe agradeço amig.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thank you and love your videos what would be really cool is if you could use another camera to show just your hands on the remote control when your demonstrating it would be awesome for us new beginners to really see what you're doing with your hands as you fly just a suggestion

No questions on this one.. but, a comment.. your editing is seriously a first class job Steve!!! Great review 👍🏼
Thank you. Editing takes the longest with most vids.
Boa noite, uma pergunta que fabricante e este ? Nos anúncios nunca vi esse fabricante .
Another good review under your belt. Looks like a fun machine 👍👍😊
your reviews on helicopters are so cool I think ill get one

Inverted!! What a fun way to mow the lawn. But seriously, great review as always. All the best Steve
Great job! Straight to the point! 😊
Once again a great informative video. I did buy the E135 from your first review and may get this one too!
Arnt they the same model
good honest judgement
These are nice little helis. I think it's high time the manufacturers put an fpv camera in them. That would be way cooler!

your luckier than me. 395 in australia with 2 batteries @rmb1
It's above 249g so I don't think it's targeted at beginners. In europe you still need a license to fly this uav.

first class steve great review.
Great video, great job.
Have a good weekend nice set up
AWESOME! you flew it in manual in LOS you got more nerve than me. I would have to put a fpv cam in it
Thanks for another great review!

Hi Steve....Really like the looks of that F06......👍
I always wanted a helicopter that one is a must for me loving it so far got to finish watching the video
Fun video ! 😃
how long will the mechanics last as they are plastic, are there spare parts? i only have bad experience with plastic meckanics
It is metal, not plastic, however the servo links are plastic. Parts available on Aliexpress.
Hello CAPTAIN, how does this helicopter differ from the Eachine E135? Thanks for the video.
I made sure to answer that question in the video
But, I don't understand (audio) English.
Always great information channel helped a lot
Glad to hear it!

Great Videos! :) Have you tried the FLISHRC Hughes 500 450 scale GPS from Alie? or do you have any info on them? Thanks for the great videos!
I have not tried those models, so far.
What camera and where? Tks!
HI! captain drone,
Does it have a regular conventional CCPM head, can be controlled by the radio? Pls answer & thnx.
It is a basic rotor head design which is more for stability than 3d or fast collective pitch.
Very fine helicopter !! 😀

Hi, does the toy RC helicopter have a swashplate?
Can you turn the altitude hold off?
Nope. It has controls designed for beginners.
Awesome.
I flew a helicopter from the backyard once, it took off went to the water and landed. One flight. It was fun for 15 seconds

So Steve is remode ID required in US because it’s over😊😊 250 grams?
Yes, but the FAA is more concerned with drones, so items like this are completely ignored by enforcement
How do I bind Yu Xiang x8 8ch 2.4ghz transmitter to the F06 EC135?
i want a fpv kit the google and camera averyting in a kit for my airplane sport cub s2 tanks Steve !!!
Is the transmitter mode 1 , can you purchase with mode 1 ? Cheers bro
If you see a transmitter with both joysticks centered it means the transmit can be any mode you like.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Awesome cheers mate Happy flying :D:D:D
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 also i see an extra female plug in the battery can it take a mini fpv camera ?
Yeah , I never got the Aton for same reason. The Rinky Dinky Childish looking tx.are hard to hold for many of Flyers.

A squirrel attacked Mr Owly and he is now missing an ear, so we all speak louder.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Ha Ha !!!!
Apakah ini sudah GPS ?
No GPS
Steve do you think you could bind this with a radiomaster transmitter with a multi protocol module
Nope... so far no luck.
Ok thanks
Is it possible to adapt any 3rd party lipo battery? thanks
Not really because the Battery talks to the helicopter, so if you used an off the shelf battery and wired it up, it may not recognize it.
Hello, how do you attach the GO2 to the helicopter please?
I used a piece of 3M double sided tape
Hi, does fw200 rc heli requires license to fly.
It all depends on the weight of the drone and the country you live in. Every country has different rules.
I bought a beginner helicopter I love using it
Is it possible to bind it to TX16S transmitter?
So far, no luck
Can you fly it high altitudes in begginer mode?
Yes, but after a certain height the optical flow can no longer lock onto the ground and will drift with the wind.
Where to get extra battery for this helicopter?
Never mind i found out just ordered a extra batt
indoor be great to kill time...too hot to go out
Where did you get your nice Helipad?
Amazon
