I've read so many different comics with different types of characters and none of them made me feel the emotions that Slott made me feel with this. A masterpiece of artwork and storytelling
In my 5 years of reading omnis, this is my most treasured of all. Was talking about it last weekend and I really do want to go back for one more read. Fantastic review!

It’s absolutely stunning! Love Allred’s art. The entire book is just gorgeous and a very light-hearted fun set of adventures. Have you read any Silver Surfer?

I loved this series when it came out monthly. You do a great job of pinning down allthe strong elements. I think it was definitely a series that gained power as it went along…
Hey thanks for the comment! Yeah it’s funny I reviewed the first paperback volume that had maybe the first 5-6 issues and I graded that lower than this. I really think it does grow in quality throughout. Being a fan of some of the 80s surfer comics this was certainly a big tone shift but I loved the story and thought the art was just incredible. I’m very happy I picked up this run 👏
@@TheComicBookReport No but I plan to. I am more of an Allred fan than a Slott fan. A Silver Surfer omnibus and Madman omnibus are just what I need now.

He was definitely utilized in a way I wouldn’t have expected for this run but I loved it
