BANANA PANCAKE STACK W NUTELLA
ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
4 flax eggs (1 flax egg = mix 1 tbls ground flax to 3 tbls water let setup for approx. 15 mins)
¼ cup coconut oil
½ cup almond milk
1 ½ cups oat flour (any gluten-free flour will work)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
process:
To make flax eggs, add water to the flax seed, stir and let sit for 15 minutes
Mash banana with a fork in a small bowl
Add flax eggs, coconut oil and almond milk - mix well
In another bowl whisk all the dry ingredients together
Fold in wet ingredients, using a spatula and mix until well incorporated
Pre-heat your cast-iron skillet and spray with coconut oil
Once skillet is at medium high heat, using a ladle, add batter to the skillet
Flip when underside is ready
Stack cooked pancakes with a layer of nutella in between each cake
Eat and enjoy!
Optional serving suggestions; maple syrup, coconut flakes, nuts
NUTELLA
ingredients:
1 cup hazelnuts, soaked overnight
½ cup coconut oil
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp almond milk
process:
1. Drain hazelnuts and place in high-speed blender or a food processor, add coconut oil.
2. Blend until smooth, smooshing down the sides as needed (may take up to 10 minutes! or more!) until the hazelnuts become a smooth consistency.
3. Add maple syrup and vanilla, blend again
4. Add cocoa powder and almond milk and blend until smooth

Pancake life hack: add lemon juice to create a chemical reaction between the baking soda to make them ten times fluffier

You only need a tablespoon or two if you use lemon or vinegar. You shouldn't really taste it. You need something acidic to react with the baking soda. It creates air bubbles, which makes them fluffy! The other acidic options aren't vegan. Like dairy.

lauryn anderson She announced at the beginning of the season that she was going to be doing some non-raw recipes as well. Although so far, it seems like all she's been doing so far are not raw recipes lol.
The first season is entirely raw but they are allowing baking and cooking this season to appeal to a wider audience.

Criangulien She's stated before that it isn't raw, but a lot of raw foodist use it.
Idk why people complain about it not being raw if she says it's raw then it's raw no questions needed.
LauraMiller's#1 Fan it technically isn't raw if it is cooked past a certain temperature. People might be disappointed if they come to these videos expecting raw food recipes.
I would like to take the time to say that this video is admirable. I have recently switched to full vegan not too long ago and I feel a little limitless on the amount of food that I can make raw, vegan. This video has opened my eyes and made me see that it is not as hard as I thought it would be. I can still have flour, I can still have the maple syrup, and best of all, I can still have my pancakes! Thank you Laura for being such an inspiration and I am looking forward to giving your recipes a shot one day :)

Yeah, it's almost impossible but as long as their diets revolve mostly around raw food, I think that is fine.
Eating raw is unnecessary. It's not a big deal whatsoever if you cook your food on a vegan diet.

Oh Laura! I've just discovered your videos and to be honest I was quite averse to the idea of Vegan food at the beginning. But you are so creative and really good at what you do! These pancakes look amazing, and your personality is AMAZING. May not start eating raw vegan foods tomorrow, but will keep watching your videos for how entertaining they are :)

African Grey Parrot I don't have celiac disease so I don't have a problem with it. This fear of gluten, especially in the vegan community is ridiculous and completely unnecessary. Unless you're actually allergic, gluten isn't bad for you. Do your research.

This might be the stupidest question I will ever ask, but how do you ground your flax seeds? I bought them whole and now the only way I can grind them is when I mix them up in smoothies. Blenders nor food processors work.
Try a coffee bean grinder.

I made these today. Insted of ½ cup almond milk I added a whole cup of buckwheat milk. And I mixed the flour with a bit of rice flour. It was delicious! I love your channel and your recipes!

I just made these and they were amazing! I add agave to the batter to make it sweeter and it came out amazing. Never going back to regular pancakes!
