How about a class action lawsuit against the government?😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I use 2 cycles engine oil
18k to swap a cp4 in a duramax after she goes
Unbelievably expensive
Complete fuel system

I care about yall as people, and tell you that
The scriptures tell us that Jesus Christ died for people's sins!
Whoever will have their faith in Him, that through Him, they'll be pardoned from the Judgement of their Sins by God, will be pardoned, and will be saved! Amen and good day 😊

Go Trump
S&S Diesel makes a disaster prevention kit that saves your truck from the $14K Nightmare when the CP4 fails. I highly recommend their disaster prevention kit. Runs about $400 and worth Every penny!
Don’t forget to drain your water separator on your fuel filters
Drain mine every month!!
Best thing to do with it is remove it tossing it.There was a recall on the Cummins which the fix was to replace it with a CP3.The Duramax, convert it to the CP3.Does not do engine damage.I know someone that has a 2015 Chevy 2500 with the Duramax, his went once and only did damage to the fuel system
Wish you could talk a little faster so maybe you've had way too much coffee. Jesus Christ. Sure would be nice to be able to understand your talking. HOLY HELL.
Slow pump is from a plugged filter not low on fuel
hes talking about at the gas station pump. if its pumping fuel slow into your tank its most likely low.
Nothing will prevent the pump from failing. I did everything possible and it still failed 230k miles
Bruh 🥲 goofy pump
Thanks a lot for the video, does a lift pump help, also I read that a finer screen on the output side of the pump will prevent metal shavings getting past it?
Just bought an 18 lariat ultimate cp4 failure gets me nervous I plan on putting a bypass kit on the truck
Fuel filters every 20k . Every oil change overkill. Drain water separator every oil change. Rotella t5 motor oil .
I did this and still blew the cp4 at 174k miles
Did you add any type of lubricant with your fuel? @@humbertogranda270
@@humbertogranda270my just blew up at 189K
When fueling up at a station is not the fuel is drawn from the bottom of the tank whether the station's tank is full or or nearing empty?
I also use hot shots extreme lubricity on top of everyday diesel additive
Very informative, great video 👍🏻
Appreciate it!
I have a 2013 Duramax (which I absolutely love)- (I however love your Power Stroke too) and I notice a power difference running Hot Shots but they now have Lx4 lube that can be run in conjunction with the everyday cetane boost. Just ordered some bc I’m terrified of having a catastrophic failure.
QUESTION: can high intensity magnets be used to pull metal shavings to the fuel line??
Would love to see a video on this. Can’t seem to find any info? To me, even at high pressure, magnets will not let metal get past them especially if it’s measured in inches. You may clog a fuel line but I don’t know enough about it.
These systems are running close to 15k psi so I doubt it.
Did you install a disaster prevention kit? What do you think is it really necessary? Or should proper maintenance be good enough
Dcr upgrade
Always something...
Change it to a CP3?
Lucas fuel injector cleaner it’s literally oil for your fuel. That’s a good lubricant the more you put the better.
I love that stupid shit. That and marvel mystery oil
Just hit 170k on my 2011 duramax. Definitely getting nervous
do it now don`t wait any longer get the CP 3 in as soon as you can
My 2015 went at 183k a couple of months ago
My 2016 just went out this week at 189K
Fuel treatment ain't gonna do that
?
It gives a 56% better chance from a failure.
Sure will 100% twice the life from pump
@@zaclucarz I’ve been using Lucas Fuel Treatment, about 10oz per tank. How does it compare to Hotshots? Also, I’d heard that these pumps were designed to use European diesel fuel, which has more lubrication. That’s mostly why they fail.
The cp-4 fuel pump in the UK has a 1% or less failure rate compared the the USA. Reason? The UK has better fuel/lubricity in their diesel fuel. Bosh to me is still at fault and should have known what kind of low sulfur fuels we use and that is the problem. This guy in the video is right, run an additive with lubricity and change fuel filters ever other oil change and you will prolong the pump.
Iinstall a lift pump
I heard some use 1 cup ATF per 50 L fuel for CP4 PM. a lot cheaper than hot shots
The fact is atf helps to lube but it’s not engineered to burn
