Lmao yes !!
LOL
Lmao 😂
Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound!
Music was on point come on! :)
Yeah... as someone looking at their first major snow with a move to Idaho and a little stressed about a 60 yard driveway, I was looking for something a little less "commitment" than a UTV with a snowplow out of the gate, and this thing looks like the ticket. When he started up Amazing Grace, it was a sign :)
Great video. I am back watching and getting ready for another winter season. Amazing grace was my beloved mother, who is no longer on this side of the vale, favorite song. Miss her greatly. Good thing you went with a two-stage instead of a three-stage snow blower. Most who own them sell them after one season. Your TB two stage performs exceptionally well in that deep snow. Love watching it perform. Have a safe and blessed winter.
Thank you for watching. Wishing you all the best.
The TB blowers are the best/cost effective machines on the market IMO.
Mine always starts first pull as well. I have the 30" version. Your 34 is a beast!!
I love it!!!
It’s the best bang for your buck 420cc you can buy. I’m always seeing a ton on market place for under 600. The joystick is sick, I wanna see it under prolonged use though. We run a 359cc cub 3x which is like the little brother machine. Basically a MTD. Very impressed with their 420 cc it looks to be a monster
Oh for sure. It surpassed me at how powerful it is
FINALLY snow thrower video with heavy snow removal! to many videos showing 2-6 inches of snow being thrown was impressed by your monster snowblower way more than I need but still. just recently retired from FEDEX after 38 yrs as a ASE certified master MECHANIC not a tech... moved up hereb to the snow belt & after 1 winter of shoveling snow I've decided to buy a snow blower quick question though is it a 4 cycle engine or 2 cycle (2 cycle you mix oil in the gasoline)?
This is a 4 cycle. Annual oil changes required :)
I bought a Troy-Bilt to replace an old John Deere. (Impeller Rod bent, and the part is no longer sold at John Deere.) Whoever at MTD decided to add the option of electric start, I thank them. It's been going strong for nearly 10 years. Only thing that broke was the adjustment lever for the chute, but it's not that big of a concern. Why I'm sharing this no idea. Just a love for Troy Bilt.
So good to hear. I love my TB !
What I wouldn't give to not only have a nice smooth driveway to clear but also the room around it to just throw the snow as far away as possible. I have a long, narrow, gravel driveway with hardly any land on either side of it. I have to fight my blower over big rocks and loose gravel while aiming the snow so it only goes a few feet. Sucks. But I do love my 30" Troy-Bilt. It's been going for 13 years now with no trouble at all.
Happy to hear the TB blowers last long!
Great video! Your TB machine made quick work of all that snow. Love that joystick shoot control, hopefully it holds up in the long run. Also loved the music you played while blowing snow. Just ordered a new machine for this up-coming winter season. Won't get it until early fall. I decided to go with a Toro Power Max HD 1232 OHXE. Hopefully it holds up well, because I have a large area to snow blow. Blessings to all who bear the elements and get the job done.
I think you’ll be very happy with it !
I bought this same Snow Blower a couple of years back and I have never been able to use it in a deep snow. I have been waiting to see a video like this one.. Oh Yes just what I had hoped. It goes through the deep stuff like it was a lot less snow.. Thank You sir. P. S I Love mine.
Thanks for watching! And yes I love this blows. Starts right up too
Tommy "a real man" Garage has entered the chat haha. Much better than the electric option you tried earlier. It's a wise investment!
Thanks! And it’s a lot of fun too
Somehow I saw this coming :) In Da Bronx I only had to shovel a 100' of sidewalk before I went to work. I wish you the best from the sunny Nevada :)
Haha you did call it the last time
You have the best toys. Will definitely consider this model when my toro gives out.
Wait till you see what I’ve got in store for a stable mate :)
What a beast of a snow blower!
It’s amazing !
Impressive unit there Tommy!
Thanks !!
Oh good I needed one after this last snow
This one is amazing
I have the same machine but 30" wide. The front end was too light and kept climbing the snow. I ended up add a weight to the front of the machine (scrap steel) and this makes it work much better in deep or wet snow.
I love this thing!
Amazing Grace background music made this video
Thanks!!!
The snow has been deep here in Cheshire UK......we had 2 inches the other day 😬
That’s nothing !!
Is everything still shut down, or did the 2 inches melt yet?
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power the whole country comes to a stop with 1 inch lol
@@CaptainCarling 😂
Tommy, I have a driveway like yours. If you want an electric option, the Ego 2 stage is a beast.
Thanks!
Great job tommy 🥶🥶🥶🥶👏👏👏
Thanks!!
amazing Grace hym really great song written by John Newton great story how he came to know the Lord
Good pick!
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing. ❄️ ⛄️
Thanks for watching !
GREAT MUSIC------------Nice switch from most of that other music from 'hades' !!!
Thank you!
I love a real review...”snow sticky free” is a term Troy Bilt should pay you to use!!
Hahaha
Awesome
Thanks !
Perfect video and test..
Thank you! It means a lot
Throw an impeller kit on it, it'll be even more of a beast
Will look into it!
It'll never clog in the wettest of snow and throw almost twice as far! I put a kit on my troybilt almost 8 years ago. Garage gear has a video on one. I made my own from stuff I got at tractor supply.
Electric snow blower, for that drive? Ha! Well at least you came to your good sense, and got a decent one! Nice! My neighbor has an electric one, and it's good to 3-4 inches.
Yup. It took me some time to realize
Add a set of tire chains to this blower and it will be almost unstoppable.
Called up a landscaper about getting our driveway cleared and they said $150. That thing is expensive, but will definitely pay itself off within a few years.
I agree!!! For me it’s $200 a pop.
7 years ago my cheap cousin laughed at me when I got a 26" 3 stage Cub Cadet for $1,300. He told me I'd be ok with a $300 machine like his(he buys one every 3 years). I've made at least all my money back here NYC charging people (except elderly) $20 to do their front of property (only 20-25 feet x @4feet) I just sold it last week for $900 to get the largest most expensive Cub Cadet 34" 3 Stage. So of the $3,048 I used the $900 from one I sold and this machine will pay for itself again. I have large lot and corner property and was time for upgrade.
Lucky!! We didn't have enough snow that I used it on a few cm only just because tired of seeing it sit in the garage lol
Fire it up! Put it in high gear and it will go fast
I've owned two brand new Troy-Bilt snow blowers within the past 5 years and each one blew through rings after only two years of use. I thought the first one was just a case of one bad apple so sold it and bought another new one. Two years later it was smoking like an old car. I'm very diligent about servicing and keeping clean, fresh oil in the machines but it didn't help. No more Troy-Bilts for me.
Interesting. I hope mine stays strong
It’s possible gas drips through the carb, when the blower is off and parked… that thins the oil lubrication… ( and ruins rings). my 14 yr old John Deere, with a massive gravel driveway, (200+ ft), since new, I’ve ALWAYS manually shut off my gas when my job is complete, so the carb and engine, basically runs out of gas…
Wow. I got 13 inches on my side. That's a lot brother
You lucky man... 13 inches is a lot. Zzzzzing
@@TommyLGarage yup
Impressive! Is your snowblower now the best machine in the garage or is it still the F80? 😉
It has to be the snow blower ;)
Get chains for the tires. This snow was easy to throw. When there is slush or ice under it the blowers just climb it. And spin tires. That’s a workout.
Oh wow didn’t know they had them. Will look into it!!
Impressive
And so much fun!!!
отличная работа
otlichnaya rabota
Spasiba !!
Love this vid. What is about snowblower vids that is so compelling? Kinda like watching a Cat D10 moving earth I guess....
Kids love it!!
It's the satisfaction that comes with knowing how much manual work is being blown out... literally... cathartic.
Holy s*** that much snow you definitely need something like that
Lesson learned!
If it slips at all, add weight. Easiest way. Fill tires with RV antifreeze.
Wow good idea. Thanks!!!
That things a monster
It’s amazing
The song amazing Grace the song have meaning to you? Are you fimilar with the story behind the song?
Good video. Looks like it`s no longer available on the market due to some defect being reported and need to get fixed.
I wasn’t aware of anything
That’s a dandy!
Thanks! I agree
I'm waiting for the carbon fiber spoiler install video 🤣 we got about 18 inches here.
I need to lower it first ;)
I don't care what no one says or how many amp hour battery powered snow blowers has they cannot compete with gas snow blowers👍🏾
True !
Any tips on how to clean F80/F82/F83 Engine Bay? I see that your engine bay is always very clean and I was wondering if you could give us any tips or tricks for keeping the engine bay clean!
I say just use some detailing wipes
Where did you buy that big ass snow blower I want one can't find one
I just updated the links in the description. Hard to find the one I have but others are amazing too.
Bro, Can you come Over? I got some snow you can tackle a few towns over? Lol
Lmao
What about the top chute deflector. How is it adjusted?
With a small button. Super easy
Hey TLG, after seeing your video I was interested in this model ..
But, after reading the Home Depot reviews now I'm halted.
Apparently, these machines there's an axel clip that falls off, and guess what, the wheels and axels fall off... Lots of people had the same issue . Took to warranty repair, fixed and it keeps happening . I don't believe there's a fix for it from Troy Bilt .. Have you encountered this ???
Not at all. I know exactly what this is. It is a non-issue to me since that clip is always a visible. I really have no idea how it could even fall out. So it’s a non-issue
U talked about ceramic? Blades n inside shoot?
Yes sir !
Yes sir !
Left Hand Drive . .. some snowblowers are Right Hand Drive
The thumb operated electric shoot is 😎 cool
Bracing from auger housing to handlebars...interesting
6” wide tires I like better than 4” wide tires
Troy-Bilt, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Yardman, MTD, all made by MTD
All have slight differences & perform well
Impeller Mod next.?..
Tell me about the impeller mod. What do you suggest ??
Any reason why you went with this one instead of the Honda one?
About 2000 reasons
You can buy 2 of these for the price of one Honda if you wanted to
blowing snow with those is more fun then using a tractor not sure y 🤷🏼♀️😂
I agree bb
TLG , still have this snow blower ?
Yes. Love it
First view 😎👍🏼
Confirmed!!!
Need a few mods Tommy..exhaust is crappy
Midpipe !!
@@TommyLGarage lol
Your music sounds like funeral music.
We are killing the snow!
The weird thing about this model if you look up the specifications.
IT SAYS IT ONLY THROWS THE SNOW UP TO 30 FT!! For a 420cc engine which is probably around 10 horsepower And for the size and money spent. That is just weird and unacceptable.
Even a Toro cheapest gas model throws the snow 40 to 45 ft.. I think they're 30-in model throws up to 50 ft or more..
That's just very bizarre..
Shows you their design is not very efficient...
That's MTD for you.. Yes Troy-Bilt is made by MTD, just like Craftsman, club cadet, and other snowblower companies.
I like it still
@@TommyLGarage I never said it couldn't do the job It's just by far not the best snowblower.. That's all 🙂
Are you speaking from experience or just what you READ? .....
Anyone who has ANY experience with modern 2 stage snowblowers can tell you that they ALL throw it about 25-30' in the real world. Maybe 35'-40 in fine powder with an impeller modification. Anyone who claims their machine can throw it further I suggest a lesson on how to read a tape measure.
False. An Ariens will throw 60 feet with no mods.@@medamit
If that's the best snow blower you've ever used Then your experience with snow blowers is very limited..
Yes because I test a new snowblower every 2 months…
@@TommyLGarage So your next snowblower must have been better.
@@TommyLGarage And I understand you have to get views so you have to put something in words in the title to catch people's eye so they watch.
Me personally I don't like that concept.. because a lot of the times it's basically a lie..
Traditionally when someone does that just trying to get me to watch the video.. I will not subscribe, I will not like, And I will usually never watch a video from that person again..
And then if the title is very disingenuous. They get reported. And hopefully RUclips takes their video down.. And many times they do...
Troy bilt is garbage and unreliable, they do not stand behind their product, my troy bilt 2410 is only good for a boat anchor and not much else, I brought it brand new and have had nothing but problems, first time I started it up the drive belt came off, then carb problems then the new belt came off and when the belt comes off it gets mangled, had it two winters and never blew any snow, garbage
What is the link to the snowblower in the video I clicked on the one link in your description and it took me to an ariens on Amazon. What am I doing wrong?
So the one that I am using is not available at the moment. The one that I linked is very similar.
