Both of these teams were pretty bad but rookie OBJ was something else.

Attitude and drama aside, It's a shame what injuries did to his career. At the time, he had the second most receiving yards in a player's first three seasons, behind only Randy Moss (Justin Jefferson has since passed him as well so now he's third). He was legitimately on pace for a HoF career before his injuries.
The drama was a media narrative, obj is a good teammate
Giants failed him, as a giants fan saying this
Between winning the super bowl and having arguably the most iconic catch in NFL history I'd say he still has a chance to make the HoF

He also dominated every game he played in…scored four touchdowns of 70+ yards..off slants

This 2014 Giants team was pretty bad. Started 3-2 and lost 7 straight. Only bright sports were rookie OBJ and Eli with 30 TDS, a career high in McAdoo’s offense.
Love Santana Moss for this 6:35. He knew his QB had been through literal hell and went to war for him.

@@ja_761Imo he was like a mix between tyreek and Jefferson. His explosiveness was unreal but had great hands as well. The numbers he put up were unreal and that was with a team with no o-line limiting his route tree. Giants also did wrong by Eli not protecting him at all when he was less mobile also.

falcons were not favored at all in the superdome, and they came off of new orleans sweeping them a year prior + the saints winning the super bowl a season prior. Absolute classic that somehow hasn't been posted yet..
