      Then probably there is a connection issue behind it. If it happens again you can remove it, clean electrical connections behind it and make sure it's all nice and tight

    how can i find this part, as in, what key words should i search for to make sure i'm getting the right screen? someone mentioned needing the exact part number to ensure it doesn't need to be reprogrammed once it is installed- what is the exact part number for this part? thanks for posting!

      Hello, it is called information display screen and to get your part number you will have to remove yours and part # will be on the back. Other option is to call Ford dealer with your vehicle serial number (VIN) and ask for the part number. They should give it to you

    If you get one from the junk yard, won't that one eventually fail too?

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  6 месяцев назад

      It could but new one is probably quite pricey and has to come from a Ford dealer. You can get used screen for as low as $20 probably

    Does it have to be programmed after installation of the used one to make it work, I was told sometimes it does and sometimes not...but try to match up exact part number

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  Год назад +1

      If it is the exact part number it will not have to be programmed, at least from my experience. I just plugged it in

      Thank you for the video...I have located a few used ones locally from salvages around $60.00 but already pulled and ready to pay for....new at dealer is $675.00 with core turned in

      I also have one of the AC/heater actuators going bad, go from heater floor to AC front vent at start of cooling season, now every time I turn on ignition it makes grinding noise up in dash area behind speedometer, have to try and diagnose which one, mechanic friend of mine said might be blend door, have to feel which one is making noise...he said might have to remove radio and go through that opening to get to it......I've heard people say it has to be retrained or programmed after new one installed?

    • @bradleydobbs-yq5sp
      @bradleydobbs-yq5sp Год назад

      Or put the AC on in normal mode and leave AC switch on and turn off car and unhook battery and remove and replace bad actuator with gears exact spot and hook everything back up and hopefully avoid needing programmed...maybe you have video for that

      It should be Fuse #14 in the passenger compartment fuse box

      @@QuiteAlright thanks alot fella. My display went out but radio still works. So i guess its not a fuse issue with mine just gotta replace that ?

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  Год назад

      @@thaAMAZNblue1 Most likely yes. To be sure you would have to test if power is coming to the screen.If yes then the screen failed. If not then problem is in the fuse or somewhere in the wiring
