I flew on a 10 hour flight with these on, with a movie playing I genuinely could not hear a single thing outside of my movie. I was used to using the Bose QuietComfort series which always had a slight noise in the background, but these were DEAD silent! It was actually unnerving at first not knowing anything that was happening around me, but eventually the quiet became incredible.
did you use the quick charge feature? How much of the flight could you use them for?
@@mib5633 Yes I did! I used them the entire flight in which they got down to about 5% battery once. However, this was solved with a 10 minute charging period out of the entire 10 hour flight. That 10 minute break was nice because it allowed me to use the restroom, stretch, and eat. When I came back, the airpods were at a charge that allowed a great deal of listening time (3-5 hours). Overall I would still prefer using the airpods even with the shorter battery life, it is simply unmatched.

@@H2theC it could be that you dont have the right fit. try different sizes and see if that makes a difference
How was the comfort? Did you wear them constantly? I have the airpods max which I use for travelling as they are so comfy however just picked up the pros 2 and just concerned an in-ear headphone on a plane might uncomfortable, especially for a long haul flight
I really love the AirPods Pro 2. They just have everything that a pair of everyday earphones should have. Every little feature they have is working as it is supposed to do. And the small things just make the Pro 2's so good. They are very good!

Nikias, you might want to do an update on the Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Generation. In the part of your video where you say that you have to press the stem to go from noise cancellation to transparency is no longer necessary, because with the latest ios update, you can turn on the feature called 'Conversation Awareness'. This feature will automatically switch the earbuds from noise cancellation to transparency just by you speaking. Then when your done with your conversation, the earbuds switch automatically back to noise cancellation.

I used them when j went to Thailand! Arnd 4-5hrs worked like a charm!
The getting them lost on the plane is pretty common, specially on long haul flights when people put the cases in the seat pocket or one falls off midflight and someone kicks it a few rows ahead (I’m a flight attendant)
When I travel as a passenger, I carry Both my NC700s and AirPods Pro 2. 1 is for the plane movies and comfort + longer battery and the other is for when out of the plane, sleeping onboard or just commuting on a loud Metro
agree on flights i dont use my airpods, but if i do i wear headphonesn over themm
I always use my Airpods Pro 2 to silent the airplane noise, especially when I decide to take a nap! Works better than earplugs and didn’t fall out of my ears the entire time I was napping!
the battery last for 4 and a half hours with noise cancellation. takes 1 hour to charge but 30 minutes should be fine. it's self charging case so if it dies put it in the case give it an hour and your good for another 4 hours.
4:20 You could also use the feature where it automatically changes to transparency mode when you talk, it will also automatically change back after 5 seconds. It’s just a shame that you can’t change when it changes back.
I love my airpod pros, Apple came out with a conversation awareness feature and its the best!
I love to travel with my AirPods pro too. LOL to when they drop between the airplane seats. That happened to me on my last flight and it took me forever to find it. Great review as always. 🍋

If we wanna activate transparency mode then its easy to pull the airpods from one ear than cover the whole ear right? Anyway if we remove the airpods from one ear then it’ll go to transparency mode and also stops music

I LOVE my Airpods Pro 2. They're such an investment
I love my AirPods pro (I have the 1sr gen) but unfortunately they do not fit my ears that well. They turn slippery quite soon and start falling out, specially the right one. Once it starts slipping out, I can never put them back in and after a while my ear cartilage starts bothering me until it becomes painful 😢. Also, just the thought of dropping them between the plane cushions or on the floor makes me nervous. For flying I prefer my Bose NC700. The noise cancelling is very good, have tactile controls, Apple compatible. A bit on the heavy side though

4:35 Yh in IOS 17 they will have Adaptive Audio u dont have to press. It will automatically switch it for u between transparency and Noise Cancellation mode.
I love the Airpod max for me for travel on the plane but I take both I wear whatever I fancy 🤪

I was a little disappointed that you do hear a lot of the high frequencies with ANC on. True, with music playing on top, even those do get "masked", but still, I was wondering if I don't have some fakes.

I slept two nights in a hostel right above a club and could not hear a single thing with just the noise cancelling on and no music playing.
The Sony Linkbuds S have chat to talk. They'll go to transparency mode, stop the music when you start talking.

Change the tips for foam eartips it will hold to your ear better than the silicone tips.
Love my AirPods Pro 2 on planes, just wish the plane's video devices could sync to them for audio or the case would allow for a 3.5mm connection that could sync to the AirPods. Maybe there is an aftermarket device that can do this?
You can buy the Airfly to connect them to the planes audio system connected my Airpod max in October to San Francisco was prefect

@@nicolapetrovic8427 The Max are good - no question about it. But - the AP Pro 2 are just as good and less bulky to carry around. Basically they won on convenience and sounding very good.
I have Airpods Pro 1st Gen, Everytime I use them for phone calls people complain me about background noise coming about the things which are very approx 50-100m away from me. (More specifically when I have the noise cancellation turned ON)
Is that normal?? Anyone else experienced this? 👀
When I reported this issue to apple care, they told me noise cancellation is intended to minimise background noises only for the person wearing it and not for the person on other side of the call 🙁
I get complaints of how I sound with the AirPod pro 2. So most likely same issue

I’m trying to get them for a long time but they are very expensive and my mom say no
Man I love Apple and their products….but my current situation is ruining the magic. Don’t know if it’s my iPhone (14 ProMax) or the software, but not only my AirPods Pro 2 but ALL my earbuds (Fit Pro Kim K - Studio Buds) are going rogue. Right ear is leaking slightly on ANC. Had the AirPods replaced and still the same. The Fit Pros sound like the right bud is clogging up.
I’m going to guess it’s a combination of the current updates and my particular iPhone setup, but all this is making me lose faith in Apple.
Maybe there’s something wrong with ur right ear? Idk, cuz if it’s not working properly in ur right ear for a bunch of devices, that could be it
I had the same issue with the first gen AirPods Pro. So much so I sent the first pair back, and the replacements were doing the same thing. So it was a me thing most likely. I could really mess with the right ear and make it fit right, but having to fiddle with it ruined the experience.
The second generation totally fixed the issue. Loving them, and especially loving the adaptive transparency given I also use these for hearing protection when mowing the yard

Better sound, battery and passive noise attenuation in sonys. Everything else airpods are better.

it's still easier to just take them out for a bit instead of relying on transparency mode. plus it's more respectful. just my opinion

I would definitively prefer these instead of wearing traditional headphones as they get in the way when you want to sleep and turn your head to the side.

same but changed the silicone tips size to the biggest and they fit much better for me and don't move at all even in 3 hours

From the reviews I’ve read everyone still seems to choose the Sony over-ear muffs.
I go with airpods from a size perspective. I travel carry-on only, so the over-ear options take up too much precious bag space.

Trust me, I love the 6 hours of battery life on the AirPods and the 24 hours on the case… if it actually had 24 hours of charging amount
I have to charge the AirPods every 3 days at roughly only 10 - 15 hours worth of usage in those 3 days. For some reason the find my is terrible for battery life and some people even say it’s not FindMy that causes it.
To put it into perspective I got the AirPods Pro 1 month after launch which is 6 months now, and my old earbuds that had 24 hours in the case are only starting to hit 8 hours left now

Recently I decided to bring my AirPods Pro2 instead of my Max headphones due to carry space. They worked well but not as well for noise cancellation as my Max. So IMHO it was a compromise. On a short regional, one hour, flight the ANC was overcome by a very loud air blowing screeching sound. I could only guess that the people in the row behind me had a faulty overhead air nozzle. Why they would keep it blasting away with this hideous, screeching noise I guess, and I will never know. I should have summoned the air flight attendant. But I didn't want to cause trouble. Next flight I'm also going to carry earplugs just in case.

Am i only one or??? The top of the case wiggles like crazy its been a day since i bought it
not mine. it does move like 1/4 of a millimeter which is almost nothing. If i put it close to my ear i can ear it move a little bit but can't see it (with a little click noise)

Did it twice with AirPods and every time I couldn’t hear a thing for a couple of hours when took them off after landing.
