Love you crutchfield!! Been using you guys for years. I’m sure it’s hard to compete with Walmart and amazon but I hope you can still remain competitive. I’m sure it’s not been easy.

Do the steering controls still work the radio?

The non nav versions dont have the 4 screws. The holes there aren't even threaded. Pissed me off so bad, new radio working and everything. But scoches kit is essentially a nav radio replacement only. You can use bolts/nuts, but good luck getting the alignment right, and it's a pain to remove if you need to.

Heads up for folks with Microsoft Sync. The CAN network adapter that interfaces for the steering wheel controls will not port the voice command, OK, and phone answer/hangup buttons.

Which wiring harness do i need to buy, and if i use the one you used, do i need to still run the redwire to a switched 12v or will the module take care of that for me ?

+Crutchfield My friend I have a problem with my ford escape, I've been robbed the dvd/gps and cut all harness cables, unfortunately I do not have the wiring diagram to verify the colors and their order, by chance you will not have the diagram that you can sell me Or maybe you can give me photos of harnesses and pacifiers where you can see the cable one by one and color by color so I can mount another stereo. excuse me for my bad english i'm write from mexico

Thank you, was watching 8 minutes into someone else on here and they say "this wouldn't be hard for someone who knew what they were doing but this is my first time" and I think I blacked out on some rage induced triggering, then found yours.

With this radio install, do you retain compass, and exterior temp on center stack?

will the Ford sync system still work ? and in my wife's 09 escape what happens to the info panel above the factory non nav head unit ? The panel that show ALL the info ?? will it just be useless? If so, if I use the Maestro add on will that panel and sync system still work? Thank you in advance

This receiver doesn't look like an upgrade to the factory navigation system.

i have a 2011 ford escape and people are saying i need the maestro ads-mrr module to replace my radio....as far as i can tell this is only to maintain the SYNC functions, which my car already DOES NOT have...my question is that in order to keep my steering wheel controls (volume, forward/back, etc.) do i still need this module? (also fyi the sony head unit I am planning to purchase specifically says that it supports steering wheel functions)
