My 2005 Ford Escape is still running strong with 205k miles. It passed Mass inspection and I just put in a new battery. NO payments , cheap insurance, and 4 Wheel drive for winter snow. Thanks for keeping her on the road!!!
In 2016 got a 05 escape hybrid with 134k for 2,600. I had to weld the strut tower and for some reason the control arm driver side didn't last a year. But other than that was a great cheap car. Gave me 32 mpg except during winter. Got into an accident last February and was totaled, had about 205k miles. Really missed specially how expensive cars are at the moment. Saw another 05 hybrid for $6 000 🤣
I had a 2005 Escape with the 3.0 V6 and 4WD. I never used the 4WD. It ran great and I eventually sold it for a profit because I bought it used at a low price. Now I have a 2008 Escape with the same engine (it looks like the 2005 engine) and 2WD. Again, I bought it for a song and it runs like a champ! I love these cars!!!!! This engine only has one serious POTENTIAL flaw with cam cover bolts that COULD back off and the torque should be checked when changing the spark plugs and coils - not a big deal. You need to more then change oil lol. Change fluids, differential, transmission, filters. Everyone will say oil, but that is just the start of basic maintenance.
@@calebniederhofer6529I think he meant change ALL oils. And yea I can vouch for this I have a high mile 2001 and I change all drivetrain oils more than the manual recommends
@@adribouss I have the 3.0, running strong with 248k miles. Everything is original besides fluids. No leaks, not burning oil or blowing through coolant in the summer. Doesnt overheat, nothing. Although, i did get a code recently, last week for a throttle body. Which is only around $40 and its 4 bolts and a sensor to replace myself. Id say thats great for a 248k mile V6 engine from 2009.
These second generation were mechanically excellent if taken taken care of. Problem is, on a clear, calm and quiet night, you can actually hear the rear wheel wells rust.
I’ve had my 2012 ford escape xlt sport since new and never had any problems with it & this vehicle saved me a lot of money and now I can buy my 2023-2024 Lexus with all the money I’ve saved 😉.
I have a 2012 Escape XLT 3.0L V6 AWD myself that just crossed 140k miles. Bought it in 2016 at 66k miles. My main issue is the infamous escape rust above the rear wheels. I've only ever had to replace the A/C expansion valve and recharge the system besides general maintenance. I had a professional service job done at 100k and plan on doing the same at 150k. I have been pleased with the reliability of my Escape and find it fun to drive. Although recently I have been much more conservative with my driving, gas is so expensive these days! My best mpg is 25.2.
Cut out the rust, make a hand panel wheel arch. Weld in place, then use 2 pieces of fiberglass, after brushing on a soaking the fiberglass Matt. Sandown with 80 grit paper, apply auto body filler to the all the low spots. Cheese grate down the filler with the filler gets to the consistency of rubber. Then sand with 80 grid paper. Feel for any low spots with your hand. If low spots are felt, reapply body filler, and sand with 80 grid paper until the area is smooth, and level. Then use finer paper like 120 or 150 to feather in the repair with the surrounding area. The mask off, apply 4 0r 5 coats of 2 stage primer. If any perfections are noticed, rough up the area with 180 grit, apply spotty filler putty. Sand down the spot filler potty with 220 dry, or 320 wet. Then let dry, apply 2 to 4 coats of primer. Then wet sand the area with 400 grid. Let dry then apply 2 to 3 coats of paint. There is some minor after paint you have to do, if you want that mirror shine.
It is a great little suv. My 2009 3.0l 2wd is still running strong with the original motor and transmission. I just passed all 3's last week. Sitting at 333704
I just got an 08 that had idle issues and shifted hard. Cleaned the mass air flow unit and replaced the filter and no issues whatsoever! 150k and going strong!
My girlfriend has an escape with the 4 banger in it and it has 240k on the dash. Transmission shifts a little hard but aye it doesn’t slip and it still goes down the road. I have buddies of mine with them too and most of them have over 150k miles.
You may be older , but so are your mechanic skills , You have probably forgot more than most mechanic know ! I wish I knew a mechanic like you , because you are square ! And back in the day it meant something to be straight up honest ! Complete and Total Thumbs up Scotty !
Even though it says 4wd, it's actually just an AWD system that kicks in when the vehicle feels slippage. Love my 2008 Escape, just like this 2008 except with the 2.3L. Definitely has some problems but I love it! Love it when you review a car I actually own lol...
Had the 2009 Mercury Mariner twin of the Ford Escape, can't complain about it; traded it in on a Buick Encore 5 years ago and still see it around town occasionally.
My wife bought her first brand new 4 wheel drive in 2011, and it was a Ford Escape with 4 wheel drive, and had the optional 4 cylinder engine. It was a great vehicle, and we spent very little to keep it going through the years, and it was ok on gas. Sadly it was written off a few months ago, when someone pulled out of us, but it was starting to get rust issues, as they salt the roads here in Canada. My wife was very emotionally attached to the vehicle, so she took it hard.
I have a 2009 ford escape v6 limited, excellent suv only that I kept getting misfires, I replaced all the spark plugs and an ignition coil on cylinder 4, the check engine light is still coming on even though it drives fine, it has 161k miles on it. I took it back to the mechanic and he told me just drive it as long as I can. It's my daily driver.
I have a 2011 Ford Escape XLT with 220k miles. Bought it when it was 2 yrs old with 11k miles. Blue with a sunroof and heated seats. Perfect vehicle. Little 4 cyl that saves had and has never treated me and my family badly
2012 Escape (2.5L 4 banger) with over 300,000 miles on it. Its a great daily driver and long commuter. Fuel efficiency is great and very practical for its size for the occasional home hardware project. The downside is rust and maintenance. You really have to be on it. There are things that are annoying like the ignition key module that needs to be swapped out often, and that stupid change oil warning (even if you change the oil) that is hard to get rid of. But for my situation its a easy ride to maintain and replace things and the fuel savings and performance makes it worthwhile for me.
They are the rustiest rust buckets though, and the current price is probably a little high. But it sure beats the newer gen which is supposedly built to last 130k.
Had a 2002 ford escape it worked relatively alright. Replaced transmission, almost all the tubing in the cooling system, four batteries and two incidents of exhaust flooding the cabin. What finally did it in was the wiring the previous owner did started failing and caught fire.
2012 with 126,000 miles and it’s been fantastic since it was new. Keep up with the general maintenance. The vehicle is worth it and worth keeping. I plan on keeping it and running it until it won’t run anymore. One of our best auto investments if not the best and I have no regrets. The color is not the color I intended to buy, but I don’t care. Love it same as when it was new 💃
I have a question? There is a Honda dealership in my town that has a 2012 Ford Escape XLT with 204,000 miles, has 3 previous owners, the first owner bought it new in 2012 and appears to have put on an average of 26,000 per year for the 4 years they owned it. Then the 2nd owner had it for another 3 years and drove it an average of 23,000 per year. The 3rd owner owned it for 5 years and averaged about 6,000 miles per year? they are asking $4,200 for it. so the majority of the miles appear to be highway miles?? It was always driven in Wisconsin :( so that makes me nervous Lol's is it worth my time to at least go look at it? or is it a rust bucket by now? Lol's
@@StuG-pr9tf My understanding is that if the 2012 Escape is well taken care of, it can get 350,000 miles. If the Escape has a v6, it’s like a tank. It also helps if it was built with a tow hitch. I wanted a different color when we got it back in the day, but since purchasing the Escape from the Ford dealer, that meant nothing to me. It’s been so good. Who cares about the paint color? We have been looking to grab a used 2012 to have a spare one in addition to mine. Things to look at: of course, the maintenance upkeep history - the rear frame- the rear rocker panels, both rear wheel wells and their arch linings- the tailgate That will tell you what kind of conditions it was driven in and if it was taken care of. From the mileage you stated, likely highway miles. Really. We do keep up with maintenance on mine and spray it really good in those areas and the wheels during car washings. If taken care of, you will have it a while. The carfax should tell you what was replaced due to the age of the suv etc. We have Chevy and Honda family who switched to Ford purchasing, since this 2012 has been so good. Don’t let the miles turn you off. You can get a car with 30,000 miles that was never taken care of and is a piece of junk. Never know and it doesn’t hurt to look at the vehicle and drive it. Also, check the subframe connector.
Used to own a 2nd Gen Escape with the V6. One of the most dependable vehicles I've owned. Mine was made in Missouri, and yes I had a TPMS fail on me. Those have a ñn internal battery, they always fail yet they last a while
Some of Ford's cars used to be really decent vehicles. Quality seems to gone downhill when this eco boost this and that started. Now if your in the US and not a truck or SUV fan your SOL with them anyway.
It's increased complexity... The complexity of all new vehicles has gone WAY up. Direct injection, small turbocharged engines, variable valve timing, electronic modules everywhere, they are never going to be as reliable as an older car, even a basic 2010 car.... But the automakers can't meet emissions requirements with those more basic engines, so the days of highly reliable cars are over... Especially if you don't religiously maintain it. New cars are very delicate when it comes to neglected oil changes.
This deserves a separate post. One thing I hate is the sensor for the power steering. The power steering on mine is electric and there is a sensor in the column. The connector gets slightly corroded and the power tearing kicks off. If I don’t have my electrical cleaner with me, I’d have to stop, turn it off, climb underneath the dash, disconnect it and do a quick in and out of the plug a few times to get it to work. Doesn’t happen often. Maybe 3 times in the 5 yrs I’ve had it. Electrical cleaner makes it last way longer before it happens again. I probably should use super fine sand paper on the connectors.
My wife 2009 is holding up well imho, it's having some issues, leaking some oil, some engine stuff now. Until it leaves me stranded, going to keep it. Someone once said a one word description for this car: analog
Okay Scotty, I’ve owned the following Fords of which you would not approve, and I didn’t have (haven’t had) one problem with any of them: ‘15 Fiesta ST, ‘16 F-150 (2.7 EB), ‘19 F-150 (5.0), ‘20 Fusion, ‘22 Bronco Sport.
I’ve got 2011 ford escape. Only had one other owner that only did normal maintenance and bout it at 92,000 5yrs ago and now at 130,000. Just did all front end suspension. Make sure you’re changing ptu fluid, transmission, differential, and oil. Everything has been great though until someone stole my catalytic converter and I was stupid and bout an eBay crappy one that throws error code on the sensor. Have to replace the whole exhaust soon anyway. I mean, this is a great vehicle with rather minor issues compared to what I have owned. Btw I do all the work and repairs myself. So it’s really not that big of an issue to fix this stuff and way easier to fix than other vehicles I’ve owned. I recommend these suv. It’s been pretty loyal if you take care of it. That’s pretty much true with any vehicle really. Unless it’s certain brands and models. Cough pt cruiser cough 😂
I just bought a 2009 Ford Escape XLT with only about 60,000 miles on it. The car looks and drives like new and everything except the tire pressure sensor is working. Love driving this car. And it has no rust anywhere, since it has lived it's entire life on the southern Canadian prairies.
One thing hard to beat with my 2012 Escape is cabin heat. I can be in t-shirt on long hauls at -40C. Although, a radiator blanket is handy and gotta cruise below 80kph or the water-pump starts howling from ice-crystals in fluid.
I have a 2012 Escape that has 89K on it now and I have no complaints. I've had to do very little to it. Right now it has an A/C issue that I'm going to wait until spring to worry about. It runs great.
@@mr.foxwiz1653 Two bucks??? You're just a pup! How about 33 cents, as in pennies, as in a '69 Z28 with that screaming 302 or that Mustang with a 428 Cobra Jet with those fiberglass smoky slippery tires?!?!?! Or for the energy conscious a Vega panel wagon! 'Course I was headed to Vietnam...
The water pump is a 10 minute job, just a couple bolts. Why can't they all be like that? I think mine does have VVT... maybe it came only on the the XLT trim?
all you need to do is get wire wheel for a drill knock of the rust then get black rust oleum touch up rust spots. make your dot happy. same for the frame under coating or do what mustie1 does toilet bowl wax smear that and mix fluid film drive it get road dust built up. he has rot issue in his area fluid film by can spray the inside of the frame older cars restorations. no our ram doesn’t have it [rot] issues living in area salt none seldom even see snow ice/sleet but that few far between move to south arkansas farther south you go like above louisiana no salt no rot.
this escape are trash here in canada the rear shock strut mount detach from the vehicule very dangerous and the a kit to fix it but no garage want to fix them
Legit garages don't want to fix them because they don't want the legal liability exposure if the welding repairs don't hold up and causes a mishap that results in injury and/or death.
I bought an '08 Escape XLT for $4K also at 151K miles 2 years ago. I've kept up with the oil changes, added new transmission fluid, and changed the front brakes. I have had no complaints and it runs so smoothly! I've had to reinflate my tires a few times but no big deal.
i had a 2003 v6 mustang that i had since it was new and got rid of last year at 165k miles because i had my third kid. ac still blew ice cold (southeastern US car) and I never had to recharge it and everything worked great. I only had to do routine maintenance and change the front brake calipers years ago. i loved that car and I was tempted to make the guy that bought it send me a christmas card every year to let me know how it was doing... A friend of mine also has a 2007 ford fusion with the aisin transmission and ford v6 engine and that sucker keeps running despite her not doing any maintenance on it! 😛 It's a northern car and the only issue was that it died. I went to take a look at it and noticed that the ATF was not even measurable on the dipstick. I put fluid in it and noticed that it was running out below; she ended up having a cooler line that had rusted it. switched it out and put OEM ATF fluid in it and it still runs, 10s of thousands of miles later! Also, I don't know if they used volvo seat engineering but man those seats were comfortable too on that fusion. 2nd most comfortable seats I've ever sat on except for my wife's old volvo s60 I would never buy a ford with too much electronic crap that breaks down or engines and trannies that are unreliable, which is around anything past 2010!
I'm with you, but it's not the year, it's what is used and where it's made. My 2014 Mustang V6 was great. It was made in Flat Rock, MI, as is my 2018 Mustang GT. Naturally Aspirated engines and made in Michigan is the way to go.
@@davewilson6451 The engines appear to be made in Mexico from what I can find online. Not positive that it is all variants. The Toyota Tacoma has moved all of its production to Mexico. Will you also call the Toyota poor quality because of that? I do work at Ford (Body Construction, not Powertrain) and wish we would keep building more in the USA, but IMO the quality coming from Mexico is excellent. The Louisville KY plant is outstanding and would not hesitate to buy any vehicle made there, including the 2022 Escape or Lincoln Corsair.
The pricing, city MPG, and overall look of the hybrid 2006-2008 are so, so tempting. But I do not want to replace a battery for 5 grand minimum and in general pay a premium for the additional complexity on any repairs. And i know that's exactly what would happen if I bought one.
Nope, you're not missing anything.....Scotty got so absorbed and distracted with his scanner diagnosis that he forgot to address which year of Fords to stay away from!
I'll never buy another Ford again ! Our 2015 Ford Focus has been sitting in the Dealership's lot for almost six months waiting for a transmission module !! Nothing but excuses for Ford.
I'm aghast by the multitude of filthy cars people bring to Scotty. The driver's seat in this Escape looks like a biohazard. Quick Effective Cleaning- a room temperature mixture of 1-part Simple Green to 2-parts Water. Drench, then ring-out a terry cotton cloth with the mixture, then a good wipe down, or rub away a stain. Cleans anything on the interior of a car, except glass. It won't pull the color out of fabrics/vinyl. Cleans greasy handprints & greasy shoe transfer on carpeting.
My step dad had a 2008. It was great up to 200k kms. They go bad shortly after that. The new ones you're lucky to get 100k I've done timing belts and water pumps on the newer engines as low as 90k they're crap!!
Scotty i have a 06 tribute got a knock replace rack pinion tierods and ball joint and stab links i dont know maybe stab bushing ir bars in back but seem ok no play
I drove in one, felt like I was in a tin can, could tell it was junk. hey scotty, I heard that Toyota models post 2017 are junk, something about the production process - any truth to that? thanks
You think that Escape sounded like a tin can, drive a Toyota...they not only sound like tin cans, they ride like one too, and rust to pieces within a couple of years in the rust belt states.
Idk man alot of these are on the roads i bought mine awhile ago before everyone was driving them and worst thing i had was a simple spark plug change and oil pan gasket change out
Actually the tpms system is cheap to fix i paid 70$ for 4 brand new sensors on rock auto and paid my local tire shop one hour labor to install them and balance the tires
I'll be honest, these things are pretty reliable. I hear a lot that can last a long time without major problems (At least engine and transmission wise). Mine is over 140,000 miles, that's not too high per say. But I do feel like I can take a long time out of it. The only thing I really don't like is I think the seats are quite uncomfortable for me. At least for me, it just doesn't seem to match with my back structure.
My 2008 Ford Escape (14 yrs old) w/ 206,000 miles and on it's second transmission with that 3.0L engine has failed inspection. There are too many projects to keep it running - it has the rust (I am told the frame, now). * Brakes * Tires * Rear wiper motor and window hinges * ABS/Speed Control ECM * CAT converter codes * front shocks / springs * Electric steering assist * ALL of the engine gaskets & seals leak * ALL of the rubber hoses need to be replaced * Timing chain, fuel injectors, spark plugs - all of the things that should be done while it is apart like that. So, sadly it is about to be condemned. Too bad - it is a sure-footed vehicle. R.I.P.
240k kms on our 2011 with the 2.5 and it’s been very reliable for us. Did most of the suspension at around 200k but our roads are crap here so that’s at least partially to blame
@@jamieharding372 hi. I have one, also a 2011 2.5 manual, and currently have some sort of electrical problem that i try to ascertain. This is my first car was the 2010 v6 awd escape $1500 150k odo 8 months ago 0 issues never a single check engine knock on wood, love it so much I have a backup camera,Bluetooth, power seats, remote starter, leather seats, heated seats, dual climate control so on and so forth could not have asked for a better vehicle personally besides the obvious fuel economy being 16-18mpg but for a first car it’s pretty zippy
Hello Scotty , I'm A new subscriber , I have 2019 ford edge Titanium with 35,000 miles runs like a dream Do regular Maintenance on it Should I be worried about keeping it for an extended period of time ? Keep the break videos coming
Like any vehicle if you keep it properly maintained, it'll last a long time, and don't go by the long high mile service intervals, have the oil changed at least once a year or every 5,000 miles if you drive a lot on the highway, if not, have it changed every 3,000 miles. Have the transmission fluid and filter changed every 45,000-50,000 miles and you'll be fine. Biggest issue is people skip the routine maintenance items and wonder why they have a lot of issues. The Edge has a turbo charged engine, so you want to keep the oil clean, otherwise you will create turbo overheating issues.
PUT A COOLANT TEMP SENSOR in there and drive that sucker. go underneath and put some rust converter on that rust. that car was pretty good for a cheap car. IMO.

Solid.
Those were/are good cars , before they got too complex.
Little 4 cyl that saves had and has never treated me and my family badly
great truck i have one too about 3 years ago with 90k no real problems
2012 Escape (2.5L 4 banger) with over 300,000 miles on it. Its a great daily driver and long commuter. Fuel efficiency is great and very practical for its size for the occasional home hardware project. The downside is rust and maintenance. You really have to be on it. There are things that are annoying like the ignition key module that needs to be swapped out often, and that stupid change oil warning (even if you change the oil) that is hard to get rid of. But for my situation its a easy ride to maintain and replace things and the fuel savings and performance makes it worthwhile for me.
It's so well deserved that this channel has grown so big. Happy birthday again Scotty ! Thanks for all the good stuff 😎
I've got a2005 v6 300.000 and 4 wheel, still runs great, better than the newer ones
“It says the drivers door is a jar. Doesn’t look like a jar to me, looks like a door. But be that as it may.” Scotty you’re too much
Older Ford escapes just jumped in value 💰💰💰
They are the rustiest rust buckets though, and the current price is probably a little high. But it sure beats the newer gen which is supposedly built to last 130k.
Had a 2002 ford escape it worked relatively alright. Replaced transmission, almost all the tubing in the cooling system, four batteries and two incidents of exhaust flooding the cabin. What finally did it in was the wiring the previous owner did started failing and caught fire.
Whenever Scotty goes "Wheeeee!" you know it's going to be a great day!
My 2008 has 320k miles and runs fine. I change the oil on time.
Hybrid version and original transmission ?
You're like a part of our family. We talk about cars we generally mention what would Scotty say?
The drivers door is a jar, looks like a door to me. Cracked me up on that one.
my mom used to have one of those in that exact model but different color and it ran without any problems for years
We had a 2008 and put 275k on it and then blew it up so got a 2012 and are happy again (new to us). We have the awd for Canada
Lol's

My understanding is that if the 2012 Escape is well taken care of, it can get 350,000 miles.
Things to look at: of course, the maintenance upkeep history - the rear frame- the rear rocker panels, both rear wheel wells and their arch linings- the tailgate
That will tell you what kind of conditions it was driven in and if it was taken care of.
3.0 liter V-6 is the golden ratio for a V6, me thinks. Everybody made one. Nissan has returned to it.
Wow people not listening he means avoid 2013 escapes and above models. Not 2012 and before.
My wife 2009 is holding up well imho, it's having some issues, leaking some oil, some engine stuff now. Until it leaves me stranded, going to keep it. Someone once said a one word description for this car: analog
0:20 who put the skid mark in the seat?
😂 Lol!!! It's probably coffee ☕️!
Then might be other Ford owner came from another world r having problems not only western market but in eastern market too
I call bull 💩 and all those vehicles are in the junkyard right now....even the bronco with warranty.
How many miles did you put on them??
@@clardy01 It makes no difference to Scotty- he said don’t buy new Fords. And it should matter to you either.
@@tedschmitt178 you’re right what would it matter if he traded them off at 25,000 miles or 250,000 miles 🙄

How ya liking that 2009 Escape? I’m going to be looking at one tomorrow
My 2010 MKX has over 200k everything works as it should. No lights, TPMS works fine
My ac doesn't work either
@@joepayer17931.6 turbo ?

In the mondeo and smax galaxy the ac was horrible
I am a fan of this second-generation Ford Escape with the 3 L V6 engine and the six-speed automatic transmission.
“I expect to see problems, it’s a Ford”. 😆

this escape are trash here in canada the rear shock strut mount detach from the vehicule very dangerous and the a kit to fix it but no garage want to fix them
Legit garages don't want to fix them because they don't want the legal liability exposure if the welding repairs don't hold up and causes a mishap that results in injury and/or death.

bought a 2008 fwd Xlt for 4k. 78k miles need to get my abs lights on my dash cleared but besides that very happy
I bought an '08 Escape XLT for $4K also at 151K miles 2 years ago. I've kept up with the oil changes, added new transmission fluid, and changed the front brakes. I have had no complaints and it runs so smoothly! I've had to reinflate my tires a few times but no big deal.
@@JimmyJam266 did you change the sprk plugs by chance?
i had a 2003 v6 mustang that i had since it was new and got rid of last year at 165k miles because i had my third kid. ac still blew ice cold (southeastern US car) and I never had to recharge it and everything worked great.
2nd most comfortable seats I've ever sat on except for my wife's old volvo s60
I would never buy a ford with too much electronic crap that breaks down or engines and trannies that are unreliable, which is around anything past 2010!
I'm with you, but it's not the year, it's what is used and where it's made. My 2014 Mustang V6 was great. It was made in Flat Rock, MI, as is my 2018 Mustang GT. Naturally Aspirated engines and made in Michigan is the way to go.
Hey Scotty, talking about this generation of Escapes (second gen), which motor would last longer, the V6 or the V4?
The V6 is better. The 4 doesn't get a lot better mileage, unless you get the rare 5 sp manual.
My 2005 Explorer has 250k miles and never changed trans fluid.
The 2022 Escape is made in Louisville Kentucky
but where is the engine made?
@@davewilson6451
The engines appear to be made in Mexico from what I can find online.

Remember when these things were used as taxi cabs for some cities? It's like riding in a sardine can.
Hybrid ones BTW.
The pricing, city MPG, and overall look of the hybrid 2006-2008 are so, so tempting. But I do not want to replace a battery for 5 grand minimum and in general pay a premium for the additional complexity on any repairs. And i know that's exactly what would happen if I bought one.
happy birthday Scotty , u make the world a better place !

The 2012 i have has awd and gets awesome fuel economy. Lots of interir space...best car ive owned.
Which xtool scannerwere you using in this video?
Got nearly a quarter million miles from my '08 Escape. With terrible maintenance in the last few years.
I have a 2010 it has 318000 o it have done some front end work and rear suspension but it runs like a dream
My 2008 Ford Escape (14 yrs old) w/ 206,000 miles and on it's second transmission with that 3.0L engine has failed inspection. There are too many projects to keep it running - it has the rust (I am told the frame, now).
* Brakes
* Tires
* Rear wiper motor and window hinges
* ABS/Speed Control ECM
* CAT converter codes
* front shocks / springs
* Electric steering assist
* ALL of the engine gaskets & seals leak
* ALL of the rubber hoses need to be replaced
* Timing chain, fuel injectors, spark plugs - all of the things that should be done while it is apart like that.
So, sadly it is about to be condemned.
Too bad - it is a sure-footed vehicle.

IMO.
