NOTE: to be clear the only truly accurate optical heart sensor is primarily the one on the Apple Watch 5/6/7 and then the new sensor on Garmin 945 LTE and Venu 2 behind it. The GTR3 definitely has a solid sensor but it doesn’t compete with them.

How is your experience with Fitbit watches like Versa 3? I believe Garmin Venu Sq should have similar trackers to that on Venu2. Have you ever tried Samsung Galaxy Watch?

Very good channel and best reviews! Many thanks for your effort and thoughts.
Which one of those you would buy for Powerlifting? Garmin 945 LTE vs. Venu 2 vs. Polar Grit X Pro Titanium vs. Coros pace 2 or just wait what next gen has to offer? Not running at all (at the moment at least, as it is bad for my heavy squats and deadlifts) my main sport is powerlifting and then doing some walks/hiking in the nature. Not needing any music/phone announcements etc., only fitness and sleep tracking / advanced hrv analysis (morning heart rates after waking tells much for me about current situation have I trained too much or...)
Now having 1st gen Polar Ignite (worn almost 2,5 years in every workout and not a single scratch!) and like sleep tracking / nightly recharge / cardio load status (seem to be quite accurate for me even for powerlifting if doing high volume, but not tracking heart rate very accurately as it lags - hr rises after the set when I am already resting for next set).
But syncing with Polar is quite crappy, sometimes you need 5 times before syncing to Samsung S21 (or Sony phone, so it does not matter which phone you have) so little frustrated. Ignite battery life sucks.

@@escalocity Good question! The Venu SQ does not have the new sensor, it is the older sensor that is not quite as accurate. The Venu 2 has a whole new set of sensors all around. And I have not been happy with my experience with Fitbit so never tested that watch, but you can see my thoughts and opinion in the Fitbit charge five review if you would like. And I’m not gonna test the Samsung GW4 because of incompatibility issues with my phone. Thanks!

Honestly, this channel should be up there when it comes to watches deep analysis. Thanks again for the honest feedback on this watch. I currently have the Suunto 7 in my shortlist but not sure how accurate it’s sensor for casual runs? It appears that it had some updates to improve accuracy. Would you recommend it? Cheers

Great review. I wasn't expecting the accuracy to be that good. So would you say the heart rate accuracy is as good as the AW6 or even better? I guess one good thing that it has going for it is that it has training load that the AW doesn't have

Hey! No not at all as good as the AW6. The AW6 is nearly perfect as far as optical HR sensors go, but it’s definitely a good sensor on the GTR3 - should have clarified that in the video!

Those are excellent news! I just received mine and had 2 runs so far. The other watch I have is Huawei gt2 so hard to compare as heartrate is poor on that one. I'm also getting training effect figures too high. Is yours back to normal already?

@@fitgearhunter there is so many watches now but accuracy is very important. Try to compare it with other watches so customer can pick the best watch they need it . I have Xiaomi Mi watch and is cool but not accurate at all. Steps are wrong gps not working well so all is rubbish. Im looking for something comparable to Apple watch accuracy and tech in one. So far nothing similar. I don't like Samsung
