I've loved watching this. I split it up over 3 late afternoons when doing something mindless at work. Hands needed to be busy. Brain and eyes were not needed as I've done the work a thousand times before. So I watched you instead. Pencils are just lovely things. No two ways around it.
The FaberCastell Classic in the red tin are a great set of pencils too. Those you can also layer until the rooster crows too. There is a 100 tin available for the Asian markets both as colouring and aquarell pencils. I got a 100 set off Amazon Japan. I was actually quite surprised with them. They are usually seen as student grade but for the hobbyists.a good choice.
Thank you so much K. That's a huge collection, it would take me 2 hours to decide which set to use on any given day! I really admire your organizational skills. Have a great day😊
I want to get the pastel holbine pencils 50 set and the black 100 faber castel set . I rita Berman and Luna May and Jonanna Bashford books . I love love your pencil collections lovely xxx
Really enjoyed your video. I use lots of different mediums (more so after watching and listening to you) but love pencils. There’s something special about them. I really had to laugh when I saw your Arteza pencils. I also keep my Artezas in the same bee case. Thanks again for the video.
You have a very nice selection of colored pencil sets K, thanks for sharing! I love my Polychromos and use them almost exclusively. I am so comfortable using them, that I feel like I have to almost force myself to use some of my "other" favorite pencils. I really do like how the Pablo's, Lightfast and Holbein's work well with the Polychromos though.
Hello sista K.. i wonder how u organize your colours collection that so much and remember all the colours u use for every book. And also i think u are really orderly person, i love the way u manage all your stuff. I only have brufuner watercolour and colleen but almost all the time when i'm colour i use the colleen colour because it is very soft and easy to blend each other. Thank you for sharing as always sista. U really inspire me ❤️❤️
I was so intrigued by the glimpse of how you rated how different pencils worked in different books, any chance you would do a video and share those? I would be extremely grateful! Thank you and keep up the fantastic work :)
Hi K, I listened to your 2 videos carefully because I’m trying to get some budget colored pencils and you took your time to tell us about yours and can’t still make a decision! Can you help me please! Castle art, Arteza, Artxx or Brutfuner? I admire your sense of color and your tidiness! Thank you for your time to help others!
Hi there! I would go with Arteza or Arrtx but I like the colour range in Arteza 120 better because of the lovely shades of browns and purples. I find Arteza works on more of the different papers in books. I find I like Brutfuner on certain papers more, such as the new Brambley hedge colouring book but they are lovely too, although I think a Dahle 133 sharpener is needed for those square pencils to make sharpening effortless. Sorry for the late reply and I hope you get everything you want for Christmas!
I have the Kalour macaron set of pastel colors and I really like how soft and smooth they lay down on paper! But I found that they don't always play well with Prismas. I used one of my Kalour macaron pencils as a base color on something I was coloring, and used Prismas to do shading over top of it, and it seemed to cause my Prismas to clump and it was hard to get it to smooth out. It's possible that it was something that I was doing wrong lol but Idk for sure what caused it. I just assumed it was that they don't work well together, but like I said, it could just be something I did!
K, I appreciate that you really tried to offer your honest opinion on each set of pencils. Your advice is valuable to me. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend! PD Today is the International Bees' Day! 🎉❤
Love seeing all the different products you use. Is there a uk supplier for the brutfuner pencils or do they need to be imported? Would love to try them.
What are your thoughts on the Crayola pencils? The wood is hard to sharpen but I am finding the colour range is amazing in the large set and they work quite well for such a cheap pencil.
@@ColouringwithK have you seen Pamela’s videos on them? They are surprisingly neat pencils for so cheap a brand they have colours no other pencils have made they lay down ok too.
I thought I'd love the Chromaflows, but I was unhappy with them when I used them in one of my Lulu books. The picture turned out fine but I really struggled getting them to blend.😢 Perhaps they'll work better for me in different books. Great collection for sure!! I enjoyed this video!
The writing on the luMinance is changed, there is no longer silver but they use white now, easier to read.🥰 thank you for sharing enjoyed watching both videos💕
You are a bad influence K 😂 after watching Part 1 I went & bought the Colorya Imaginor pencils. I 'really needed' more pencils! Anyway really pleased with them, a complete bargain. Your Arteza set looks like my Coloursoft set. Funny how we all have our favourites. Arteza are lovely though.
Can I disagree with you about the Pablo’s? I don’t think they are hard at all. I would put them between the Prismacolors and the Polychromos for feel, then again feeling is an individual thing.
Great video K lovely collection of pencils I always enjoy colouring with the chromaflow pencils and prismacolor
Thank you for sharing 😊💖

I love the Pablos colours too, the blues and browns. Lovely.
Thank you! Cheers!

Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Didn’t see the Koh i Noor polycolours though. Maybe you had them in an earlier video.
Oh no, did I miss them out!? I know I have a 24 or 36 of the Koh I noor polycolors, I’m always accidentally missing stuff off, sorry!

I will hopefully do that once I’ve recorded a few more brands and different books, watch this space! 😊
Gorgeous ^^ being a pencil nerd myself I truly enjoyed it ^^

Lovely collection. Do you mind me asking where you buy your open stock Prismacolors from? Thank you. X

PD Today is the International Bees' Day! 🎉❤
Thanks for letting me know, I also found out it was international bees day yesterday from Amanda’s colouring channel. Thanks for watching x
Thank you so much K. Love to hear your thoughts on the performance of each set. 😊❤🎉
Love seeing all the different products you use. Is there a uk supplier for the brutfuner pencils or do they need to be imported? Would love to try them.
I got them from Amazon UK
So, Chromaflow v.s. Arteza Expert?
Erm, that’s a difficult one - I find Arteza better on different papers compared to Chromaflows
What are your thoughts on the Crayola pencils? The wood is hard to sharpen but I am finding the colour range is amazing in the large set and they work quite well for such a cheap pencil.
I have not used Crayola yet!
@@ColouringwithK have you seen Pamela’s videos on them? They are surprisingly neat pencils for so cheap a brand they have colours no other pencils have made they lay down ok too.
@@catlady256 ooohh you are so tempting me! 😊💕
They are nice pencils, just not very color saturated.

I think like most pencils, they work on certain papers better than others so don’t give up on them just yet!

That’s good to hear

Your Arteza set looks like my Coloursoft set. Funny how we all have our favourites. Arteza are lovely though.
Hope you enjoy your new pencils
Where can you buy Arteza individual pencils? I am in Australia
I get them from the Arteza UK website but they are often out of stock which is frustrating. Alternatively, sometimes find them on Amazon UK
Can I disagree with you about the Pablo’s? I don’t think they are hard at all. I would put them between the Prismacolors and the Polychromos for feel, then again feeling is an individual thing.
On some papers they feel harder but on others I guess, they feel less hard to me. They are nice pencils, I just need to use them more
