    Brother which card is that can you help??? Which material

    • @AuTech_Repairs
      @AuTech_Repairs  2 месяца назад

      The card is an orange color plastic protector which protects the mobile phone screen once you order a new mobile phone screen, you can grab this plastic from any mobile phone repair shop for free, the link is here for reference: www.flipkart.com/mgito-edge-tempered-glass-redmi-10/p/itmbdea6f930f7a2?pid=ACCGZUC5DETQFQZE&lid=LSTACCGZUC5DETQFQZEHVEPXN&marketplace=FLIPKART&cmpid=content_screen-guard_8965229628_gmc

    Good Work Sir…..Please Quick Question I gave an Laptop Engineer over here exactly this model of laptop to repair my hinges but when I went to pick it up the touchscreen wasn’t working anymore and half of the screen had Gum stains…..He said that’s how this Brand of laptop is that once the screen is removed the touchscreen automatically stops working…..Please I need to know how true it is

    • @AuTech_Repairs
      @AuTech_Repairs  Год назад

      Dear Sir,
      Touch and Screen Both are Different Parts and Touch is sticked to the screen with sticky glue, in some cases if screen is bent too hard at the time of damage or while using damaged hinges laptop, touch can have unseen cracks or teared glue, the reason why i have used soft plastic to remove screen rather than hard plastic removal tools.
      Soft Plastic required some extra effort and time to remove screen which is safer in my opinion.
      Hope i have answered you question.

      @@AuTech_Repairs Thanks Sir….Yes it helped with the question but before giving the Engr the laptop he confirmed everything was working before I left just for me to get there and he said it spoilt I was shocked….He then started saying repairing any latest HP this days that once the screen is removed to work on the laptop the touch stops working automatically….That’s what I wanted to confirm if it’s true that once removed the touch stops working or his just trying to put the blame on me….I wish I could send you a picture so you would have a clear understanding of what I was saying

    Can the hinge be replaced

    • @notepass
      @notepass 11 месяцев назад

      The hinge itself yes. Lots of annoying work but possible.
      If you have a damage like in this video, where the part that accepts the hinge on the display side is broken, you can only glue it back into place. Best with a glue and some sort of filler (e.g. granules or sawdust like here).

    can we find new hinge base material ?

    • @AuTech_Repairs
      @AuTech_Repairs  Год назад

      Hi, Fixed this laptop long time ago, based on my understanding base material is attached to screen back cover and it is not available for sale independently, you can search on google about HP EliteBook X360 1030 G3 Hinges "A cover" or screen back cover, Thanks.

    it won't last long with CA glue.

    • @AuTech_Repairs

      Agree, I Tested with multiple types of glue, and it didn't work, The Suggested glue in the video worked perfectly, Make sure to free the jammed hinge otherwise, none of the glue will work.

    This is a Terrible Repair.
    The proper way to do this is to glue the broken Hinge Mounts with a really strong Epoxy like JB Weld and then completely fill under Aluminium Lip with Epoxy effectively Jamming the Broken Hinge Mount into the Lid Casing making it impossible to break off again.
