Hey, at least Yamaha has switched to trailer that have lugs and nuts! The old Exciter trailers used lug BOLTS. Very hard to put on because you had to hold the wheel in place while you inserted the first bolt. Very hard to remove because the bolts were exposed to water on the back side and would rust.

Good info as always. Do you have an opinion on lubrication of the studs? Might aid in preventing penetration of water into the threads of the studs.

I had used marine grease in the past but it made it tacky and difficult to spin the nuts off and on. Just going with keeping them clean and some silicone spray. Great question!

You’re the only one I’ve seen replace China bombs with China bombs. Nice nuts though! 🙀💣

Why are they called China bombs? They are rated well and originate from Carlisle, Pennsylvania with most of the tires made here in the US, mostly Tennessee and Clinton. They have worked well for me. Glad you like my nuts...lol.

Check the sidewalls for made in china. Some Carlisle tires are still made in China.

Yep, "made in china". You can see it clearly right below the tire size in your original tire video 😂😂😂😂

@@asilvaphotography you are 100% correct, I see it now. When can I expect them to explode, just want to be prepared. Lol.
