if you try the first glitch in the GBA version, and then kill bowser, the cut scene of bowser falling just goes on forever because there is no place for bowser to land untill he hits the bottom of the world and then falls again
I legit did this with no flutter cheats with a fly glitch that sends you flying and out of script area and i waited 2 days and there were like 500 random pixels just around

Anyway, I can confirm that #4 is caused by Bowser not landing, at least judging from some attempts to edit the battle arena to not use the default platform (it's functional as long as you use global objects, don't place anything higher up on the screen than the default platform was, and leave a block for Bowser to land on, but the rocks may leave default-platform-fragment tiles on whatever alternative ground you've added).
The last glitch happened to me. I was playing on the snes classic and fell off a cliff just as I defeated Bowser to see what happens, and Yoshi literally just floated up from the bottom of the cliff and that was the end of the boss fight
