  • Cake with meringue and cherry
    This is not a cake at all, but a real cake! On the day when I baked it, the guests came and there was no limit to the delight.
    Very elegant, delicious unbelievable! Droplets appear on the meringue, as in the Angel Tears pie. Easy to cut and very quickly absorbed)))
    Ingredients:
    - 350g of flour
    - 150g butter or margarine
    - 5 eggs
    - 250g of sugar (100g + 150g)
    - 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
    - lemon peel 1
    - 500g pitted cherries
    Bake the base with cherries for 35 minutes at a temperature of 240 ° C in an ordinary oven. (Old recipe!)
    With convection, I think at a temperature of 180C degrees will be enough. Bake with meringue at the same temperature.

    P.S. Pierce the base (dough) with a fork so that when baking it is not swollen, then place the cherry.
