I'm seeing myself as a young teenager all the way to nowadays father of two.. all that with its tales of gaming nights at friends houses,att the dorm.. challenges adventures and epic discoveries.

I remember hearing the original, pre - 3.00 PS3 intro for the first time on someone else’s console while I still only had my PS2. That will always be the sound of next-gen to me.
The PS1 is kind of scary, especially if it boots up at 3am and you are half asleep and hear that lol. The PS2 in my opinion is the best and i have so many memories. Still have the same one working, 16 years later. The PS2 is so calming and futuristic

Dude....teared up a little not gonna lie..that ps2 intro takes me way back to 2000-2001,windows open in the house,breeze coming in making the curtains move...incense..mom in the other room talking on the phone to grandma...to this day I remember every one of those days.
As a kid I always wanted to explore the area the ps2 startup took place in. It’s just so abstract, mysterious, and kinda creepy. Someone really needs to make just an open world game where you just walk around a place that looks like it

Ps2 felt more diverse.
PS3 was nice and a little intense.
PSP is nice and cute!
Vita was pretty musical with the piano.
PS4 is also nice to listen to.
Ps5 felt like a movie opening with it’s particles forming an aura.
I wish Sony would produce a new PSP, that shit was the best when I was a child. Like every single kid have one.

No point in that now. The Switch and Steam Dock pretty much dominate the Console/handheld hybrid market. Plus handheld gaming is pretty much dead at this point
I'd love it if they made a new portable system. I've always liked their portables better than Nintendo's and am kinda sad they dropped support for the vita.

The nostalgia I got from the ps3 3.0 and newer startup.. When I came back from school to play assassins creed black flag online and call of duty black ops II..
I never had a PS1 - born in 1995, but man the PS2 and the PS3 startups are super nostalgic. The PS3 startup brings back the days of high school, and spending long hours on COD with my friends. It's by far the most reminiscent of my childhood/teen years.

Ps3 2.8 and older reminds me of very fond memories of playing games early on the weekend and sometimes with my dad
I spent so much time in my younger years on the ps2 and ps3. So much time on little big planet and dc universe online with dad and friends. Playing far cry 3 and batman arkham asylum. The ORIGINAL gta trilogy, and twisted metal all with breaks of cartoon network inbetween. MAN i wish I could have that same level of joy and wonder as I did then. It's just so hard nowadways.

Wow! That's so cool. My first console was a PS2 and since then, I have bought every PlayStation. My PS2 was working fine, but silly me messed up with the laser without using the right tools and now it doesn't want to read DVD / CD. Other than that it works. PS Vita is probably my favorite and with the PS3 I had the best experience.

The PS1 startup is brilliant. So imposing and powerful, especially when you start it up with a disc already loaded, so it goes right from the Sony screen to the Playstation logo... good shit.
Sound = 100% goosebumps
The one on the PS1 brings me more peace than nostalgia and the PSP the same because I keep playing on it. The others didn't make an impact on me, but little is said about the music on the PS Vita menu, it was beautiful.
But the PS3 startup does touch the deepest part of my soul :')

PS2 and PS3 where my favorites, I remember playing on my PS2 when I was like 6 years old, those good times with Mortal Kombat Armaggeddon and Marvel vs Capcom 2 (also some Whinnie the Pooh game and other kids games), then my dad accidentally dropped my PS2, tried to fix it but he couldn't so I where a long time not playing on a console, then like in 2014 I think, I was like 12 years old, some of my cousins had PS3 so I remember getting stuned by those graphics, good times playing GTA V and Mortal Kombat 9 and Minecraft with them, also at those time nother cousin had a PS2 so I was also happy cause I could play those old PS2 games that I wasn't able to play for a long time ago, and now, like a month or two ago I finally got my hands on my own PS4, and I know that In some years, that PS4 intro gonna be in my memory, as a sweet memory, but not as sweet as PS2 and 3 that where absolutelly my childhood also along with my Wii (and also before getting my hands on my own Wii ANOTHER cousin had it like in 2009 I think) that I had sinse 4 years ago, and PS4 couldn't match that feeling of those 3 amazing consoles
