I lived in Somerset for 4 years...unbelievable place, as a Scotsman...beautiful people & the best place to stay in UK, The Wurzels are so musically intuative
Oh my just by chance I see and hear this cover I have to admit I actually love this version. Just Fun and so much more and that guitar solo was superb much more chilled and I’ve watched this like half a dozen times. May the Wurzels carry on with great music and covers
Master songwriters, them (and naw, thats no sarcasm!) They were good from the moment they first got on telly and they've managed to evolve over time without just goin with the mainstream. To me, that's a real musician. I'd love to see em in person, dunno if I ever will get the chance tho (Yank here :( )
Pete and the boys have done great keeping it going, Adge' though would never have done covers, the whole reason he started the Wurzels was to write Original west country songs we could sing with pride and identity. Come on lads give us some new Champion Dung-spreaders and stuff. Oh and sorry Devon-Dumplings but The Wurzel's is and always was Zummerset and proud OOOOh AAAAAhrrrr.
Bet it goes down a storm in Devon! oo arr!, love it up here in t North too, loved em since Combine Harvester! as a ps. he's quite handy on that guitar too!
the worzels are just fab ;-) the songs are great . I would love to sing with them on stage . I sing with a band and karaoke . but thay are the best ? well done, keep up the good work
I heard BBC 6MUSIC's Glastonbury coverage play a tighter version of this Kaiser/Wurzel's 'Ruby' track on Sunday 28 June. On that version the musicians sounded more like session players. Maybe it was the Wurzels playing WITH the Kaisers. Anybody know?
you just have to love the wurzels or you truley are a heartless fun killing misery and i have pity on you long live the wurzels nighthoods all round i think
Just arrived back from Glasto and brilliant entertainment from The Wurzles! They had a record crowd of 20,000 people rocking within seconds of opening. Something that the headliners on Pyramid stage on Friday night - 'Gorillaz' - didn't manage to do! True entertainment , boys! Buy the single and get them back in the charts, I say.

I agree. Wonderful place.
@@rw8733 I'm writing this in 2024.
I'd rather have The Wurzels representing us in Eurovision, NOT Olly Alexander.
