After watching Seahawks got their asses handed to them at Lumen on Thanksgiving 2023 by the score 31-13. Nothing will EVER compare watching Sherman & Wilson eating on San Francisco's 50 yd line talking all that smack when SF vs Seattle were true rivals. Damn,I miss that defense!!!

The 49ers rivals are the cowboys, giants, packers, rams.
The Seahawks were never relevant enough to have a rival until they moved to the nfc and happened to pick the niners because of the Harbaugh/carroll beef

Those 2 INT's by Richard Sherman and those 4 Field Goals helped out the Seahawks a lot during that game. Nice work!! 1 Touchdown and 4 Field Goals and 2 INT's. Great game that was as well on a Sunday Thanksgiving Night in Week 13 both teams looking for a win. But, Sherman, Wagner and Bennett and many other Seahawk Players dominated out there for the win. Great work Seahawks. I also, remember the Post Game Talk with Sherman. That was something else.

49ers went on to lose to the 1-11 Raiders after this game. The same team who the last week was BLOWN OUT 52-0 against Jeff Fisher & the Rams then lost AGAIN to Seattle & then to San Diego in OT to officially be eliminated from the playoffs in 2014.

I love Sherman now, but I admit I hated Sherman then but couldn't say much bc the INTs were on Kap...
By then, Kap already gave Sherman a career the last two seasons, and this game was an "icing on the cake" for Sherman, all while Niners were already having a serious season meltdown.
Oddly enough both teams were tied heading into this matchup

Uncle Sherm really embarrassed us this game. Still have that image of him and Russ eating turkey mid field. Hopefully things will come full circle today when Brock and Warner feast on the Seahawks logo.

I was here live at this game. Worst niner game I’ve ever attended by far. Even in the losing years. Any 🤡 who has the gall to suggest Kap was “blackballed” needs to watch this game. He was TRASH.
He was good at first, but never adapted when teams figured him out. Then he continued on getting worse because he became laughably predictable.
@@1984wasntreal Yup exactly. He was a flash in the pan who benefitted from defenses not having film on the read option (much like the wild cat 3-5 years prior). He had ZERO development and improvement to his game as a PASSER. He could never identify coverages, read defenses, go through progressions, make accurate anticipatory throws, throw with touch, etc. He was a bum who got exposed and was laughably bad as you stated.
I forgot how bad the 9ers offense was with kap. I’m so glad we have a much better quarterback with purdy so we don’t have to ever deal with this shit again.
Lmao you forget how many head coaches and OCs scrub. Kaep is actually a good player but playing for a team that loses in the conference championship every year since 95 also Purdy is a system QB just like Russ, might win one ring, but that’ll be the peak, from a hawks fan 😭😂

It doesnt matter what team you are a fan of, the games between the Hawks and the niners from 2011 to 2016 were always so much fun to watch. Now that was football. A hard hitting defense and a tough run game. Im a huge Hawks fan and even though the Hawks mostly got the best of the niners last decade, the Niners are definitely showing themselves as be the juggernaut this decade. Would be so cool to see the 2013 Hawks take on the 2023 Niners. That would be the best of the Hawks teams vs the best of the Niners teams. Cant say the early 90s niners cuz the Hawks weren't even in their division

Incorrect. Seattle was in the nfc west for one year, their first year 1976. Then in the afc west from 1977-2001.
